Honestly I will never recommend this hotel to anyone else.... According to rates service is horrible. Staff don't have manner to talk. No respect for guest. After using utensils they said wash yourself. We had to arrange extra bedding by ourselves from dusty area and when we did that they told not to do so without permission...like really... Even drinking was charged and their so called "complementary breakfast" they didn't provide water in that too. There was no mirror in whole villa. Light were very dim everywhere. All taps water were dripping all the time. Kitchen sinks choked up and there was water everywhere in kitchen. Location explaination isn't true there is no Beach outside the villa. There was no one to take our luggage inside the villa from car. Rooms were very smelly. Only two small thin soap were provided that too like a stone and there was a hand wash bottle in which there was only water (you can't even wash ur hand). I strongly believe that you should not book this villa. Their photos which are uploaded are totally fake. Don't waste ur money in this villa.…
We travelled to Kashid-Murud with teenagers, kids and senior-citizens, a pure family trip. We booked the villa with the help of Manoj. It's called Mi@Casa. Its 5 minutes from Kashid beach. We got Jain food, non-veg, bhajiya pakoras and what not... the villa is spacious with good rooms, balconies, garden and lot of play equipment. The kids never complained of being bored, rather they did not even watch TV. They were busy playing Table-Tennis, badminton and many other outdoor games. The kitchen was big and the caretakers Vinayak and his wife are good cooks and very cordial and helpful. We had our choicest food and all that we have at home like mango-shake, cold coffee, etc. When we returned all wet and tired after playing on the beach, the well cooked meals were a great comfort. A long stay in the villa near the beach is heavenly. It's economic too. Loved the place.…
The house is nicely built with a in-built stairway. The rooms are clean but the bathroom are a little dirty. The dining area has all the basic amenities available like glasses, plates, spoons. It has a fridge also. The caretaker is nice man who will help you with all your needs. Mind you we would have to pay for the water bottle he gives you which is around Rs 20 per bottle. If you wanna drink then please bring your alcohol from Alibaug as there are no shops over here. Otherwise you will get everything from nearby shops. the caretaker will provide you with a thali which is for Rs 200 and has chicken and prawn masalas with roti and rice. highly recommed if you are coming in a group. We paid 8390 for the place with 7 people. It has 2 AC rooms and there another room upstairs but it doesnt have an AC.…
Had a very memorable stay. Spent a night here with my college mates . The place isnt too big but comfortable for around 6-8 people to sleep. Is airconditioned and has cable tv.Has a small verandah and a medium sized living room with 2 bed rooms , 2 bathrooms and one bedroom ( with wooden floor ) upstairs. The interiors are very tastefully decorated considering the location of the house. It has small artefacts , statues , masks and photos everywhere. It is a traditional house for the region which has been modernised. The antique furniture and the china crockery has its own charm. The caretaker Mangesh was helpful and responded well to our ad hoc requests. We got fish from Alibag and had it prepared by him. It is not sea facing but then hardly any Hotel is at Kashid. In the morning we were woken up by natural alarms , cocks in the vicinity . Woke us up a tad too early for our liking but we we all had a good laugh about it and hit the beach before sunrise .The house is not the place to hold noisy parties though. Best visited with families or friends who enjoy endless chats over some card games & drinks:)…
I have booked this cottage as I was traveling with an infant. I have wonderful experience over there and food is extremely delicious. I had a great time and beach is at walking distance. Clean rooms and washroom.
Had a very pleasant experience staying in Kashid cottage. The villa is cozy and comfortable to spend the whole day lazing around and then head to the beach in the evening, which is just 2-4 mins walk away. The feel of the villa is very rustic with different types of antique pieces kept for display giving the house a very different and beautiful look. Special thanks to Mr Manoj and Mr Mangesh for the hospitality and making us feel like home. Im sure I will be making another visit soon.
The place is walking distance from the part of the beach which is less crowded and super beautiful. Its a 3 bed room duplex house with a small garden and verandah. Only one of the three bed rooms has an attached bathroom. It's a well maintained village house with slight antique touch and gives you a cozy feel. We stayed in the ground floor room with AC and attached bath. The overall lighting is a bit less and can be increased possibly. The caretaker Mangesh is good natured and takes good care of you. The food is also quite good though the quantity can possibly be increased.
A very nice & charming property.. The caretaker is well behaved. Food is nice : homely. Very close to the beach... Overall great experience .... We were well cared... & would recommend to every one... Toilets need to improve though..
This was a trip with my friends, we were 7 of us. Finding the place wasn't difficult, it is about a km or two ahead of Kashid beach, in kashid village. The house is located literally in the middle of village houses. Its a beautiful old house, and you'll love it if you like vintage stuff. The house was built back in 1930s, and is adorned with antique articles and collections... totally giving you the vintage feel. The caretaker brought us great freshly home-made food, as and when requested for. There is a porch and a varandah when you enter the gate. Through the varandah, the main door of the house opens to a dining area on the ground floor, leading to 2 ac bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a staircase going upstairs. These stairs lead to an attic with a double bed. This attic was our hang out place. The house is very well maintained, and the beach is literally 2 mins walk away from the house... and since this place is a km or 2 away from the main beach area, what you get is private section of the beach... devoid of the crowd. When we went, it felt like the beach was all ours!!! Overall, a great stay for 6-7 people.. the only downside was the water flow in the bathrooms, which were too slow and infrequent.…
Visited in June 2014 with family friends. Its an old property but nicely maintained and kept its look and feel lively. Two rooms are there at ground level and one at mezzanine floor. They have a good collection of antique crockery, kitchen items and all. AC was not working that time, but fan was available. Small garden is available inside the boundary. Kids played and enjoyed a lot. We just the space for barbecue dinner. Bought sea food from wet market at a cheaper rate and enjoyed the dinner. Kashid beach is about 15 mins walk from the cottage.
