Stayed here for a few nights while exploring Taipei. The hotels decor is a little strange but well maintained and super clean. The open bathroom layout wasn’t to our taste but fine. The breakfast was below average but then seemed understaffed that day. Maybe not representative. If your planning on exploring the city the location can’t be beat. 5/10 minutes walk from the airport transfer station, another main subway stop and the Jiu Fen bus stop.
コンシェルジュが完璧すぎて心温まる癒しの旅になりました!THE BEST CONCIERGE IN THE WORLD!! I’ve traveled in more than 30 countries but this hotel has the best concierge I’ve ever met!! Ken and Mike, the two sweetest, nicest, kindest and the best concierge, made our stay in Taiwan the most memorable stay in life. If you ask them for one piece of information, they will give you perfect sets of recommendations and more, which never makes you disappointed. Even if you don’t ask them, they see your needs and provide what you need that you never expected. We followed all their recommendations and we have not even a single piece of regret or feeling of disappointment. It really warmed our heart when Mike gave us a little note with the restaurant name spelled in Taiwanese in case we get lost on the way, even though the place was next door. His thoughtfulness was way beyond our expectations! We could easily imagine his kindness comes from his real beautiful personalities and his supervisor is treasuring it. The way they behave is also so smart, so royal that they looked like princes to us. We will definitely come back with our family/friends and everyone. Thank you Ken and Mike for such wonderful heartwarming time!! You saved me out of depressing life by giving me hope that there are truly innocent people out there in the world!! …
As many of us (15) all Asian , Chinese , Japanese waiting to be seated for breakfast. Two white gentlemen ( not together) play stupid just cut the line and walk right though the door. Even the host stop them they just gave them the room number . It was such disgusting feeling that they feel privileged and superior than us to ignore the rule and the hotel actually enabled them. Taiwan is a friendly country but you need to know when to push back when foreigner act disruptive . This has made us the Asian clients feel totally disrespected and discriminated. Hotel shown lack of ability to handle confrontation and has sacrifice your Asian customer to tailor few other race. We stayed 3 days and it was such a great experience until this happed . We will not come back simply for this reason.…
Highly recommend this hotel. Convenient and very friendly helpful staffs. Ken has been an amazing host to us. Assisting us in any queries we had in the best manner possible. Rooms were amazing as well. Will definitely return here for future stays without a doubt
I think the hotel is classic but gorgeous Compare to the modern type of hotel, I feel it more cultural and cozy We got our room upgraded which is spatial Would really glad to have another stay again The wine is great that we share with our friends in another room but for 2 people room I’d rather get maybe 5-6 bottles but better selections.
Really good hotel ! Clean and beautiful with great food, but what makes it the best is the staff Webber makes you feel welcome and comfort not only check in but also escort to room. We have a good experience stay here, if you like to come to Taipei, we highly recommended this hotel! Location, people, lounge are all good.
Good location(next to Taipei main station) Good, beautiful and luxury hotel Children were satisfied with TOMICA Room, there were cars, cars, cars Delicious food, best stuff, best service We had a nice experience on Chinese new year
This hotel is fantastic! Clean and beautiful with great food, but what makes it the best is the staff. Kelley, Justin, and John will immediately make you feel welcome the moment you walk in and if you are able to I would suggest paying the extra to access the VIP lounge. The lounge is a nice relaxing place to enjoy your dinner with a drink while Jennifer, Lydia, Janet and Erin will always make sure you have anything you need. This hotel has nothing short of the best customer service I have ever personally experienced. I know that next time I visit Taipei, this will absolutely be the place I go.
Great location, next to Taipei Main Station and a short walk to the MRT. This hotel is always very clean, well maintained with very comfortable rooms. I’ve stayed here many times when I travel to Taipei and look forward to returning each time. What sets this hotel apart from so many others is the staff. They could not do enough to help you and make you feel like they care about you. Special thanks to Guest Services staff Ken and Kelly for all your help. I look forward to seeing you both each time I travel to Taipei.
As soon as we arrived at the lobby on the 6th floor, Sr Guest Relations Manager Amy Wu was there to greet and assist us with the check-in process as well as explaining the history and quirks of the hotel. They comped us a bottle of wine + fruit plate for our anniversary as well as a room upgrade which was very kind of them. We also got free minibar access through our Expedia VIP Gold membership. While the decor of the hotel is quite an eclectic mix of European, Japanese, and Chinese influences that isn't my preferred aesthetic, I'm sure it appeals to many others. And coupled with an exceptional Cantonese restaurant on the 17F, Palais de Chine is truly a gem of a hotel.
