Attended a Wedding in December. Attention to detail by the staff and Management was fantastic. Room had everything you would require from a 4 star hotel. The Hotel its self is in the Country side so it was a relaxing stay. Food in the bar was tasty. I would recommend this Hotel for a relaxing break.

When I book a stay in a hotel I usually look for one with a leisure centre ,so I can have a swim & a workout, I have been a member of the Johnstown estate hotel's leisure centre for many years & in all my travels I never found one that bettered it.With its big roomie gym, pool, Jacuzzi (indoor/outdoor)...

I recently arranged a family birthday celebration extending to 12 people with dinner and an overnight stay. Right through the process from booking with Ciara and Collette, checking into our upgraded suites, eating dinner in our very own dining room with exceptional service and delicious dinner, drinks by the fire in the bar, and fresh breakfast the following morning, I...

We got one of those deals. Generally, I think the hotel is reasonably priced and is good value for money in terms of the quality of the food, use of the pool and quality of the rooms. Staff were pleasant. Overall would go back at the right price

For our family Christmas night out we decided to dodge the Christmas Party Nights and come here for a nice meal and an overnighter. What a good choice! Rooms gorgeous, comfy and well fitted out, also spotless. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower and, most importantly, a magnifying mirror - essential for those of a certain age. . Staff...

Apart from the bedroom the hotel was cold and we shivered our way around especially in the leisure centre. Room was much smaller than expected.Stuffy with only one window that could be only opened an inch. The door leading from the room to the garden was locked and no key.TV was in a large cabinet and the screen couldn't be seen...

Decided to do an overnight with dinner and spa treatments with a friend. One of the nicest hotels I've been to from start to finish. It was warm on entering and throughout. The spa facilities are superb. The treatments were lovely. We went from the spa directly to check in. Staff were lovely. The room was spacious and spotless. Dinner...

Staff were lovely...spa was fantastic!did not have dinner here but had breakfast which was just ok tbh....most of the food was lukewarm and the eggs, sausages, pudding in particular were all lacking flavour...bar and spa staff were very friendly and efficient...will definitely be back 😀

Stayed in this fantastic hotel for a night. Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the full facility as we had an early start to head Christmas shopping in Dublin! The room we were assigned turned out to be a junior suite. What a nice treat! We have stayed here many times previously and it is always up to a...
