What a fabulous Mother's Day, made even better by the amazing weather. The station house was picturesque in the afternoon sun. We started out visit outside on the patio with some pre drinks and some lovely music played in the background. Afternoon tea was served in the restaurant and there was so much on offer. We couldn't fault any of...

My hubby and myself took a little trip up to Kilmessan to celebrate his birthday on a cold, wet weekend in February. Our room was tiny but very well equipt, with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was gorgeous, very soft with good quality linen. The staff were lovely, always a smile and a hello as they...

We stayed at the Station House while doing some sightseeing in the Boyne Valley. A warm welcome greeted us at reception and staff in bar / dining room continued to provide great service throughout our stay. We had Tea & Scones on arrival which were freshly made and delicious, coming with cream and jam. We dined in the bar the...

Room was clean although needed a little upgrading but it is exactly as it says on the tin, quaint and cosy. Food was fabulous, good atmosphere in the bar, grounds are lovely...

Great value, excellent meal and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family room in the hotel, it was very spacious, well maintained and warm. Nothing was too much trouble...

My husband and I and our very good friends visited The Station House on Saturday 25th February. We checked in at 230pm no fuss just took a few seconds. Our room although small was perfectly clean, warm and comfortable and well stocked with fresh fruit, bottled water, tea and coffee and WIFI. The hotel itself was very comfortable with two...

We booked a Friday night deal via Pigsback.com in mid January for a stay on 18th February 2017. When we presented ourselves at reception at 4.30pm there was a lot of tapping on the keyboard and quizzical looks at the screen by the hotel receptionist, followed by those dreaded words “we don’t seem to have any record of your booking”....

We stayed here for the night 21/2/17 and had a meal in the bar. Lovely steak, cooked to perfect temperature and reasonable prices. Rooms are a little old fashioned but add to the atmosphere of the place. Beautiful gardens, would recommend!
