What a great B&B! Lovely room, with lots of important extras like large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower/bath gel, not those horrible sachets you can never open! Excellent breakfast served by lovely girls who were very polite and obliging. The whole place is decorated in the English traditional style and is very comfortsble. We stayed there while visiting relatives...

There are not enough words to rate our stay at the old bakehouse! comfortable beds, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, charming town and we were so spoiled by the landlady! Our first stay at The Old Bakehouse but definitely not our last!! It was absolutely worth the 10h travel from Sweden

This is our second visit and again we were blown away! We were warmly welcomed and we love 'our' little family room, cosy and warm and with a utility room down the hall way with jugs and fresh milk which I personally love. The girls were so excited to see Frances they ran up to her for cuddles at breakfast...

We had a great weekend in Devon whilst staying at The Old Bakehouse. From the moment we arrived, Frances went out of her way to accommodate us and we appreciated her flexibility throughout our stay. The bedroom we stayed in was comfortable and the breakfast was a particular highlight. We would happily return to this part of Devon and stay...

I wanted a short break away with my husband and was advised to stay here . It is a bed and breakfast in a small Devon Village with full of charm and very quaint. There are a couple of pubs nearby and all in walking distance, good old pub food. Not a lot to do within the village but lots...

Highly recommend the Old Bakehouse. Frances and her staff were extremely welcoming and attentive without being intrusive in anyway to our family. We were nervous to stay at a B and B with small children but we were made to feel totally at home and no trouble. Excellent selection of gluten free offerings for breakfast and went out of way...

Very clean accommodation. Breakfast ok. My only criticism would be that the en suite was very dated and situated in a louvre doored cupboard. Colyton is a lovely friendly place and worth visiting. We woukd visit again but probably stay somewhere else.
