The room we occupy was excellent. Very clean and the staffs are very kind and helpful. Foods were very delicious. If I will go back to Taiwan I will still choose this hotel. The hotel is near MRT station and there are nearby convenience store and pharmacy.
Location: Walking distance to train station and bus stop. Room: Bathroom and room is clean but the room's soundproof is really bad. I can even hear the next door guest open door and walking sound. The make up room team is really quick, when i back from breakfast the room is done cleaning. Breakfast: Taiwan local dishes is provided, most of the dishes is repetitive. They did not take away the foods even it's passed the breakfast time as there are guest still sitting at there. Others: There is a pool table, massage chair and a common couch area to hang out. And it's completely FREE
We stayed for 4 nights. Pros: Near the train station. Rate includes free breakfast. You can borrow steamer for your clothes. Can store luggage. People in the front desk can speak and understand English. With elevator. Cons: I can't think of any. For the price I paid, this hotel gave me so much more.
Hotel with lift. Good Buffet Breakfast and just mins away from subways station. Good eats around hotel. Was there from 24 to 27 Oct 2019 and my room 220 was really clean. The downside is check in is after 5pm...... Anyway I be back for sure. Thanks. Note: you can take airport bus 1841 for 93 TWD one way to hotel, or contact hotel fro private car pick up for 1200 TWD.
Rooms, baths, facilities are kept cleaned and well-maintained. Buffet breakfast is awesome. The hostel is a 5-min walk to Zhongshan Elementary School MRT entrance/exit 3. Worth the price! The place to be when you are in Taipei.
My first time to stay in a dormitory type of hotel on my first solo trip.HOTEL FUN is 10/10. I'd give it more than 10 if possible. The place is very clean and amenities are awesome.FREE BUFFET BREAKFAST wc serves from 7-10am with food enough for everybody and tastes good. Our room was so clean.orange train station is just by the corner
Would give a zero star if I could. We stayed in double room for 5 nights. This place is too expensive for their (non existing) service. Take one of the incidents as example, we asked for a dinner RECOMMENDATION and the staff just threw us a map for DIRECTION (ya like we don’t already have Google maps). I clarified asking what she thinks is good to try? To that she replied ‘up to you’ with a ‘I just want to end this conversation so that I can continue watching my drama face’. Room is definitely smaller than they advertised on Agoda. Only good thing is clean. Quality of the breakfast varied from dunno-what-to-eat to quite-good-I-need-more. Menu changes everyday so it kinda depends on your luck. Reviews and photos on Agoda do not represent the truth. And if you check, those 1 star reviews on Google are very similar —> their staff that doesn’t know stuff. =( Not recommended for their price point. Would recommend to go for Airbnb/much cheaper homestay if you’re on budget, or a professional hotel if you want to be welcomed by smiley faces. Your money is better spent elsewhere.…
2nd time to stay here. Had stayed with friends, then with family and on another night as a solo traveller. Had tried their dorm room. I say great value for money because twin and double room is only USD38 to 48 and that includes good breakfast. Breakfast starts 7am so you shouldn't book any tour too early if you'd like to have it before going. Rooms are small but it's rather inexpensive that's why. I don't intend to stay again in the dorm type rooms because I had been to much better ones but for the twin rooms etc. I find them okay and I find amenities a good addition. They have massage chairs guests enjoy though one already needs replacing. They billiard table and staff are not very friendly but they accommodate you as needed. The hotel is next to Poya Department store that has a lot of stuff that you might want including Taiwanese cosmetics and food that you might want to bring home as presents. Not a busy place like Ximending but you just have to explore to find there are lots of good places for dining, for coffee and milk tea. There are local parks nearby with exercise equipments if you woke early and want to exercise.I like that it's a commercial area but not really crowded. Don't look for too much for paying only USD38 to USD45 per night. Some rooms have no window but this is not uncommon and that is immediately visible in the room description anyway so make sure you book one with window if you can't stand one without.…
Stayed a week here recently across two dates. The building is long and is away from street noise. I was able to sleep well in their double room, which is only the size of a car park. No extra chair, no space for 2 suitcases. Things in the room controlled by phone. One night I had a very bad night girls laughing in their room till after 4am. I was able to call their phone and tell them be quiet. So the walls are thin even in the double rooms. Location 4 minute to 7/11, 8 minute to Mcdonalds, 4 minute walk to train entrance. Nice smell inside and air conditioning. Check in time not amazing, I came 30minutes early and they made me wait till check in time for the room even though many were empty and the room was ready. Internet OK, but not secure. Free massage chairs but controls are in chinese, free washing and drying but dry machines very small. Mattress was soft. Pillows good. Left my luggage by the front desk for the day and it was safe. Breakfast no western options all a bit weird for me.…
1. Well ventilated. 2. Receptionists are friendly and can speak/understand English. 3. They have laundry area (I haven’t tried though) but there were enough automatic laundry machines. 4. Near MTR - Zhongshan Elementary school Exit 2. 5. Free Massage Chairs 6. Free cold water 7. Good Wi-Fi connection- connected everywhere. 8. Clean toilet and bathrooms *Breakfast can be improved though - they have very limited breakfast options.
