Automatic gate is unreliable, sometimes work sometimes doesnt. Pool jet and lights dont work. Electricity bill isnt included in the booking cost. Very big and clean villa, good for staycay but not if you want to go out and explore (cab fares arent cheap)

Booked 8 days here because I needed somewhere close to the fitness street. Arrived at around 3pm for check in and while the location is great for what I needed it lacked in everything else. Reception staff don’t speak a word of English so it was painful trying to understand anything but eventually paid the room got the key and was shown to the apartment. Walking in the building you could smell a damp smell which was unpleasant and then got to the apartment and it just felt dirty. Old furniture in the living room insects on the floors and in the bedroom and I just kept thinking to myself I won’t be able to last 8 days here... Ac in the bedroom was not cooling... decided to drive to a supermarket to buy bug spray, air freshener and washing powder for clothes since it had a washing machine which was a good touch... by the time we came back at around 10pm we saw police in the complex which made us a bit on edge considering there were multiple signs around saying to make sure you keep belongings with you because of theft. The AC was not working at all and how do you communicate with the staff that don’t speak English? It was getting very stressful the bedsheets were dirty mattress was rock hard and it just felt very uncomfortable... luckily was looking through Instagram and found a boutique hotel nearby and drive there to see if they had rooms.... luckily they did and the girl in reception was great so I told her let me go back to my apartment and see if they will cancel my booking and refund my money... went back and this is now close to midnight, talked to the staff using hand gestures and Google translate in the end after 30 mins of complaining agreed on a partial refund which at this point I would have left with no refund.... they disconnected the electricity in the room so we had to put all the bags together and all our belongings with the help of the light from our phones (they did this on purpose I’m sure of it) Long story short we managed to leave and settle in the new hotel by 1am so it was a blessing in disguise that this hotel was so rundown and dirty I would not recommend this hotel to anyone no matter how desperate you are for accommodation near chalong

This place is unsanitary, I had to ask them to change the sheets. It is listed as a 4 star resort but I would avoid it at all costs. The power went out multiple times during the stay, but power was on just around the corner. Because it was raining and the power was out, I couldn't go back to the gym to get my keycard, so they insisted I pay 1000 baht for a new keycard, even through all the inconveniences. The next day I was able to get the keycard easily when it stopped raining. The customer service was bad and not understanding. This is not a western friendly place.

We were a bit dubious at first as this was the first time we had booked through Expedia. This hotel was lovely, friendly welcome fro ladies at reception, we booked a 1 bedroom suite in block C1 6th floor big open plan living / dining space lovely big bedroom with ensuite with additional shower. Rooms cleaned ever day with fresh towels & bedding. Pool area was clean and no need to fight for a bed, the restaurant prepared lovely / fresh food every day. Not much round about hotel as this is more a residential area as we were here for muay thai that didn't bother us, if you come out hotel and turn right about 200mtrs up pass the traffic lights and turn right into street you will find all the gyms and some bars. Most nights had the bar to ourselves as hotel only 20% occupied. Would definitely recommend this hotel for first timers to Thailand.

Big apartments with comfy bed. It’s a big establishment with several blocks and landed houses. Two Swimming pools. Gym is well equipped and faces the pool. There’s a big lake nearby. Ample free parking and security. Overall a great place to stay while in Chalong.

This serviced apartment is pretty cool. Fully equipped with a full kitchen. I love our balcony sofa facing the rugged mountain and temple. Two toilets and a tub! Bed linens are clean and comfy. I wish I had more time to stay in bed cos the sliding glass wall is so tempting for cozying. Let me tell you about the breakfast: > Chinese style is available as many of the guests are Chinese > got coffee/milk/juice and cereals (thumbs up) > toaster, butter and jam > No Room key no breakfast > tropical fruits overload no durian though Amenities: > mini gym > two pools (1st floor & 2nd floor) > a bar beside a pool (1st floor) > you can jog around, pretty wide area > convenient store for all your needs > a bar and a band > only one door key, you cannot use the lift without the room key, stairs got locks too and needs the room key > soundproof > small lifts What's around the area: > there's a farmer's market walking distance that opens late afternoon > some massage shops > other hotels > temples My company decided to conduct our yearly team-building outing in Phuket. Our itinerary was pretty hectic however our travel was organized perfectly. From our hotel, it was convenient to hop from one scenic area to another.

My partner & I stayed in a 1-bedroom Family Suite at the Chalong Miracle Lakeview apartment/hotel resort from 18/5/2018 to 22/5/2018. Our unit was at the Building C3, room number 168. At 90 sq m., the apartment is luxuriously huge and caters comfortably to all our needs. The room looks exactly as the pics shown in the website. It has a self-sufficient kitchen with a full-sized fridge and a dining table with 4 chairs. In the living area, there are 2 large comfy sofas and a large TV with many cable channels. The balcony is also an extremely big and a longish one which can be accessed either from the living room or the bedroom. The were 2 deck-chairs with foot-rest and a table in it. The reclining chairs were so comfortable and there was a good breeze coming from the mountains which our balcony was facing, that I dozed off in it several times while relaxing after a long day of sightseeings. The bedroom is also one of the largest that I had ever stayed while on holidays before. It has a huge double bed with a single bed next to it. No lack of sleeping space to be sure. The beds were very comfortable and clean and there is also another TV in the bedroom too. There are 2 bathrooms in the apartment (a luxurious consideration by any standard). The one in the bedroom is huge and spacious. It has a LARGE bath tub with jacuzzi jets and a separate shower cubicle. One of the many plus points in this apartment is also that the water pressure is strong and it takes only just a few minutes to fill up the huge bath tub. Soaking in the warm bubbly water of the tub is one of the high points of my day after a tiring day of shopping and exploring the island. The towels provided are also plentiful and of very good material. Big, soft and nice-smelling too ! This condotel resort is a newly built one and has an extremely huge compound. Its more like a mini residential estate. The entrance to the compound is a large and grand affair, and its just off the street side (which is a good thing when comparing to other places up the hills which have steep slopes to navigate before reaching the premises.) Right at the entrance before the security guards post, there is a round-about with a water fountain in it and sculptures of seahorses. In the evening all these are lit up and it sure is a pretty sight for some memorable photo takings. The compound is so large that there is even a lake in it where free water-cycling is available. There are also gardens and outdoor exercising corners. All in all, this place exudes a feeling of spaciousness both inside the apartments and their exterior surroundings. Unlike some other establishments where the apartments may be big but have no compound grounds or exterior spaces to speak of. There are also a few swimming pools, a gym, massage facility (though going to the outside massage shops along the next street would be cheaper at 300 bahts/pax) and a restaurant here. Morning breakfast is the usual buffet style and if your accommodation does not includes breakfast you can purchase it at 300 bahts/pax. Now for the cons of this place : As the name suggests, the resort is situated in the Chalong area, which is roughly located at the central-eastern part of Phuket. It is NOT at the western coast where most tourists would usually stay for close proximity to shopping activities, eg. Patong, Karon or Kata. Therefore, do not expect to step out of the resort expecting to see the normal hustle and bustle of shopping activities associated with a Phuket holiday. Make sure you check out the location of the place in Google map first before you are drawn in by the pretty (but accurate) pictures of the resort shown in the website. It is not anywhere near walking distant to the shopping districts or to the beaches. If you are driving (just like we do), then the location is not a problem. Anywhere to the town areas and shopping places like Patong, Karon, Kata, Phuket Town, Central Festival Mall, is only less than half hour away. Being in the Chalong area, the Big Buddha, Wat Chalong, Weekend Night Market, Phuket Sunday Walking Street, Phuket Zoo, Dolphin Bay Show, King Power Mall is just about 15 mins drives away. Furthermore, along the next lane ( Soi Ta-iad) there are many cheap massages shops (eg. good ones like Sabai Sabai & Iyara massage), eating places and many Muay Thai training camps/gyms. On the next main street, Chao Fah Tawan OK road, there are many street side Seafood Buffet, BBQ Buffet, Grilled Seafood Buffet that is very good and affordable. We went to the Pang Kung Moo Kata Seafood Buffet open air restaurant. It is a steamboat cum grilled food dining. The place is mostly frequented by the locals as it is very cheap at 199 bahts per head (excluding drinks - which would be additional 100 bahts for a big bottle of coke and 50 bahts for a bucket of ice. Still very cheap.) Huge spread of all types of meats and seafood. More than one can possibly eat. Servers do not speak much English but they are extremely helpful and friendly. No need to talk much anyway. Just go get yourself whatever you would like to eat. So would I recommend others to the Chalong Miracle Lakeview ? Yes, if they drive or are at least knowledgeable of where they are staying. Would I stay in this resort again ? A BIG YES !!! We always drive when in Phuket, so the location away from town areas is not a problem at all. We visit Phuket almost every year for the last 10 years and have NEVER stayed in any place twice. The Chalong Miracle Lakeview Condotel Resort will be the first that we feel its worthwhile staying again. As a matter of fact, it would very well be our base from now on each time we visit Phuket. For the price of such an accommodation, NO other places in Phuket (those that we had stayed in over the years that is) can beat it in term of value for money !

This was a last minute decision as we needed to be in chalong, the staff looked after us very well. We had a great apartment with great views of the lake and temple. There are a few facilities available such as tandem bikes, pedalos on the lake and there is a restaurant on site. There are several pools and the complex is maintained to high standard, just felt a little lonely at times.

Location - About 30 mins from airport 800 baht taxi. We booked this apartment as is nearby Tiger Muay Thai training camp 1st impression- No real hotel lobby but a low key reception. Own apartment block with security gates entry and parking outside Hotel Ameneties - small bar, 7-11 on site, little cafe, restaurant Staff - Limited english but extremely polite and helpful. My wife left the balcony door open one day and let some bugs in whilst we were out. We called the staff who removed what bugs they found. We asked for a change of room and they obliged. We got moved from block c7 to c2 and the room had the same layout but much better furniture Food - Limited breakfast buffet, lack of cheese, juice and cereals, no yoghurts, no baked beans, disappointment Gym- very small limited gym but we trained at Tiger Muay Thai round the corner so didnt use gym Pool- big excellent pool with waterfall and water squirters with pool bar Restaurant - decent food mainly thai dishes, good if you like seafood Amenities nearby- good choice of restaurants nearby on tiger muay thai road, from o oh on the main road corner to Ali grill further on down the road. Room - very good luxury apartments with balcony. 1 bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower booth. 2nd with shower booth toilet and sink. Very spacious bedroom. Plasma tv, channels limited so bought firestick with netflix and streamed you tube. Samsung Tv will not stream. Utility room with washing machine and living room very spacious with samsung tv and big sofa. Dining table, microwave, cooker, cups plates and kitchen utensils provided. Price - cheaper less quality hotels around but this one was quality and luxurious compared and served the purpose of going to train and gym for us Parking - free outside apartment Overall - we hired moped from tiger muay thai and haggled price and it was their last one. Very cheap and saved us lots on taxi fare. But only get if you are a confident rider the roads are dangerous. Thankfully the drivers are careful and I seen no road rage at all for 2 weeks and there are plenty mopeds around. Best local mall is Central festival Phuket, do not go to king power or the premium outlet. They are both a waste of time. Cheap food on ground floor ship restaurant at the end of the ground floor on central mall. All food and drink on ground floor was cheaper than even markets. I was surprised and it was brilliant quality and fantastic choice Tiger land is a must got to but I felt bad for the tigers :( Excellent quality apartments at a good price depending time of year

We stayed here for 11 nights while training at nearby Tiger Muay Thai. You can walk there in less than 10 minutes. It was a huge one bedroom apartment with a kitchen and two bathrooms. There was even a laundry room with a washing machine. That was great as we were exercising each day that saved us a lot of money. There was a huge balcony, free wifi and daily cleaning. Staff were friendly and the two swimming pools glorious. The only downside was loud music from around the pool on weekend evenings. That didn't go on late but as we were up every day at 5.00am for training we needed early nights and good sleep. We recommend this place and would stay there again.
