Heritage of Chomu Palace, designed in Indian vastushastra philosophy the Erstwhile Chomugarh Fort (Thikana – Chomu) is a collateral branch of the Samode fiedom founded in the 16th century by Rao Gopalji in 1550, 4th son of Raja Prithviraj Singhji 1st of Jaipur. Chomugarh fort initially was strategically built to house the armies and chiefs with a 5 meter thick outer protective wall to ward of invaders / enemies. From the time of Laying the Foundation in early 16th Century till its transformation from a Fort to a Palace in late 18th Century, Chomugarh witnessed close to 350 years of Architectural evolution. The architecture of the Palace thus has been influenced in many ways by the culture and styles of the reigning Monarchy over 350 years and represents a rich Blend of Rajput, Mughal & European aesthetics, traditions and philosophy. We visited Chomu Palace first time and it was a memorable experience. The property is very well mainatined, housekeeping staff was visibly involved in the upkeep of place. Mr Kuldeep Shekhawat and his team are the credit owners. Govardhan Singh's (housekeeping staff) humble interaction in English was adorable. He could find my small earring which I lost around our room. The restraunt team lead by Mr Nand Singh pays personal attention to the demands/taste of guests. Overall a nice peaceful break from mad/noisy cities. Our next trip with family & friends is due soon. An apt place for destination wedding. Movies shot here are Bol Bachchan, Bhulbhuliayan...to name some. Highly recommended.

The place itself is very far from city and the palace is very unique of its kind. You would definitely feel the nature with different kind of birds in the palace complex. The best part is the unique architecture and they did not change anything to keep it intact. It’s value for money. Just book it. Mr. Kuldeep Singh has taken good care to make our stay amazing. It’s the true heritage palace with amazing nature. There are many different kind of rooms which should suit your budget and it’s very cheap too.

We went Chomu Palace for New Year's Eve. As soon as we reached we were one traditional welcome and the mood was instantly set. We had all our meals at the palace itself and starting from munch to the next day brunch, the selection of menu, taste of food and hospitality won our hearts. Cannot be a worse experience then the same. Had to struggle for 2 hours till midnight to find a Room. Had to compromise on lower category. Food is horrible..still suffering. No service level. Property in itself is too small and above that had wedding booking to disturb all through with lots of noise. No late check out was provided though actual stay started quite late due to issues with regard to room.

We visited here for the palace get for 100% experience. The palace has a good vibe unlike many other vintage properties. The palace is well kept and attention is given to details, so that it doesn’t kill the vintage look and feel. The staff starting from Mr. Ajay saini who arranged our booking to each and every department head was keen to serve us and make our stay memorable. The restaurant served us meals as per our preference and demonstrated true Rajasthani hospitality. The knowledgeable staff also gave palace tour to my kids which was very exciting for kids.

This stay was one of the memorable one. We were approx 120 people staying in chomu and we were looked after to nicely that we never felt out of the place. Amazing experience, staff, food, hospitality everything was the best. Thank you so much for having us and looking after us so nicely...i will soon come and will have a blast.

One of the best heritage palace hotel in Rajasthan. The property is beautifully maintained .
My Royal Experience 58 Suites characterize the aristocratic background of Chomu Palace Hotel. During my stay Hotel staff gave me blend of tradition of old-world hospitality and of contemporary style.
A night in this romantic, aristocratic ambience surrounded by antique furniture and grandeur with marble bathrooms and luxurious furnishings makes an experience as memorable as it is inspiring. Each suite is unique, but reflects our love of quiet comfort and understated elegance.
The food was excellent I tried its royal Rajasthani thali, in my dinner tried some continental and super delicious breakfast in maharani suite
The hospitality of staff was no doubt excellent. My special thanks to Mr Devendarji, Mr Sanjay Bajetha Chef Bhagwan Gujjar , Mahesh Kumar sharma, Makhan Kumar sharma

It was an excellent experience of visiting and staying in this historical palace at Chomu . Excellent hospitality is being served by Sh.Makhan Singh ..He is a one man army in the palace and takes care of each and everything of the guests.He knows how to make the guest happy and lively ..Food was very good and delicious and we all really relished the preparation and taste. My stay at Hotel Chomu Palace was an unforgettable experience! This majestic hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was exceptionally helpful, with special mentions to Mr. Jitender and Mahesh, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They entertained special needs to prepare special meal for our kid.
The food was scrumptious and hygienic, with a wide range of options to suit every palate. The property itself is a marvel - vast, beautiful, and steeped in history. It's impossible to explore it all in a day, but we tried!

Went with my family for New Years at this beautiful 300 year old palace . It was a like a 16th century movie every time I turned my head around to look for another beautifully carved pillar . This place makes you feel like luxury with hidden gems as spacious rooms , real artefacts , chandeliers and furniture coupled with astounding hospitality from Nand Singh , Shilhavat, Virendre, Kaushik and everyone else in the staff. A warm atmosphere and delectable food , this place has my heart . Don’t forget to take long walks and explore each nook and corner of this old haveli and it shall never cease to amaze you . Well, Ajit, one should wait for Jai to describe in detail whatever his experience in Chomu was. It may have been bad, but my own experience and that of many other guests to the place has been fairly positive, so Jai's experience must be treated as rare.
The tariffs are quite high for the tourist season. Try to look for a Groupon deal or some coupon code while booking your rooms.
There are more places to choose from in the Chomu area.
