This hotel is clean and within easy access of the metro, but the outstanding thing for us was the huge buffet breakfast area. Must have seat over 100 and offers Asia as well as western food choices. Our only complaint was the coffee. The room, although not large, was very modern with a great bathroom including heated toilet seat.
Hotel staff was real friendly. Due to the virus outbreak, every entry temperature will be taken. Room is bigger than what I expected. One suggestions: Trash bin can be bigger. Too small after supper etc...There is quite a handful of 早餐店。MRT is less than 5 mins walk
Last min booking at midnight as I was staying at another hotel but the pillow is too uncomfortable. Took the risk and book this hotel at midnight. Arrived in 30mins and hotel can't find my booking. Needed to wait awhile at the lobby. Room is decent and modern design. Space is well used too. Nothing to fault. Stayed 1 night. Booked another night 1 week later. This time driving. Realise the carpark is so inconvenient. It is across the road. No valet services too. When I came back at 1am, I'm allowed to park at the main entrance but the keys have to be left with the staff. As I'm walking in the lobby towards the lift. I heard my keys being thrown on the table, echoing loudly. Too tired to make a fuss out of it but it did left me with a bad impression of the service standard. Making me think twice if I'm going to stay here on my next trip.…
They use the space so efficiently that you don't find the room to be small in fact. It was neat and concise. The breakfast sections were great! Worth every money to stay here. The location is also convenient towards the mrt and don't forget if its not summer, head to the da wei jiang mu ya hotpot @ginger female duck hotpot, opposite wan hua Station. Its pack with locals over the weekend but the food is great!
This is a newer hotel built in the old Taipei neighborhoods. Located 2 blocks from Longshan Temple and the Huaxi night market. Train station is next door, right around the corner from the hotel entrance. The train station is only 1 stop from Taipei main station. 7-11 and Family Mart is only a block away. MRT station is right next door to Longshan temple. I would rate this as a decent 3 1/2 to 4 star hotel. The buffet area is excellent with a decent range of dishes for breakfast. The hotel room is nicely equipped with a refrigerator containing 2 cans of sodas. 2 bottled waters is also supplied and restocked daily. There is an exercise room available. Many foreigners (Japanese, Koreans, Americans) use this hotel as a home base for travel. The main negative and the reason for my 3 1/2 - 4 star ranking is because the solo rooms are very small. Didn't help that some couples in my tour group were given the same room so it was very small and uncomfortable for the 2 of them. I expected better qualify of service from a 4 - 5 star hotel.…
Close to night market, Close to famous temple, close to shops, walking distance to Taiwanease restaurents! Very helpful staff!Rooms were clean. Bit far from city but stations are closeby. Convienence stores like 7 11 very close to the hotel!
Stayed there for 3 nights. The shower drain blocked and I reported to the front desk the next morning. They promised to have it fixed while I was away during the day, but found it as-is that night. Made another complaint on the 3rd morning and the staff promised the same. On the 3rd night they left me a letter under the door saying that they can't fix it and offered me another room. Don't bother! It was my final night with an early flight! Also, the hotel bar advertised that their beef noodle as 1 of the best in town. I regret that I ordered one.
nice staff, great location, lot of choice in Breakfast Buffet Price competitive a night market nearby about 5 min walk, not in the centre of city but 2 station from Taipei station. A railway station just downstair
We stayed here during the Chinese New year holiday. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Situated right next to transportation and very close to the Longshan temple. We found location to be very easy to navigate to and from. Right next to a 7-eleven. We had a lovely view room on the 20th floor. There were two types of elevators, those going up to just the 20th floor and then another set that went higher. It seemed the people with higher level rooms did wait longer for the elevators. We never had trouble and still had a great view. The staff was what made this an excellent stay. King, the concierge went above and beyond what we have ever experienced in service from a hotel anywhere in the world. He helped us in ordering and getting our dinner, after finding out how long the delivery wait would be, he personally picked up our food and brought it to our room. We were amazed at his kindness, it made all the difference in our stay in Taipei.…
Stay 2 nights at this hotel and found that it´s very popular to Koreans and Japanese, downstairs is WanHua train station, Long Shan temple MRT is just few blocks away so makes the location very convenience. Night markets and lots of local eateries nearby. swimming pool is closed due to winter season, gym room is quite small still can work out. Decent room size, comfy bed, good design of seperate toliet and bath/shower room, good water pressure, clean and tidy room with kettle, coffee, tea, free water bottles ,snacks and two cans of soft drinks each day. Breakfast buffet is huge but food quality is so so, i recommend not to take breakfast plan if you stay more than two nights, coz it´s almost the same everyday and it run out of food if you come down late. Cleaners are polite they greet us everytime we passed by. I`d love to come back if i visit Taipei next time.…
