Stayed there with my parents when we visited Taipei many years ago and service was good. Thought I would choose this hotel again when I go to Taipei with my own child. However, given the level of service we experienced, it was definitely not a wide choice. We arrived in our own car with lots of baggages. My husband had to unload all our baggages without any help from thé hôtel staff. And when thé hôtel staff finally came to us, it was to ask my husband to drive the car away so as not to occupy the drop off area. He also directed my husband to the car park without giving clear instructions. My husband ended up getting locked in a wrong car park for half an hour and he parked in a nearby carpark in the end. While my husband was taking the car to the car park, my boy and I proceeded to check in at the front desk. I was carrying two large bags in one hand while trying to hold onto my super active toddler with my other hand. When we were in the middle of the check in process, my boy suddenly decided he would like to run to the other side of the lobby. I held onto him tight but he kept pulling me. There were two hôtel staff at the check in desk handling our case, a man and a woman. Not only did they not offer any help, but the man also kept demanding an answer to his question, despite seeing that I was obviously at my wits end trying to calm my boy down. Room was spacious with a nice view. However, we found lots of hair around the room which was a bit worrying especially during the time of a pandemic. We requested for a crib in advance but was informed that it was not available which was okay as we were only staying for one night. I asked for a stool for my boy to reach the wash basin and it was delivered speedily. The housekeeping staff who delivered the stool was also most helpful in helping us check when our baggages would be delivered. She was the reason I gave a rating of 3 instead of 2. Overall speaking, the service provided by the entrance and front desk staff is definitely not something you would expect in a so-called 5 star hotel. Would probably choose another place to stay in future.

Hotel's Favourite
Very interesting stay. My first stay at this property, had a really great initial impression of the hotel was wonderful~ Sophia Chuang greeted me with the the utmost professionalism, recognized me as Titanium Elite and referee me to the executive lounge to check in where Elle Guo provided wonderful checking in service while Angela Chang helped me to reserve my pool hours with my 7?year old son and reserved for the happy hour at the executive lounge for me. However this is when things got interesting, I was informed of the no children under 12 in the executive lounge policy, and when I asked why, I was informed because there’s alcohol served in the lounge… now, I understand the ladies were simply enforcing the rules which was implemented by the ignorant executive chef and management/owner team with that God Awful excuse, because kids 12-18 are not allowed to have alcohol either, and being a Titanium elite member, we have been to countless Marriott properties and their executive lounges and never have we had to deal with such issue. However, Sophia, the manager on duty resolved the issue with some of the most amazing room service food for my son and I to rectify that situation, that sure was some great crisis management by Sophia and was much appreciated. Other than that interesting incident, the rest of our staycation was wonderful, the staff was great, breakfast buffet was nice, the pool was amazing~ will definitely visit again~ I just hope they really would be as family friendly as advertised, and the management really have to do away with discriminating against children.

This Sheraton has a very nice executive lounge. Its location is also very good. It is very close to the subway station. The bus stations are right in front of the hotel as well to help you easily take a bus ride if you would like to try to hang around like the locals.

1st of 15 days and there was a Mosquito buzzing around and biting me all night. I turned on all the lights and finally managed to swat it at 4+am! Now to try and get 2 hours of sleep before an important day and hope that there will be less mosquitos the rest of 14 days...

Right above Taipei's highly rated MRT Subway station with many restaurants (including a 2 star Michelin Star rated Chinese restaurant) and other dinning selections. Their breakfast buffet restaurant is a must try experience with over 50 items. The best part of my stay is their guest service culture. From front desk (thank you Sophia, Kelvin) to Executive lounge staff (Racheal, Iris, just to name a few), as well as the housekeeping staff, all did a wonderful job making my stay a memorable one. By far the best Sheraton I have ever stayed at.

這次入住終於有幸體驗到較大的房型,也許是有幸在生日這天入住,第一次在台北喜來登看到完整的沙發(笑),而且應該是邊間的關係,view和採光是住這麼多次以來覺得最好的!真的非常高興這次能選擇台北喜來登作為慶生行程的其中一站,確實留下了一次很棒的回憶<3 I thought Sheraton Grand Taipei don't give members best upgrade cause they are always full all the time. But today I realized it's just because I didn't pay or dedicated enough. So at the day of my birthday, I finally visit there bigger room once(but still not suite),so if you want a better upgrade, just come visit more or book a room on big day.

Used to stay in Sheraton on and off. Service quality is also up and down. This time spend 2 days in Sheraton for my birthday. Lobby was occupied so I moved to lounge for check in. A Japanese lounge staff checked me in. Was upgraded to an executive floor at 16. Room was ok but there was a low frequency sound started later that night and keeping for the rest of the stay I’m in that room. I tot there is machine room next door but as per the staff there wasn’t. The room window is literally vibrating too. Can’t sleep at all that night. Since the bed is connected to the wall and the wall and window is vibrating. Call the duty manager at midnight and was told that the sound is normal wind cut sound. If the sound is too loud that impacting people sleeping the duty manager should do something but he didn’t. A big warning to people who need quite sleep. The next day I called again and they agreed to switch me to another room and the room was absolutely fine. Upon checking in, lounge staff wished me birthday and saying to send a cake to the room which don’t show up. Next day my friend asked again if there is cake and I got 2 in the picture. =)

Have stayed here many times and the location is great. There are many local food shops and convenient stores around the hotel. The bed quality is good, but the bathroom is somehow old. The breakfast is great and there are many choices for starting a refreshing day. The room cleaning staff are all nice and very wam.

I returned to the hotel and was always delighted about their constant great service. I was checked in by Mr. Joe on the first floor, and it was a joyful experience checking in (and he was very professional, too). Was greeted by lounge staff Iris and Talen, there's another lady who I cannot remember the name (Emily?), all of them are also so helpful and friendly. I even encountered house keeping staff Mei Shu and she was just very very warm, she even gave me two more of turn-down chocolate when she learned I really like them. She was just so nice.
