If you are looking for a remote location with virtually no one but a full staff of service, gourmet dining and some of the best soft and hard coral diving ANYWHERE in the world, this may just be your spot. Charming owners, only 5 rooms, and all new diving euipment as well as boat. Who could ask for more. Be...

Thank you so much for your highly positive feedback. We are delighted that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay, food and the superb diving with our in-house PADI accredited dive operation. Although hiring a car at Tacloban airport can be a good option for people who want to have the use of a vehicle for the duration of their stay, and...

Who would expect to find a paradise like this on a rural town in Southern Leyte. Even though the trip from Tacloban going down to Padre Burgos was very long and tiring, every ounce of fatigue would be swept away once you arrive to this hidden paradise. Very scenic, very serene, very peaceful. Good affordable pricing, excellent service as well...

After them finding Padre Burgos on trip advisor for our honeymoon... we've had nothing but amazing service! From Singapore airlines losing our luggage, they helped reunite us with it after two days which was amazing! Delia drove to the port to pick up our three cases including our diving kit!!!! Thank you very much for staying with us and for your feedback. We are delighted that you enjoyed your diving and your stay so much – despite the woes of delayed baggage. There’s no getting away from the fact that it is a long way from London to Padre Burgos (part of the appeal?) and our own journey this June...

Gorgeous layout and great local weekend getaway. Wonderful meals! But not the place to go for diving or whale shark watching. Manager was very defensive regarding feedback, and dive operations are so undertrained that I would never support friends or family diving there in the future.

Unfortunately we don’t know who you are and your comments are so general that it is difficult to provide specific feedback, let alone improve on any shortcomings. As guests who have stayed here know, we are not a resort frequented by ‘locals’ nor a ‘weekend getaway’ and we don’t have a ‘manager’, but manage the daily operations directly ourselves. Nonetheless,...

We went to the Castle for a few days of rest and relaxation. From the moment we arrived at the front gate, we knew we were somewhere special. It was pouring with rain, we arrived soaking wet, the girls met us at the gate, made us feel instantly at home. We received a welcome drink and helped with our things....

For us, it is still the most fantastic spot in the Philippines, at the tip of a peninsula, overlooking the beautiful hotel beach and Sogod-bay, with picturesque cliffs and rocks, the wonderful sea for excellent snorkeling, the flying foxes at night and the romantic moon rise in deep orange from the sea, creating a trail straight to the resort. We went here to swim with the whale sharks primarily but they were gone by the time we got there (had booked months before).
