Thank you for giving my mother and me a night we will never, ever forget! The casita was lovely, the environment was indescribably lovely, and you made us feel like old friends come back to visit from the moment we arrived. Folks, this is a place you do not want to miss. It is pure magic...your worries just melt away...

Thank you, Juanita and Tony, for making our stay memorable! Tony, we're still talking (months later!) about the delicious octopus salad that you fixed for us! The best we've ever had! The conch also was excellent. But, above all, we'll remember your friendliness. You also set up our visit to the plantation next door. Another great experience touring a working...

We really enjoyed TJ Ranch as a place to stay in late June after a day at some of the local caves and the observatory. We had tried to book a hotel room--all full, so we called this place on a whim, thinking it would be full too, but they booked us on less than a day's notice. Summer is...

We stayed there two nights in late May, mainly to bird the property and surrounding areas with the help of a guide. Our (2 couples) was memorable, and the birding was astonishing. Juanita and Tony were most gracious hosts, the casitas we occupied were very comfortable and clean, and the food was super. Highly recommended for a relaxing time in...

My girlfriend and I luckily last minute booked a room (cabin) at TJ Ranch, and boy, were we surprised! It was a great place! The owners couldn't have been nicer, and it reminded me more of vacations with family in Tahoe than any hotel or resort. The cabins are incredibly clean, as is the on-site "restaurant"--which is really more of...

We found this place listed in Lonely Planet and called them while touring Lago Dos Bocas by boat. Luckily, they had a cabin available for the evening, so we reserved the room and took down the directions (a good idea, since getting there is a bit complicated). After a drive up a twisty mountain road and past some small family...

Stayed at TJ Ranch for Spring Break 2013 and it was such a welcome change from the overpriced resort we stayed at the few days before. A cool retreat up in the hills of Arecibo that's not too hard to reach and totally worth it. I had seclusion and the amazing sounds of the forest, the kids had their pool...

We absolutely enjoyed our four night stay! The scenery, the food and the hospitality was fantastic. Tony and Juanita made us feel at home. They definitely are secluded, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. They were very helpful in the planning of our day trips. We would highly recommend TJ Ranch to other travelers.

We absolutely loved TJ Ranch and Tony and Joan. They are the best hosts, helping to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food is terrific. They encouraged us to roam the property, and my husband found ripe bananas and had to have Tony show him how to harvest them, which Tony obliged his whim. They directed us to places...
