We stayed at Hogs Hollow for 2 nights & from the moment we arrived Carmen & all the staff were very helpful & provided us with great info if the area. The rooms were cosy & had a fire for yourself to light each night. As Our trip was in the South African winter so they even put hot water...

We had an amazing stay whilst on the Garden Route. From the welcome bubbly until our departure we enjoyed every minute of our stay - and would have extended it if possible. Although the temperatures were chilly, after dinner hot water bottles were in the bed and the fire in the room was lit, making it very comfortable inside. The...

We stayed for two nights whilst on the Garden Route. The room we had was really large and comfortable. The bathroom was also large. We had a veranda overlooking a beautiful wooded area. Each room had its own walkway to its own door. The beds were turned down in the evening and a book placed on the pillow for night...

Spent two nights here on our Garden Route tour. Great welcome from friendly staff, lovely rooms, excellent food in really cosy dining room with big communal tables. A big fire to sit round outside for pre dinner drinks. Would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful place with very friendly staff. The cook was amazing, everything that we ate was incredible. Love the long table. The views were breathtaking and the boma and fire place in the room is just what you need on a cold night. A must visit for the Garden Route trip. Very good location.

Spent two nights here, and would have loved to have stayed longer. Fantastic location with views over unspoilt country/forest and really convenient for other attractions nearby (elephants, cheetahs, birds, horse-riding etc). The lodge-room was huge and really comfortable, log fire to relax around with pre-dinner drinks and canapés. The food was very good and the attention to detail incredible -...

The hotel staff were incredible- they were really good with my nephews. Food was delicious and the dining area was great fun. Good hotel for children to meet other children and a nice place for adults to be meet over dinner on the communal table. Hotel was in a great location for activities such as zip lining, the elephant sanctuary...

We stayed here for three nights arriving late afternoon. Our individual lodge-room was large and comfortable containing a king-sized bed, sofa, ensuite bathroom, private balcony overlooking unspoilt forrest, a ready laid wood fire and later that evening we found hot-water-bottles had been inserted into our bed. The evening meal, which could be taken at communal tables or at separate ones,...

Set on the fringe of a hollow, Hog Hollow overlooks the beautiful green countryside. Excellent food (we wished we had eaten there for another night rather than the poor Enricos) at a reasonable price very cheery friendly efficient staff always with a welcome. Drinks around the outside fire and eat either in a group or on your own table. Really...
