This hotel is just at the edge of the Ximending with food and shopping ard. Rooms are clean but not so easy access for some people. It’s at level 8 with lift but if you got a room at level 7, you need to walk down the stairs. At least the staff there are helpful and help us to carry our luggage down. Rooms are clean and bright.

If you want to stay in Ximendeng, this is the place you should book. It’s a bit difficult to find, so make sure you look for the signs for which building to enter. In Asia, it’s very common for hotels to be located in retail spaces where the lobby is not located on the ground floor, but instead in a different or higher floor. The lobby is located on floor 8 and they have signs in the elevator posted next to the buttons. Even with the differences don’t be dissuaded because for a boutique hotel, they have reasonable rates and the rooms are very spacious. With my family and I traveling for 2+ weeks, we often overpack and the room was big enough to accommodate our luggage and yet be comfortable for us to relax in when we were in between shopping trips. The staff is superb and nice, greeting us every time we passed the front desk. If you need anything additional for the room, they get it for you right away and you don’t have to wait a long time for someone to show up 30 minutes later. The front desk manager Michael is great and helpful! He was definitely one of the bonuses to our stay! …

Staffs were friendly. Room was considered clean. Hotel seems abit dim at the hallway but not much of an issue. Slightly overpriced but probably due to holiday season. Breakfast was fine. Located right behind ah zhong mianxian. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Hotel location was the best in the heart of the shopping district. Streets were always busy at night. MRT was close by. 7 Eleven was everywhere. Street food for muslim was just at the back lane. Was there for 3 days 2 nights. Breakfast for non muslim had a choice of 2 fast food and 1 traditional Taiwan breakfast. For muslims, breakfast was catered and sent to us. ( Think the arrangement was done by travel agent) Room was not big but adequate for 2 of us. The only lift that stops at the hotel lobby is 8th floor. Our room was on the 7th so had to carry luggage down. Nothing fantastic but average for our group which only uses the hotel to sleep. 9th floor was the disco or music lounge but it didn't affect us much as we were on 7th but could be quite loud till we can hear from our rooms.…

I picked this mainly because of its proximity to a busy area with food, shopping, entertainment everywhere and all within stone throw away from the subway station as well. The closest exit from the Ximen station is #6. Check in was a breeze and initially I was afraid as it was kinda noisy, those noises would always go away by 8pm so they never bothered me during the night. Room has spacious bathroom with rain shower head. Room was clean and the blankets were soft and clean. The hotel location is so close to the Ximen tourist area with so much to see that I could spend all day in the neighborhood. I definitely recommend this to someone that don’t want to spend too much and be close to everything. The only caveat that needs some improvements are the elevator lobby on the first floor albeit is shared and not the property of the hotel can be fixed up a bit. We booked this hotel based on good review in Agoda. The location of this hotel is excellent right at the busiest shopping street at Ximending and less than 5 mins walk to Ximen MRT. There are many eateries around and some of them are Ah Chung Vermicelli (3 mins walk) and the Taoyuan Street Beef Noodle (15 mins walk), etc. Just to mention two. Hotel provided the necessary toiletries for wash up and dental hygiene. Hotel is very clean and front desk staff are helpful and friendly. The only setback is that there is a dance studio at 9th floor where the hotel is located at 8th floor. Hence, there are loud music between 1pm till 10pm during the dance classes. But it was a small problem for us as we usually sleep after 10pm. Practical hotel that is less expensive with convenient location and friendly staff, plus clean room with good maintenance. …

Hotel location at level 8. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was average and nothing special. In the morning from 10am till 10pm-if you are staying at the level 8floor, you can hear loud dancing music from the level 9 dancing studio. Good about this hotel is the location if not nothing else to comment about.

3 Min walking from Ximen Mrt Very convenient as it is within Ximending. You can move around Ximending at ease. Just beside ah zong mien Xian. You can have the mien xian without queuing. Clean and cosy hotel. Very comfortable. Value for money. Will definitely book again if I am in Taipei again.

I originally did not booked this place but was offer an "upgrade" due to some room issue from the hotel which is 3 mins walk away. The entrance of the hotel will not give you a feeling that is going to a hotel but when you reach the floor then is a different thing. The room is clean, bright and new. reasonable size good enough for 2 person. Right at Ximen Ding area, what else can you ask for. You have all the shops, eatery and MRT, happening event there. Right below this building there is a few eatery that sounds rather good. I would suggest you try this out if it meet your budget and requirement.
