A group of us from a social history group in Belfast based ourselves here for two nights in order to visit sites of interest in the area. The hotel is in the centre of Ballyliffin and although there is not much to see or do here it is a very good base for touring as everywhere of interest is within...

We had 80 people from NI booked into this hotel to attend our sons wedding in April. I can say not only from my own experience but feedback from our family and friends how friendly, helpful and accommodating the staff and hotel owners were. They made are special celebrations even more enjoyable with their friendly chat and smiles. Ballyliffin is...

First visit to this hotel, staff are so very friendly. Location is first class, we ate in the restaurant the first evening and in the bar which was extremely busy, the second night both nights were excellent. Found the bed a little hard for our liking this would not put us off staying again.

They say Donegal is a different world but Inishowen is a world on its own. There is no better place to explore it from than the Ballyliffin Hotel. The friendly service is also out of this world. I met Blaine who was on duty at 6am who couldn't have been more helpful providing me with a strong coffee. As a...

One of my best friends held her wedding here in March. I couldn't speak highly enough of the staff and their help and attention to detail. They allowed me and another friend to come two days before the wedding to set up the favors table and were always on hand to offer advice. Food was also delicious and promptly served....

Staying in this hotel with a groupon and most delighted with it. The food is excellent, room clean, staff friendly and helpful and despite what others have said regarding poor wifi, we found the wifi in the bedroom to be excellent. Looking forward to dinner in the hotel tonight again. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a two night Groupon stay recently in Ballyliffin Hotel. It was very clean, comfortable rooms and good shower over the bath. We enjoyed dinner in the dining room and the bar, but be prepared to wait for about 30 mins as service was slow. The food when it arrived was excellent and the staff were friendly and sociable....

We stayed for two nights mid week and though the hotel was almost empty we found our room small, all kitted out for a disabled person, poor TV channels and no access to WIFI. We were situated above the bar and the music on the first night went on till 2 am. We asked to be moved but they assured...
