A fantastic base for a cycling holiday, right on the doorstep of all the best climbs and the best facilities to match. The rooms are all huge with all the facilities that are required by serious cyclists (and their family), as well as a garage / workshop area to tinker so your bike is ready for the next ride. The... A group of four of us stayed here in June 2016 as some of us were cycling the Alps D'Huez and nearby climbs. It is the perfect base for a cycling holiday. The rooms are enormous ( I think we had room 3 or 4 on the second floor) with comfortable beds, nice linen/duvets/pillows, en suite facilities, a small kitchenette... More

I stayed with a couple of friends for 4 nights, our main reason being to enjoy the fantastic cycling on offer in and around this beautiful part of the Alps. Our accommodation was comfortable and perfectly adequate for our needs located in the lovely village of Oz, perched just above Barrage de Verney. Our balcony views were breathtaking! Stayed here for four nights with a couple of friends on our first foray into Alpine climbs. We shared one of the apartments but didn't use the self catering facilities as we either ate out or enjoyed Gill's excellent cooking. Our room was perfect for what we needed with comfortable beds, a decent shower and a great view from the... More

The food is terrific we had a truely wonderful holiday cycling all over. Very close to Criox de Fer climb, Glandon climb, Alpe D' Heuz and many many more. If you... More

This was our third visit to Le Chateau D'oz. One summer holiday and two winter trips. If you like comfort and good food with very entertaining hosts look no further. Gill's food is culinary. We booked three nights here as a 'luxury' end to a caravan holiday in southern France and it met all our expectations. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Gill & Andy, their staff and other guests. Our suite was pleasantly decorated and furnished with double aspect windows giving us views across the valley and a good size terrace.... More

We had a great week ski ing holiday staying at Le Chateau d'Oz. Andy, Gill, Martine and Anthony and couldn't do enough for us. They were so helpful especially helping me get a meal together for my 8 month old who was attending the nursery up at Oz station.
