We visited summer homes twice while in sleepy Port Barton between trips to turtle bay. The resort is right in front of the beach, it has lovely gardens, and an on site beach bar which serves really good food. A lot of people from the beach came looking for accommodation once arriving as it really is the nicest looking (and...

First off I paid 2,000 pesos for a beachfront bumgalow. It was not a beachfront....it was a garden view or even call it a sea view (just). The beach is about 15-20 metres away so to call it beach front is not correct. There are 900 peso rooms and 2,000 peso bungalows. This later price is on the high side...

People is quite kind, they help us in everything we asked for. Room is ok for this price. Beach is just in front of the hotel. And drinks & food very very good. If i would come back I'll repeat for sure.

On getting off the bus after a long journey one of the locals took us to this place - we were worried about getting cash as none of the ATM's in the main town, which was 3 hours away, would give us any money. And, arriving in town, which is more like a village, we werent sure that we would...

We stayed here for almost a week, because it was such a nice place. We had the resort almost for ourselves and we couldn't believe they were fully booked for december. Very friendly staff, always willing to help. Restaurant could have been cheaper, but the food was really nice. We had one of the basic rooms (not one of the...

We had one of the four bungalows in front of the other rooms, with ocean- and gardenview. In the rooms there is elecetricity in the morning and also from 6pm until midnight, whilst the wifi works almost all day. Food was good and affordable. But there was also some less expensive and also very tasty food in the neighbourhood resorts....

The rooms and grounds are very nice looking. The staff has some bad apples in customer service and general social interactions. They do not tell you ahead of time there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The one fan barely does anything and if you ask for an extra fan they will tell you "no" immediately. They will confidently...

Seafront location (choose one of the four cottages in the garden) only meters from the beach, Large clean rooms, good bathroom and nice terrace overviewing the sea. Professional and friendly staff, good food and reasonably priced. Arrange boat-trips, transportation and fix practical details. Probably no. 1 place to stay at Port Barton.

nice rooms, decent wifi, and electricity from afternoon till midnight. The staff is the main reason I'm taking time to write this review. They were always friendly and very helpful answering questions and pointing me in the right direction. I stayed in one Of the attached rooms and slept well. Dog barking and rooster calls are unavoidable on this island,...
