We went for a meal in the bar/restaurant on a Friday evening. We never have a problem with children eating in a restaurant but there is a question of balance and when there are significantly more children than adults the 'restaurant' was more akin to a youth club. Our apple crumble desert was burnt, inedible and had to be returned....

Liz and chef Richie organized a Curry Night, at just under £12 a head, for a 3 course meal. It was FABULOUS! Though it was 3 courses, Liz brought out extra course of poppadoms/dips,followed by the best Indian food i've ever tasted! The mango sorbet was to DIE for....Liz mentioned doing a Mexican night, so really looking forward to that!Superb...

Looking at some of the previous reviews i was a little dubious about my stay here?!? I was welcomed as a came through the door by the bar staff, very friendly. Food was fantastic!! You have people coming from other establishments just to eat here! Rooms are not posh nor is the bar, but you are in a bar and...

Stopped by in this hotel just for a drink , and what an odd place! It looks like something in a time warp , really cheap looking tatty old furniture , lots of dogs rushing about the bar area , strange rather offhand staff . However the place seemed quite popular with the locals but I would guess it is...

On arrival i was welcomed by a very obnoxious man,who was clearly incompetent and completely intoxicated with alcohol,to my amazement i discovered it was he owner and not some random drunk. A younger woman appeared and gave us a warm welcome and asked if we would like a drink and to have a look at a menu .The hotel owner...
