We received very warm Welcome by entire staff, amazing lemon tea and very tasty Gongura leaf pan (very tasty and local) From checkin to check out everything was very smooth. Entire property gives a warm feeling and positive vibes. Food is scrumptious, homely and fresh. They served lunch in thali and kept serving according to our need.Their home baked breads were amazing.Staff is very efficient and takes care of all needs. They take proper account of food allergies as well. We got to see spotted deer and peacocks. Very well appointed and clean rooms and washrooms. Special mention is Akhil who made sure that we do not face any issues. His knowledge and passion for forests and its habitat was brilliant. He explained the Satpura jungle and Presence of wild life in and around was exceptional. Karthick Akhil and others make a great team. Chef is a perfectionist and cooks delicious food. Few things to be considered when you visit Forsyth. Only Jio network works there. Wifi works in common area only. Half a kilometre of access road would test your driving skills specially in Rainy season. SUVs are the best choice. Lodge arranges boat ride and jungle safaris. Thank you so much Akhil for making our stay so memorable. Hope to see you soon.…
Wilderness, Luxury, Hospitality in the middle of nowhere (Central India)! Though a short stay of 2 nights, we loved the property, their staff & naturalists, food, and everything else. Thank you Team Forsyth! Yusuf, Karthik, Animesh, Nikita - You guys are doing a fab job and look forward to cross paths with you soon!
My time here has been beautiful beyond measure. A wonderfully designed place, with a brilliant touch of art and wildlife. Makes for a serene getaway amidst wilderness. The staff here is so hospitable, they make the guests feel at home. From the way they receive, speak with warmth and that lip smacking food with lots of varieties, is just so good. The safari experience with them, is a class apart. Because a naturalist will accompany. They know the forests and wildlife very well, so the stories and information they give, truly enriches the whole experience. If you are looking for a fulfilling holiday, Forsyth Lodge is where you should be!
I stayed with my small daughter and friends in Forysth resort. Our experience was an amazing much beyond expectation. Hospitality is perfect, food is super tasty, hygiene is maintained, pool is so clean and their concept of minimal use of plastic is very inspiring. Our little one enjoyed her first trip like anything. We are looking forward for more stay in resort in future
I stayed in Forsyth with my family and it was an absolute delight. The resort is away from the life we usually wind ourselves in. It’s secluded , quiet and a paradise for nature lovers. The staff is extremely friendly, hospitable and ensures you have a comfortable stay. Must visit once in your lifetime. I sure would love to go back . Thanks Forsyth and team for taking such good care of us.
Animesh and Yusuf treated us like family and we shared some great memorable moments together in the Jeep Safari, the Walking Trails, The Lodge and in their Hospitality. One Word as i have said above OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCES Thank You Team Forsyth
What a memorable stay we had at @forsythlodge at Satpura National Park. Not just memories we made some friends for life. Spacious aesthetically designed clean rooms, Rooms, common area and library adorn lovely Gond art paintings.. We stayed at Machan cottage. We couldn’t make full use of the beautiful Machan beds and sit outs because we were in jungles most of the time. But we did spend some time in the evening to immerse in the sounds of birds. Food is local, fresh and delicious. We had full thali meals every day including dal batti on the day of Holi. The staff is local and very very welcoming, happy to help with any thing but best is to hear local stories of geography, animals and fresh produce from them. The property is spread across 44 acres land but only 4 acres used for the functioning of lodge. Rest is wild and hence home to many many varieties of birds including hornbills. We enjoyed and loved every moment of our stay.…
Forsyth Lodge is a true hidden gem in many ways than one. Kudos to the owner Aditi Mody for having retained the pristine and eco friendly nature of everything at the Lodge. Barring one wall in the cottages, everything is still pure mud with the interiors very tastefully done and comfortable. Full 5 stars to their GM Yusuf Rizvi and his team for having day in and day out delivering service that was far far greater than even the great hardware. The entire team have their heart and soul in nature and they walk the talk at all levels. Service with a smile is not uncommon. However, service straight from the heart of everyone says a lot about Yusuf and his team. Even a hugely seasoned traveller like me who has been to jungle lodges all over the world feel this was by far one of the best service we have experienced anywhere. Cheers guys!...keep it up. Our dedicated naturalist, Arpita Dutta, was a veritable storehouse of knowledge on nature and conservation. Her loveable nature completely endeared herself to us, so much so that one actually had a lump in the throat saying bye to her. Krishna is a Chef par excellence and who dishes out some yummy meals of different genre to suit your individual taste and preference. Nikita, Animesh, Kartik are super naturalists and they all go out of their way to make you feel special. Satpura is a jewel of a jungle. In 3 days we went around virtually all over the allowed area of the reserve. The beauty of the forest is unparalleled and it gives a glimpse of all the tiger reserves of Central India and Eastern Rajasthan within one park itself. While we missed the elusive tiger and leopard here, we had some lovely sightings of the Gaur, Sloth bear, Malabar giant squirrel, and crocodiles ( 8 of them in one 2 hr boat safari ). Safari or no safari, this is the place to go back to again and again whenever one gets fed up of the city.....we shall come again and again, for sure.…
Experience the local culture in the lap of luxury. Beautiful place, in a forested area of its own, Forsyth lodge has maintained the home stay feel while adding the luxury quotient. A fine balance which ensures you get a wholesome local experience without missing out on any luxury amenities. Food customised to your taste is brilliant, Staff is fantastic. Will recommend and visit again.
No words suffice for our stay at the Forsyth Lodge. It is a beautiful property with nature surrounding all around at the same time a luxury and a hospitality that beats five star hotels. The manager and the naturalists are very friendly and cooperative, especially Nikita who was always there to provide any help we needed and also provided us with a beautiful nature walk in the huge property including their kitchen garden which was an amazing experience in itself. The staff is very kind and the chef Krishna is so talented, he can cook any cuisine you want to relish and the food tastes delectable. We can't wait to come back and haven't stopped recommending it to friends.
