This hotel is a gem tucked back in the streets of Ximending. The hotel can easily be accessed by MRT , taxi from Taoyuan Airport Express. Check-in was quick, breakfast tastes good and somehow varied per day , two bottles os water for the guests snacks are free for all at certain times. Room size was just right same with the bathroom , water temperature was just right. Check-out was easy as well and getting a cab was easy. I only wished they have a safety box in the room. Over all , I had a great time in this hotel and would definitely come back again ! Thanks to the staff from the front desk to the cook and staff at the dining area.

Mr. Nick the chef who prepares the breakfast is excellent .I was talking to him and he told me he's lived and worked in other countries and I suspect that's why his food taste super good . I would eat there all day but i have to see the beautiful city of Taipei .

Cons: 1. Room size and facility is extremely different from photos provided by the host -We ordered a luxury room for two. However, we found out that the room was extremely different from what we have found in booking.com. -The first 1-3 photo were the photo provided by the hotel and the photo afterwards were the photos taken by us. -In booking.com,it stated that we could provide a room with window. And able to see the city view.Yet, it turned out that there is no window in our room. -And the room was much smaller than what it was shown(the size difference was much clear when you look at their toilet.) I can even sit on the toilet seat as the toilet is too small. -Besides,we could observe a lot of dirty area in the toilet. - We called the staff to ask if we are given the wrong room as the room was extremely different from what we were shown on booking.com. Yet, the staff explained that they were unable to put all the actual photos on the website....I could accept if there is a minor different... but it turned out it wasn’t... This place was a little hard to find although some research and a street view on Google Maps will go along way especially when the taxi is close but he is not sure he is. The set up here in Taipei is strange but not a real problem. Many small hotels like this one are located on several floors of what seems to be a regular apartment building. In this case it was the top 3 floors which meant full access to the rooftop garden and sitting area. Good for smokers or non smokers like us who just enjoyed the fresher air than street level and the views to. As this was also accessed from the dining area you could sit here and have breakfast or some takeaway you brought back to the hotel. The breakfast is good although variety is not a feature but it does the job and is better than many other similar ones offered at similar standard hotels, what is different is after it’s finished they set the room up with snacks and the all day coffee and drinks, this is great and open till really late. You get a choice of many different instant noodle cups also which go great for lunch with the dumplings from next door. The hotel reception is located on the 8th floor and you basically walk into in as you leave the lift. Your room access card is required to get to the next floor but otherwise the walk ramp up was available too. The rooms are small but not compared to similar priced here and also in Hong Kong. They are about the same this said there is not much room for suitcases but be inventive and you will be ok. The good thing is they are new and well appointed with good size bathroom and shower. New FHD TV and beds with quality linen. Also handy is the snaUnfortunately we left our booking late and were only able to get a room with no window, this was not a problem for me but my wife got claustrophobic a few time and had to get out and up to the rooftop for air. The location was perfect right in the center of all the action, shopping and also MRT station plus countless eateries and cinemas. Great place but take a room with a window.…

The location is good for go around Ximending area, but the inside room was so quiet. The room is cosy and cute funitures and so useful amenities. BIg bed with many pillows made me relax. The breakfast is good with bread, rice, vegitable, fruits.... And the most good thing is the cost performance I think! I love to stay in this hotel again!

Difficult to find, it is situated on the 8th floor. Starting to date, bathroom fixtures falling apart, the actual shower fixture was leaking badly, even the toilet holder was rusting. The rooms are not made for large people, very tight but ok. The bed spread and chair were badly stained although the bed sheets were spotless and clean. The bedspread put me off everytime I saw the bed made up. My view out the window was of a dirty old towel on the roof below and windows opposite. A bit far from nearest train station for older people, but those who like to walk, an easy 10 minutes. The area is very expensive as it is the area for young ones to meet. No supermarket nearby, just use the Seven eleven stores. Breakfast is very simple and western, not worth the cost of the room. The street noise is very light, but the room aircon noise is very loud, takes a night to get use to it. If the owner can spend some money, this would be worth the cost, but at this stage it is slightly overpriced. …

Highly recommended for travellers on a budget. Great location for shopping, 10mins walk to MRT station, more restaurants around the area. Only TWD100 from Taipei main station if you take a cab. Accessible to all kinds of transportaion

NIce hotel located in Ximending area , just 10 minutes walk from MRT station. Around shops, stores and restaurants with big variety of prices. Rooms quite comfortable , however carpets need some cleaning. We had a chance to sleep in superior and delux room so to be honest superior rooms were a bit more comfortable and bigger. Bathrooms ok. Breakfast very tasty served on 9th floor with nice terrace outside :) . Breakfasts served by lovely and very friendly Lady :) Only one thing made us a bit confused when hotel wanted to charge us for towels when after check out , in the evening before longhaul flight back to home we wanted to take just a short shower after full day sightseeing....strange a bit and for the first time I noticed such behaviour...

Location is good, around the ximending shopping area. Totally enjoyed my stay here. Breakfast can be improved with more choices. Room is just the right size for a couple to stay in. Shower is great. Great experience indeed.
