This is a relatively small, two-story hotel with about 20 rooms. The rooms are average-sized for a hotel, and every room has either a patio (first floor) or a balcony (second floor) facing the beach. Each room has a separate bathroom, air conditioning, and a small refrigerator. There is free wi-fi, although it is not always reliable. The hotel is...

We booked our vacation at Thai Kamala Village based on the high ratings it received on Booking.com. We found the room to be quite dirty, the property unkempt, the Wi-Fi inoperable and the breakfast terrible. We found another property a little further down on Kamala Beach which was much cleaner and less expensive (though breakfast was not included).

We stayed 2 nights in this nice place as part of our Phuket trip. Our thought was to have Kammala as the first stop which is nearer to the Phuket airport and quaint for the kids. The hotel is right on the beach with its rooms viewing the beach and ocean. The accommodation is basic but clean and reflects the...

Nothing fancy about this place but the location is perfect, right on the beach at the quieter end of Kamala Beach. The staff are really friendly and the vibe is really chilled out. Bathrooms are small but functional and the water is hot. Highly recommended if you dislike the formality of big hotels.

Not sure where to begin. I pre-boked for a week and after the first day I wanted to leave but was stuck there. Everything was broken in my room: 1) The fridge is old and did not cool very well. 2) Broken furniture. 3) Shower did not work properly only very hot water or cold water. 4) A/A was only...

Great place to stay, we arranged 3 weeks here and the staff arranged for our taxi at the airport there, the rooms are very large and clean, the views are spectacular, the reception staff can't do enough for you, from umbrellas and even beach towels and mats, to ensuring there was cold water in the fridge for you, would stay...

Thai Kamala Village is a small, but typical Thai inn. The rooms are basic - nothing fancy. But it's spacious, the bed is comfortable, the linens are clean and the views of Kamala bay are priceless. There's free television and a mini-fridge in the room and complementary wi-fi available. So the towels aren't fluffy, and the bathroom products are minimal;...

Kamala is a quiet beach community with a decent beach and a number of good restaurants within walking distance. Thai Kamala Village is paired with Mamma Mia restaurant and had one of the best value beachfront rooms for the time period we sought (just after Songkran, the Thai New Year). Our beachfront room had a nice balcony, was comfortable and...

We initially booked two nights for a twin bedroom and when we arrived fairly late, there were keys waiting for us since no one was at the front. Went to the room and it was a double bed. I finally was able to talk to the owner Johan and he changed to a twin bedroom right away! I also told...

Really cool little place only metres from a really nice beach. Ocean views, my mrs loved it. Not really modern or fancy but well worth the price that's for sure. Limited breakfast menu but again, can't complain when it's included in the price which is already great value.
