We needed a nice room for an overnight stay. Booked online, no hassles and were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and quality of the rooms. Check in was quick and we were soon in our room after a long day of travelling. The room we had was large, as was the bathroom. All the fittings and furniture was of a... More

Extremely comfortable luxurious Guesthouse in the middle of dry dusty Colesberg up the road from the huge round church. Excellent bathroom, great beds, good quality winter sheets, central heating & air conditioning, electric blankets. Money has been spent doing this place up - good dining room with bar and fireplace. Swimming pool. Excellent breakfast at an extra R80 pp. Nice... More

Arrived late evening in what seemed at first to be a ghost town, however church street almost immediately evoked memories of a cowboy western movie, with the church standing proudly at the end of the street. Further ahead and behind the church, you shall find honeylocust, a nice, cosy, comfortable array of clean rooms with bathrooms en suite. It was... More

The B&B was immaculate and well appointed. The furnishings were smart and luxurious. Friendly staff and very clean facilities. The restaurants were all within walking distance, although we chose to drive. Will definitely go back when we pass through again.

Honeylocust is perfectly geared for a one night stop over between Joburg and the Cape. The kitchen has lots of fridge space and a microwave so you could easily cook a microwave meal or salad for dinner. Bathrooms are beautiful, big shower and bath, all kept very clean. Breakfast is charged as an additional amount of R80.00 per person.

A great small hotel en route to or from the Eastern or Western Cape. Facilities are upgraded regularly and the manager is fantastic. Really a comfortable stopover to break your journey. Restaurants for dinner are very nearby.

Lovely 1 night stop over. We stayed in the Hadeda room and it was clean and neat. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. I would recommend the breakfast in the morning. We would stay there again on our next roadtrip.

Luxurious little spot. The grounds are immaculately kept, friendly and professional service. Our family stayed in the Hadeda room. Beautifully decorated, lovely linen and towels, spotlessly clean. Everything in working order, highly recommended.
