Reasonable price. Nice hotel. No breakfast but that okay because surrounding with 7eleven, Familymart and alots. 10 minutes to Taipei 101. 2 minutes to MRT Station. Helpfull staff and they do speak English. No worries.
I selected this hotel because it was a good price and near where I needed to be. For the price, the room is large, and the bathroom with jacuzzi is huge. Location is next to Xinyi Anhe station on the red line. It is also within walking distance of Taipei 101 and the Sun Yat-sen Memorial. There is a small night market nearby. I also had a good view of Taipei 101 from my room. The hotel has no services, just a tiny lobby inside the car park (for the discretion of guests paying by the hour--it's a 'love motel', folks, but also fine for longer term guests.) Breakfast is offered through a neighboring coffee shop. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby. Mostly it was very quiet , except occasionally other room doors slammed shut. There were no extra locks on the room door. The room and bathroom were clean, but the carpet was stained. The carpet in the elevators is very dirty. The towels were thin and shampoo and bath gel in packets. Instant coffee and tea are provided. The AC unit was very loud. One day they did not clean my room, but did offer to clean it when I returned in the evening. For a guest on a budget who wants to have a good sized room, doesn't need extra services, and doesn't mind that the place is a bit quirky, this could be a good choice. I was quite happy with it.…
Good points: The hotel is well located and the price is fair for the location. The metro is very near. The rooms are spacious and we enjoyed the big jacuzzi in the bedroom. We had a confortable stay in the room. Bad points: We really did not appreciate the rudeness and lack of service from the black haired woman receptionist (i precise this, because the blond haired receptionist was sweet and nice). She was rude, refused to help us with a simple request and just kept saying no, no, no. I have never in my whole life experienced such rudeness from a hospitality professional, and I am an expert traveller who is quite tolerant and kind (read my other reviews). She made us feel really uncomfortable and we wouldn’t go back to this hotel because of this. She should follow a training on how to be more welcoming with guests. Also, the hotel has weak wifi and no green policy; the soaps were thrown away every day and the towels changed systematically. It would be better if they were more environmentally friendly and conscious. no opinion about the breakfast, it wasnt included so we didn’t have it. Even if not included, there is still a possibility. Looked good. …
Close to the subway station, very convenient. There’s a carpark for those driving or riding. I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the room very much. The room is spacious and clean. The only concern is that the lobby entrance is located inside the carpark, you might not see it from the outside. Would love to be back again!
