The location is very convenient as it is adjacent to Daan Station where two MRT lines intersect. You can get there quickly from Matsuyama Airport without having to transfer. There are not many shops around the hotel, but if you walk a little north for about 5 minutes, you will find a large department store and modern shops. Since it is in the southeast of the city, there are not many tourist attractions nearby except for the high-rise building 101, but as I wrote above, it is a great location for public transportation so you will not have any inconveniences getting anywhere.

The interior of the hotel is not particularly distinctive, but it is modern and clean. The rooms are spacious and the beds and baths are all clean and modern, so there are no flaws or complaints.

The only flaw of this hotel is the breakfast, which is served at an American-style diner in the same building, but there is no Taiwanese menu, only cafe food such as pancakes, and it is expensive.

If you want to eat a local-style breakfast, there are several snack shops for locals next to the hotel, so I recommend using them.

The hotel is conveniently located at the interchange of 2 different metro lines. It is just a few stations from the taipei Zoo and taipei 101.

We took a room with taipei 101 view. It does have a good decent view of taipei 101. The room was clean and comfortable.

We arrived in the morning, way before our check-in time, and they allowed us to check in early. We were pretty impressed by their service. Due to some last-minute booking, we actually had 3 different bookings at this same hotel thru booking agent and directly with the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel had already figured that out and linked all our bookings together. They offered, without us asking, to hold our big pieces of luggage for us on the day that we were travelling out of taipei.

We have been to Taipei a few times on mid range budget, and this is the best hotel we have stayed in so far.

Sure its not located near shopping or happening areas but sometimes you don't really want to? The metro is literally a few steps away from the entrance which can connect you to Ximen or Taipei Main Train Station or Taipei 101 in a few stops. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly including the doorperson and housekeepers. Had a triple room amd it can fit 3 adults comfortably with space to open up our luggages. Toilet is huge with a shower AND a separate bathtub. Would love to stay here again.

We chose this property by default because there was not much else available.

The previous reviews ring quite true, no better, no worse. It is a very functional business style hotel with no extras.

The service was perfunctory and reliable throughout our stay.

As other reviewers have said the most important quality of this property is its location and proximity to public transport. The surrounding neighborhood has all of the services that you would want or require.

The bed is rather on the hard side and I could never get quite comfortable at night. Be sure you understand how to turn out all the lights in the room before it gets late. Somewhat confusing.

It's been 2 years since I last stayed here, and the good news is that this hotel's strong points remain strong. Location is hard to beat, with access to the subway's popular red line just outside the hotel door. (Among other popular destinations, you can catch the red line to get to the metro stop where you switch trains to catch the one that heads to the airport.) The also important brown line is also accessible directly from this spot. In addition, you can easily walk to a number of restaurants, coffee shops (including a Starbux right on the corner), 2 bakeries, a bank or two, and more.

Hotel staff is super friendly, and includes a concierge, one of whom is originally from San Diego. All staff seem to have very good English skills. There is an ample breakfast buffet in the hotel, one I did not avail myself of, so I can't speak to its quality or value, but it's a good bet for those who prefer a Western-style first meal of the day.

Rooms are big enough and equipped with all necessary amenities, including free wifi, free access to HBO, CNN, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera, and 2 or 3 English language movie channels. Housekeeping staff are friendly and efficient, quick to fix your room and replenish the daily supply of 2 free water bottles, 4 or 5 Taiwanese tea bags (includes 2 types of jasmine tea, an oolong tea, and a Ceylon tea), as well as the bathroom supplies (comb/brush, tooth brush, razor, etc). The Japanese bidet is always a treat, and the bathtub while not huge is still bigger than average and a relaxing treat after long walks.

Overall, this place still gets an A in my book.

10 minutes from Matsuyama Airport without transfer. I chose this one because I was attracted by its location in front of exit 6 of Da'an Station. I often used Exit 4 because it goes up and down until I get out to 6, but it is also close. You can see 101 while crossing the pedestrian crossing. It's a little bit outside of the so-called center, but it was a really nice place to go home after all day of playing around in a less cluttered area.

The room was spacious and clean. They prepared new slippers every day. It wasn't on the 101 side, so it was just a pity that the view you could see with the window open wasn't very good, like a back alley.
I heard that there are staff who can speak Japanese, but I couldn't meet them. There was nothing wrong with not being able to talk.

There is a bathtub, separate shower, washlet, and water ◎
We had a full range of amenities and they were replenished.
Bed, linen, towels and bathrobes were also good.

Just on the day I left, a group of Chinese guests came to see me. It wasn't a big hotel, so the front desk was crowded and I was glad I didn't have to bat.

Can't say enough about this assuming hotel in the middle of the city. Six friends, all of whom are seasoned travelers, came to Taiwan for vacation and spent a week at this hotel touring the city.

This isn't a high end hotel with huge chandeliers in the lobby - I see no reason to pay for that. It offers good size rooms, excellent bathrooms, modern conveniences (plenty of outlets and USB ports), good service and cleanliness. And the MRT stop is at the front door so you can get anywhere in the metropolitan area in just a few steps.

You're not in the busiest part of the city, but we found so many great places to eat within walking distance. The Da'an Forest Park and the weekend Jade/Flower Exhibits, two places not popular with tourists, are only 2 blocks away.

The only downside is that the dining room is under renovation, but who eats at the hotel in Taipei?

I stayed at Park Taipei in Nov 2022 for 18 nights. It was one of my best hotel experiences. The staff is very polite and helpful. The location is just super. It's next to the MRT, the bus stop, and a Ubike station. There is also plenty of coffee shops and eating places on Fuxing S. Rd (where the hotel is) sec 1 and sec 2. SOGO and Far East department stores are just one MRT stop away on the MRT brown line. Be sure to check out the small alleys on sec 2 of Fuxing S. Rd for coffee shops and eating places.

The room was just about the right size for me. Very clean, modern, and well-decorated. Although the MRT tracks are visible from the room, I could hardly hear the train which starts running at about 5:30AM.

Will definitely book rooms at Park Taipei again on my future trips to Taipei.

Very centrally located hotel with MTR just outside the main entrance. Close to a few night markets by MTR. Very close to Taipei 101, our hotel room could see the tallest building in Taipei,

The hotel staff were all very good and helpful and effectively bilingual.

Very little food choices around in the morning, Starbucks was around the corner. There in a Swensens restaurant in the hotel which serve all 3 meals daily.

The location is good. It is outside a less popular subway exit. The subways escalators only go up but that is better than none at all.
The room had daily cleaning. The concierge during our stay spoke Chinese, English and Japanese (maybe more).
