we stumbled across this B&B and made a very last minute decision to reserve a night and upon checking in we were all pleasantly surprised how children friendly the entire village house is - spacious with lots of toys and we did not have to worry much about our children bothering others. Unfortunately due to the cooler weather it’s outdoor kids pool was not in use but from reading commentaries from other previous guests the kids pool has been very popular.
You must get here by car as everywhere nearby can only get to by self drive and not easy to hail taxi.
The B&B also provides you bicycles that allows parents to carry kids at the back for a leisure city tour, when the weather permits.
Mostly we enjoyed staying here very much as all amenities are child friendly, even the lobby has a nice kids play area that can keep toddlers entertained. Rural location brings the families away from the busy city life and able to recharge here in the farm fields. Speaking of which - the B&B is surrounded by rice fields.

Nice building & environment which allowed us feel relaxed. Owners politely stayed at a distance so that we felt free and relaxed at the building, and yet they're very helpful whenever help was needed. They went extra mile to create the experience! For example, they helped take pictures for each family and printed out as a gift when we checked out! Super kids friendly! There's an indoor play area right next to the reception. Plenty of parenting and story books. There was a small slide in each bedroom and story books for kids too. Bathing toys and amenities were ready in the bathroom! They have an outdoor pool with floating boats for kids to play! Kids could also have fun blowing bubbles or feeding fish! We totally felt it was too short to just stay one night! Kids didn't want to go home!

Highly recommended place to stay when you are at Yilan!!
The hosts are very friendly and helpful! We booked the whole minsu for ourselves, the young & old ones enjoyed the stay so much. They have 2 bigger rooms with small kids playarea in the room, they also have 2 smaller rooms which is suitable for couples. So it is really good for families or couples.
The breakfast prepared by the host is wonderful! The extra effort to prepare the special breakfast for the kids are greatly appreciated!
we will be back here again, because the memories are just so wonderful. really highly recommended!

Traveling with seven friends, on a motorcycle trip across Taiwan we booked the whole property and we were absolutely thrilled with this B&B! The rooms are very large (like 300-400 soft) and were super clean with super nice baths (larger rooms have 2 showers) and very very kid friendly. The place was very much family friendly with every room having a beautiful little play area for kids plus another larger play area downstairs in the main reception/dining room. As we were all celebrating our 50th birthdays that was lost on us but it didn’t detract from the experience at all. The service was excellent and the breakfast was superb. We are all westerners but the food would be good anywhere in the world. You won’t be disappointed at all. Thanks!
Tip: Bring bug juice, you are situated in rice paddies.
