Visited this place over the second weekend of Feb with Family. Left Bangalore at 4 :30 in the morning and in spite of driving leisurely and stopping for breakfast at Mysore we reached the place comfortably by 10:30. The place is located at the foothills of the Nilgiris. In fact it is at this place that the forest meets the...

The location is the great thing about this place. Many of the resorts around Masinagudi are clustered together. This one has denser jungle and less development around it. There are lots of deer and other animals. Elephants roam around at night, though I wasn't lucky enough to see any.

This is apt for people who are looking for a stay in jungle as we saw a lot of deer near by our room.. Also the room interior represents wild life.. Food was good bt expensive.. And we may need a jeep to commute.. Additionally they will take care of trekk activities also..

Cottages are well spaced out and each comes with a small outdoor balcony/ veranda. Rooms are well kept and clean and are decently furnished. Property is spacious with plenty of natural greenery and open spaces to walk around. Note that this is not your typical concrete jungle which a lot of resorts these days are. This is a bunch of...
