We had difficult and long trip to reach the hotel from Rincon volcano as the street is not really easy to find ( highway number 911 ) but finally we found the hotel where is nice and location is not in too many touristic area. We had booked garden view for 1 week and got an ocean view in stead....

Our family group of 6 stayed 4 days and had a super delightful time! We enjoyed the privacy of the resort and the secluded cove. We enjoyed the wonderful food and super service in the restaurant. Couldn't have had better service. Our needs were met quickly, from fresh towels to first aid supplies for a stubbed toe. No unsightly advertising....

My husband and I came here after the Lake Arenal area. Hotel Sugar Beach is beautiful. We had a beautiful bungalow with a garden view and it was perfect. The room was clean and we had plenty of hot water! The restaurant on property is amazing. The beach was nice and quiet with only hotel guests. The waves can be...

This casual (not pretensious) Hotel has exclussive access to the secluded and gorgeous Sugar Beach. We spent most of our three days there enjoying swimming and walking at this special spot. The lovely (small) pool provided a break when the sun was too strong. Restaurant has spectacular view and good food. Saw capucine monkeys and lots of iguanas. Air conditioning...

We stayed in the Honeymoon (Master) Suite for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The beach was beautiful and secluded. The restaurant was great, we stayed there for six days and only left to eat elsewhere two nights. The service was amazing and personal.

We stayed at Hotel Sugar Beach for 10 nights, and our stay couldn't have been more wonderful. It is off the beaten path, which meant a quiet location that felt authentic. Our room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The restaurant offers great food for extremely reasonable prices (plus happy hour Fridays and Saturdays!). The beach is...

My wife and I have eaten at the restaurant several times while on vacation in Costa Rica. The plates are just the right size. Friendly staff and you don't have to be a guest to eat here or pay a fee. Whoever is running the kitchen is doing a fantastic job!. Everything was great but the Tuna Steak was by...

Sugar Beach Hotel is nearly at the end of the road, and not within walking distance to other attractions, but what a beautiful place. The room we were in was huge with a four poster bed and 100ft. from the ocean. The food was outstanding and the hotel staff was simply the best. A must recomendation.

The hotel is located in a small bay with a nice view, especially at sunset. The rooms are comfortable , spacious and have ( those that offer ) true ocean view. The pool is nice and is surrounded by a beautiful garden . The restaurant is not bad. In my stay I received from the front desk excellent service.
