This is a small resort with prices on the higher end but with dated rooms. What makes this special is the amazing service and the friendliness of its staff. The kitchen crew dishes out some real nice food and its safe to eat (meaning you arent going to get sick)

rooms are ok, but there is no fridge and this is abolutely unacceptable for that price,, there is no internet not even in the lobby when you ask, they tell you to go and have a beer in an other hotel pretty far. the location out of town could be great but it's on a busy road, the road to...

I didn't stay at Vesali this time to Mrauk U but hired out Nyi Nyi Tran as guide and interpreter referred by the hotel. Nyi Nyi was amazing and was able to take me to some pretty remote spots and for my photographic needs, was spot on! Not only was he able to introduce me to villagers off the grid...

We were a party of 4 and we stayed at Vesali at the beginning of January for 3 nights. The rooms are comfortable albeit a little spartan considering the rates. Particularly in Mrauk-u, if you bear in mind that there is no wi-fi virtually anywhere, except from the super deluxe Princess Hotel. This said, often in Myanmar are some services...

This is a lovely place to stay! The staff who run it are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the place is well run. The bungalow was clean and well looked after, with a nice warm shower. The gardens are also nice! Its in a nice area in Mrauk U, being a short walk to the eastern temples. The room is...

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Our room was basic and clean and beds were comfortable. The mosquito nets was provided and put on at evening. Bathroom was basic showing wore out sign and not much room for toiletry. Breakfast was basic but efficient. You could have any styles of egg, toasts, butter and jams. Coffee and tea. We...

Our overall experience with the vesali resort was very dissapointing, although it seems to be one of the better places in town. Everywhere in Mrauk U people seem to treat you as a cashcow. Compared to other places in myanmar this was the most expensive one with regards to what you get. We got ourselves a bungalow with ac, the...

The location is a bit out of town, but that is a plus in my opinion. We rented bikes and were in the village in 5 minutes. The "cabins" are spacious, with basic furniture and no luxury. But they work. AC is a big plus. Mosquito net as well, - although I did not see any. I loved sitting outside...

This hotel has no gym, no pool, no minibar, no internet--pretty much a 3 Star type of lodging. But the "bungalow" rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet with good AC and each with a nice porch. The grounds are pleasant. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of town to be peaceful but close enough that everything is still very...

“Book a room as far back from the road as possible as the town generator is about 400 metres away and can be heard (not loudly)”

“Rooms up the hill are better since the town generator is located on the other side and can be noisy when it runs. But of late the town has got grid electricity, so the generator is not much used - at least wasn't when we were there.”
