The Manor is an attractive mansion of the end of the XIXth century. It was built by a wealthy industrialist in the nice and prosperous time of the textile industry. The Manor construction is " à la lyonnaise ". From the road, it's a simple and discreet facade, not to impress the neibourhood. From the indoor it offers an exuberant and outstanding view through a large park with more than centenarians trees. Everything is there to admire the industrial city of Tarare. It's true than after the industrial period of blessed, Tarare was slowed down, but nowadays it completely reborns, thanks to new activities (such as Gerflor). The Manor has its historic period. April 1943, the owner of the Manor, was the leader of the resistance (Albert Giron).
