The lodge was lovely, very comfortable and set in the most beautiful scenery. The service was excellent, the staff really went out of their way to please us and accommodate our needs. If you get a chance try a massage, its heavenly!

Maliba Mountaun Lodge is situated in a nature park, far away from everything and that has a certain charm if you like such an experience. The 6 chalets are very cozy, large and comfortable. Hiking is great, but beware of the circular route. We are experienced, but as there were hardly any markers left, it was a bit scary. Apart...

Lovely surroundings, very clean rooms, exceptional reception on the day of arrival and very very friendly staff!! Only one unfortunate thing was that our friends' geyser was leaking gas and on the second night and the morning thereafter, they did not have hot water to shower. One of a kind experience in this amazing hidden lodge in the mountains. Great food,, immaculate rooms, nice hiking trails set in amazing scenery- only hiccup is the long drive from Johannesburg and the still rather inexperienced staff - with a bit of Training this Will be a true 5-Star

We ended our trip with a few nights at Maliba and overall it was a great way to wrap up our trip. Check-in was very smooth and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We did a few hikes - luckily the rivers had receded enough to cross after the recent rains - and found their maps and descriptions to...

Lovely setting. Full boarding with excellent food. The hiking trails are well marked and correctly rated. The lodges are well built and designed and was sufficient for our needs. We had a flat tire and their maintenance team was quick and efficient. So - worth a visit!

What an excellent place. If you are looking for a tranquil and secluded place in the mountains this is really it. The lodges are great in size and totally secluded form each other. The area is extremely beautiful.
