Decided to try some place new for Mother's Day lunch. Had heard of The Keepers Arms, but today was the first time to try it out. I honestly can not believe we have never been here before, we have sooooo been missing out! The hubby and myself went for lunch at 1pm. From the time we walked in, we were...

I was passing through Bawnboy enroute to a funeral which I seem to be doing a lot of recently. Is it my age or theirs is the problem. A parent of a friend died and the funeral was local to Bawnboy. We only stopped off for a coffee before heading out to a cold churchyard. We were correct to do...

I stayed here on Saturday night with a couple of friends - we planned to climb nearby Cuilcagh Mountain. Handily located for this and the Cavan Way, the Keepers Arms can add good food and welcoming, friendly service to its attractions. The rooms were warm and cosy, clean and bright. The steak dinner was tender and delicious. All were good...

I've been here before but never reviewed so it's time I did. The Keepers Arms is a typical Irish pub with fabulous accommodation. But more than that Shiela and Brian who own it are the most helpful and accomdating people you will ever meet. Shiela's cooking is to die for a d she doesn't skimp with portions. Brian behind the...

Sheila and Bryan were very helpful and managed to put us in touch with family and we found out loads of useful info. The b&bl was very clean and comfortable, we all slept well in the comfy beds and breakfast...

Really love coming here I have been for years. Nice quiet area with plenty to do in driving distance. Ideal for a weekend of fishing or just having a nice pint in the bar which is well furnished with pool and darts too. Rooms are immaculate and very comfortable and staff and owners are the nicest you could meet.

Stopped in the Keepers Arms bar on Bridge Street for a drink after driving around doing some genealogy research in the area. As Bawnboy is where my Great Grandfather listed as home on his WWI registration card, we figured he may have spent some time there and decided to stop in. We started chatting with Shelia, and she suggested talking...

We took over with a teenage football team and a number of adults. Sheila and her staff could not have done more for us. We were fed, watered and very comfortable in the spacious rooms for a whole weekend. Would recommend to anyone in the area for the great welcome. Thankyou very very much.

Just returned from a great weekend spent at the Keepers Arms. There was 11 of us in our party and nothing was too much trouble for Sheila and the staff. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast perfect and the hospitality the best I have ever known. Will definately be returning in the future.
