We spent two nights here with our kids aged 11 & 12. The farm is a tranquil location and we saw so much wildlife from the terrace outside our cottage - spotted deer, Nilgiris langur, malabsorption squirrel - all played just a few metres from us. On a jeep tour around the house lace we also saw wild dogs, which was a real treat.
The pool made the kids very happy! There was also a huge array of toys and sports kit available.
Unfortunately one daughter was poorly, a bug she had picked up elsewhere. The staff were helpful, concerned and cooked to cater for a delicate tummy. The rest of us all tucked into massive amounts of delicious home cooked food.
All in all, we had a lovely stay. Thoroughly recommended!!

We decided on Bamboo Banks based on Trip Advisor ratings and must candidly say we are not disappointed. From Bangalore the place is about 260 kms and it took around 7 hours with breaks for snacks, tea etc. on the way.
We, husband, wife and son(all adults) were put up in the brick house which was hugely spacious. The package included breakfast, lunch and dinner which were sumptuous, varied and of fantastic taste. The hospitality of all staff were remarkable. Mr. Zerasp , the owner, was the one who received us on the very first day. The manager Mr.Rafique was very amiable and provided all the necessary guidance. Later , we were even received by Ms Shahnaz( Mr. Zerasp's sister) .
With Bamboo Banks as our station we visited the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve(7 kms) in the morning 6.30 am 8.00 am and later in the evening(4.30 pm to 6.30 pm) we went to Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Bandipur is one hour drive from Masinagudi.
In Bamboo bank itself a lot can be explored by way of travel in a Gypsy of the entire 42 acres property. The deer, turkey, wild dog, many birds, Nilgiris, view from machan , horse riding, riding ATV (quad bike) - all comes along with the package. Swimming pool and sports equipment are also available which we didn't use.
It was indeed a nice memorable stay .

A home away from home !
The open space , the animals on the farm , the awesome food is what had my kids really engaged .
It was a relaxing vacation with everything taken care of , pet friendly in true sense and our dogs would look forward to the walk in the woods every day .
The sunset would bring out the hares and the kids had a fun time tracking them , the deer’s on campus never failed to excite all of us .
The personalised attention and the staff were very polite and helpful , discussing the menu everyday , food for the dogs was another plus.
We look forward to going back for another trip soon - a great place to unwind , relax with access to Internet and the quote of the woods

We had the most wonderful stay at Bamboo Banks. This family run property is managed really well. Our accommodation (Brick House) was really spacious with every possible amenity included. The verandah and the open spaces around Brick House with sunlight filtering through the trees -- provided the perfect place to unwind. We were thrilled to spot two Malabar squirrels in the canopy! The property has beautiful grounds to explore and a sparkling clean swimming pool. The food is delicious, freshly made, and served hot by the warm and friendly kitchen staff. Our thanks to the property manager for being really attentive to all the guests.
Altogether, our stay was really memorable and we have no hesitation in recommending Bamboo Banks!

We stayed as a couple in 2018 & thoroughly enjoyed our stay & so made a return visit with our family this time.
It’s a great place to relax and experience a true farm stay & is very close to the Mudumalai National Park.
We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed all the facilities offered including horse riding, ATVs, fire pit in the evenings and the fabulous pool.
The cottages are comfortable & have all the facilities you need but please don’t expect 5 star accommodation. You come here to enjoy the natural beauty of the setting with deer, monkeys, malabar squirrels & domestic farm animals surrounding you. We were lucky to see 3 wild elephants crossing the road on our way to the farm.
Freshly prepared food enjoyed in a rustic, alfresco setting ... good selection of veg & non veg ... generous portions. The service provided by all staff was excellent.
Management & owners speak very good English & a range of day trips are also offered.
A big thank you from our whole family for providing us with a fantastic stay ... we left reluctantly with many happy memories.

I stayed there for one night with my parents and kids. When we reached there, every body was little scared as the property was inside the Madumalai National park but Mr. Rafeeq greeted and assured us about our safety. As we got settled in our cottages, we have seen herd of dears just in front of our cottages. This was first experience of its kind. We were able to spot wild boars, ducks and giant squirrel. There were many activities like horse riding and atv driving too. We enjoyed our stay and hospitality of the staff. Thank you Mr. Zerasp and dear Rafeeq for establishing and maintaining property like this.

Our Dec'19 visit to Bamboo Banks was our 5th yearly visit. While writing this review, my mind cannot stop but think of visiting this favorite place of mine again.
I have mentioned this in my previous reviews of this place and am doing so again. What I love about this place is the friendly and helpful staff, the comfortable accommodation, the food and the basic calm and serenity of the farm.
We have always visited as a family of four. Our favourite cottage is the brick house and next the stone house. This time we did have a peep into the other cottages and I must say I was impressed. any cottage you pick here is very comfortable. The stone cottage is covered with trees and gives you a feel of being in a forest.
The estate is great for a morning run. The pool is always well maintained and great for a swim or pool games. Morning horse riding is taken up by most of the guests. There are ATVs that you can take for a ride. The tree house is a great place to read a good book and look down on the mudumalai forest while the chirping of birds keeps you good company. The tree house is also a great place to view a beautiful sunset.
Just at the border of the estate is a small stream that we always visit. This is outside the estate but a great place to relax and calm yourself down.
Im adding some pics of this year's visit. We visited during christmas so there was a christmas themed dinner that went so well with the season.
Once again I would like to Thank Mr Zerasp and his family along with Mr Rafiq and the staff who took such good care of us and gave us another memorable holiday.

My husband and I visited Bamboo Banks in Dec 2020.
Property
This 42 acre property is a mini forest housing several mammals like spotted deer, langurs... if you are lucky you can spot an Elephant too. We spotted over 50 different bird species that included the beautiful Blue bearded bee eater, small Minivet, Indian paradise flycatcher etc.
Amenities
Zerasp the owner takes the guests in his 4 wheel drive jeep to give an overview of the large property.
They have ATV vehicles that one can take for a spin. That’s good fun. They also have horseback riding, cycling among other things to do in the property.
Room
We stayed in Cottage, that was very spacious with all the amenities. View of the forests and the birds made it special.
Food
Food spread was really lavish with multiple options for veg, non veg, South Indian and North Indian dishes. The menu was specially designed for each day.
Hosts
Owners Mr Zerasp and Mrs Shanaz are warm, lovely and gracious hosts. Mr Rafique the manager and the staff are very polite and made sure we are comfortable, making our stay truly memorable.
We would definitely love to visit this beautiful place again.

This property is stunning, and the staff is exceptional. They epitomize the principle of keeping things simple and doing them well. Despite its spacious layout, the property is impeccably maintained and offers a variety of activities. I must give a special shoutout to Rafique. The staff is incredibly caring, ensuring that our toddler was well taken care of in terms of both activities and food. The food is another highlight of this place. A must-have experience!

Went with some friends for a day. Stayed on for three. It was that good. Zed and his sister Shernaz make sure you have a wonderful time. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The linen was fresh. The complementaries in the room were generous. The food was excellent. And the service exemplary! A great place to wind down and relax. And with over 30 acres, you can walk around, visit their farm, take a jeep drive, ride a horse or zoom around on the ATV track - all complimentary! Will surely stay here again. Well done Zed and team.

No, sorry we have only cottages
Surely you will find a nice weather during march.
Bamboo Banks is a Farm Guest House with lots of farm animals on the premises , besides their own dogs and cats . So to take your own pet dogs will pose a problem , and it is very doubtful if the Guest House would allow or encourage pets being brought on the premises . This is only my opinion , it is best to check directly with the management of the Farm Guest House .
I have no idea sorry
