We had checked in to “The Bob House Resort” on 29th August 2020 for one day. Said property is situated in remote area near pavna lakeside which is around 22km from Kamshet off old Mum-Goa highway. There are things with the property that we didn't like but that's very subjective hence refraining discussing the same on this platform.
The best part of this hotel is immense sense of hospitality. Entire team is working towards the satisfaction of the customer in every manner. Well sanitized room, WIFI service was good, room service just a phone call away, presence of CCTV surveillance, parking facility, the food (lunch and dinner) was fresh, tasty, properly prepared, timely, and a great value for the price. The breakfast next day was equally good. Misal Pav definitely a trademark dish and thanks Mr. Amir (crew member) for surprisingly made it available on breakfast table as we were checking out early. One line review: Must for a group of friends who like to have a relaxed time near lake with good food & Music
Detailed Review: Visited the place in oct 2022 with my gf. It is a great alternative if you dont want to spent the night near lake in tent on uncomfy sleeping pads. The rooms are clean and depends on the group size can accomodate visitors (upto 12 ppl in dormitory size rooms). Other than the pool, the in-house play area has a snooker table, TT, carrom, etc. Ensure to check out the photos of the place to get a glimspe of the amazing sunset view from Bob House.
Pawna lake is at a 2min walking distance from this place. While road to the place is pretty messed up (for your vehicle and your back), but that's a bargain for being closest to pawna lake, and once your are there, the tiredness will wear off.
Abhijit and Staff took good care during the stay. Even before the check-in they assisted with the best route as google shows a longer route to place (look for an Offroad cut to thakursai from main road) and post our check-out assisted with a broken down car. What more can one ask for?

We stayed for two night in this resort and this was a relaxing place. The place is nicely located near the lake. A five minute walk to the lake and one can view the sunset and its a sight to behold. The food is excellent though a variety would have been most welcome. The host (Vicky) is very nice and is willing to customise your specific food requirements. The resort took all precautions on Covid with Sanitisers and masks being worn by staff all the time. The staff was really very helpful and did go out of the way to make sure that guests were comfortable. They have small activity area with pool ( well maintained) and has pool, table tennis, carrom, chess in the premises. our rooms were good with a balcony that had a great view of the lake. Surprisingly despite so much of vegetation, we were not bothered by Mosquitoes. The rooms could do with a closet to keep guest clothes or errands. Overall a good experience.

First things first...the staff were very hospitable especially Abhijeet and Amir. Infra however can be greatly improved like our bunk beds were wobbly, Bathroom sink was shaky and too small. Food was disappointing. Ac was not cooling enough and the kids play area was badly maintained.
Good things were - swimming pool was great clean water- very prompt services , visit in groups, discuss the menu before hand. Its good for one night stay.
This property is beautiful but can be maintained better.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday party and they decorated and arranged everything secretly from the person for whom I've planned Everything was great from birthday celebration to candle light dinner etc. awesome food,great location close to Pawana lake far from city but awesome stay... Went there with family for a weekend trip. Good resort with good food and good helpful staff. Reasonable pricing too. Bathrooms were clean & upto the mark. Very close to Pawana Lake. Covid management was also good, sanitizers were all over the place. Only drawback is that the location is slightly far off & if google map is not working properly you can get lost. Roads are also very bad, so don't go with small cars & all, SUV prefered. But enjoyed the trip overall.

I would highly recommend to visit this resort. Everything is worth the price right from food to room service. Do take the barbeque chicken. I would rate 10/10 for food. Friendly staff. Along with good rooms they also have swimming pool and both indoor and outdoor games. Service is very good, punctual and they will always assist you very well. They have different dinning areas and the view from the resort is worth visiting the place.

THEBOBHOUSE! remember this name as this is best hotel in pawna lake! Prices are excellent, I have stayed with my friends for a weekend and honestly I am so happy we found this place. I will start from check in-we all have well sensitize ! with help of very nice, friendly and professional manager ABHIJEET who have great as at the entrance. We felt special from the beginning to the end. Beautiful place- The room was lovely, super clean with most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! and OMG love they pillows!!!:))) bathroom with shower very clean. Reception was very helpful in directing us to nice and clean swimming pools , so we have great night out as well. - ! Its really like they thought of everything to please your stay! We tried food room service as well and in 20 min was delivered to our room! so happy with our stay that acually was sad to leave! RAJU who checked us out was verry sweet and friendly....

We are from hotel industry, my husband is a GM in one of the property in Pune, I booked the property to visit with my family to Lonavala for a day, however I had a terrible experience, non professional staff, un maintained property with no hospitality. They charge heft amount for the poor service and management. I left the property next day at 9:30 am till that time No breakfast was provided. Rooms sizes are tiny, not comfortable at all blankets and bedsheet looked dirty, Swimming pool water was not clear and dirty, I ordered their expensive dinner at 8:30 pm and it came on my table after an hour, my day was choked with hunger. I will not recommend this resort to any one.

Very badly maintained property at good location. This one star is only for location. Else they behave very badly with guests. No sense of hospitality. The pictures you saw on their website and google is totally different they actual property. Once you go their they ask for full money first snd then started talking rudely. On name of Covid they are not taking any special precautions except spraying insecticide while you do check in. After that they don’t even help to carry your luggage. Zero star for their service. Only 2 waiters and one boss running this. If you complain them regarding anything- they didn’t care. Even at times they start fighting with you if they are wrong. It means we have your money. Now you do what you can. They are big cheaters. I advised all to never visit this place. It’s a nightmare. Rooms are smaller then toilets of any good hotel. After they cheated us, we can not do anything else except guiding others. So doing my duty. Never go at The Bob House. It’s nothing but a small dirty lodge with good location.

We have done and done customised each and everything for you. Your wife and whole family appreciated the efforts of whole team and thanked us specially team member Amir for taking good care of them. But you asked for unwanted discounted which was not possible and threatened us for sharing bad reviews. But all other people and guests always appreciating us for last 6 years and we won twice in 6 years the best review awards. My review always speaks for us...Calling us Cheater and putting our property bad view will not justify. Thanks once again and take care during this covid times.
