Booked the room online, and as always booked a double bed... I am with my partner!. Very easy to find hotel, dedicated elevators serve the hotel..... As it's in a multi use building. We arrived early and took a chance for early check-in, but unfortunately not available. Upon check in, we confirmed the double bed.... Got to the room, and find 2 single beds... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Asked reception, to only get response... So sorry no doubles available. About to loose the plot, when partner says it's OK..... No offer of discount! Now the room is extremely clean, basic supplies in the bathroom. Large room, with decent street view. The beds were comfortable. Easy access to nanjing fuxing station exit 2. 2 minute walk. Now, as we had been in and out during the day, nothing seemed out of place! But we came back around 10:30pm got out of tge elevator to what smells like wet dogs. Apart from that the hotel was good …
Effortlessly check in and check out! Room is daily replenished with the necessities. Basic packing n sweeping. All good. Spacious room! Level 2 to 9 Is office floors, 10 to 15 is hotel. Only con, the walk is rather thin. Can hear next room’s laughter or when they speak loudly!
We stayed here for 2 nights. Check-in was quick and effortlessly done. The room and bathroom were clean. Aircon were strong and bed were comfy. Self - Service laundry available on the 15th floor. The hotel is well located. Convenient store just below hotel and MRT station just few mins walk. Taxi available along the road. Overall stay was ok.
Stayed at this hotel during the US Thanksgiving with my office mates. The hotel is situated near the train station, convenience stores and fast food restos. They have a clean, updated and spacious rooms. Friendly and accommodating staff I hope that they can improve on the following: 1. WIFI connection 2. Buffet breakfast (selections) Over-all, I am happy with FX Hotel!
Stayed here for 10 days from 3-13 Dec 2019. Staff were attentive and displayed the usual Taiwanese hospitality. Rooms were big and always cleanly tidied. Excellent location if you like a quiet area away from the bustle of Ximending yet within a stone's throw of a few MRT stops. Quite accessible from the airport too.
We stayed 4 nights at this hotel in Nov. Welcoming staff at reception are friendly and helpful. Donna booked a 6 hr. Private driver tour for us and provided attraction and subway guide which were great help to us as a 1st time visitors. Hotel is located at business area but is closed proximity to street foods and shops and 4 min walk to subway station. Buffet breakfast provided with good selections of hot and cold dishes except some hot food were cold as the heating stoves were off. Day 1, the restaurant was not organised due to new staff, unclean tables, empty food trays, coffee pot. Day 2 is much organised as Cindy Li, Supervisor is on duty. Hotel room is clean and quiet with comfortable bed. No lotion provided. You need to check the door lock before you leave your room as the timer is out sometime. You don't need to tap your room key on the elevator, which I found very unsecure.…
Had a great experience at the FX hotel in Taipei. The service staff Vincent Lai was very helpful and help to locate my son missing blanket which he keep since a baby which meant a lot to us! Majority of the staff had a great service attitude and kudos to be Housekeeping team for making our stay clean and pleasant! Will be back again to stay at this great hotel! Great location and good shopping around!
Hotel is a 7min walk from the nearest train station. There are also bus stops right across the hotel, allowing for easy transit to places like taipei101 or Ximen area. My family mainly Uber’d around Taipei, which was super convenient. We arrived around 12am and the staff was quick with check-in. Room was clean and decent, complimentary bottled water replenished daily. 2 cons: 1. There were limited choices in breakfast. 2. Our room faced the main streets so it got a bit noisy during the early morning hours. Overall, the hotel was great and I would stay here next time I visit.
As usual, my wife and I got a discount deal for staying during the weekend at Taipei - our first time at FX Hotel. Upon arrival, it felt quite odd that reception was a small desk located inside the restaurant (apparently they are not using the big reception fronk desk right outside the restaurant - although I could not see anything wrong with it). Now, the stay was relatively acceptable but I do have more complaints than compliments. Here are my top 3: 1. They need to change/wash their bed sheets and pillow case; they either have a bunch of holes or they get your skin all itchy and at the worse give you some pimples (I got some around my neck). 2. They need to upgrade their hardware, I mean which modern level hotel doesn't have USB plugs? I had to give a 200 NTD deposit and pick up a plug myself from front desk. 3. Although I do respect each hotel's policy, this is the first time I got denied a late check-out, which in my experience, it's an one hour allowance (they did offer me the opportunity to extend my stay one more hour from 12 to 1 pm for 500 NTD - which I did not accept). Their reason was "it's weekend", it was Sunday and from the logical point of view tourist hotels do not have peak days from Sunday to Thursday. So overall the stay was acceptable but I ended with a bad experience.…
Our first trip to Taiwan and we were a little worried in case this FX hotel was different to its website brochure - we had no need to be worried the hotel met and exceeded our expectations! The room was clean and comfortable with an excellent ensuite bathroom well stocked with essentials. A refrigerator was handy to chill drinks (complimentary bottled water provided daily). Located within a 5 minute walk of the super efficient metro system it made for easy access to all that Taipei has to offer. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful almost all spoke English (Bonus!).
