The place is a little old fashion but it is what you would want if you are traveling in Nepal. The staff is amazing and the food is good along with the fact that you can walk right to where you get the boats to take you across the river to the jeep safari ride. I would recommend

Worst hotel to stay in sauraha. Swarm of ants in the room and in the bed middle at middle of night. Upon complaining, the staff said that you should have looked before checking in. Terrible hotel. Avoid this on at sauraha.

"Don't expect too much! The rooms are tired and the bathrooms need upgrading. All rooms are quiet, unless a rogue elephant breaks through the boundary wall, as it did when we were there! it was so exciting!!"
