It is such a great resort with great stuff, very clean, helpful and nice foods, in addition there are many diving activities, while snorkelling i saw so many different fishes. It is a big resort and you feel always privacy, sometimes there is nobody on the beach, nice place for peace and relaxation.

Hotel's Favourite
Let me start sharing my honeymoon experience- I was no where closer to select Reethi Faru as my dream destination for honeymoon till the time my dates got shuffled for the other shortlisted island, I opted to finally go for Reethi Faru. I think one of the best decisions made by me. 1) Arrival- Had a dream arrival in the island of Maldives by sea plane. Such a warm welcome by RFR team. I already had an instinct to experience the best days. 2) Front Desk- Checkin was processed in a very systematic and refreshing way. Thanks to Allen & Soso for such a warm hospitality. Allen went out of his way to support me multiple times even after his shifts over or after he had a long queue at his desk yet he never failed to answer all my queries with a smile and generosity. Soso has been one of the warmest and soft spoken staff i have ever met. I requested her to gave me water villa with sunset view. She ensured everythign was in place and before I could remind her she would address my problems and such a humble way. Thanks for contributing for my great experience. Gais helped me when i had my flight cancelled and this gentlement was at the top of his game to help me whenever whatever was need. Allen helped whilst he was exiting from his long working hour shift. Check out was smooth too. 3) Rooms- We had 2 night garden villa and 2 night water villla. Water villa was literally Mesmorizing. Garden villa was given first which was very cozy in the middle of jungle, second we were in the water villa saving the best for the last. My water villa had direct access to breathaking view of ocean, colorful fishes and reefs. It was 10 steps to step in water as pretty as a picture exciting, thrilling kaleidoscopic water. 4) Meal & Restaurant- Vakaru gave a homely feel. Special thanks to Nishan from service team to have served us. Even after working all 3 shifts Nishan made sure to enjoy serving guest with utmost grace and liveliness. Live kitchen counter has been my all time favourite specially egg and pasta. Reethi grill has a special softy corner for its Pizza an view of sea. Dhiyavaru restaurant gave us a very lavish island dinner which cannot be expressed in words. I think i met Riyaz(Ilyas) there and my wife and I enjoyed talking to him about island. Last but not the least and my fav- the honeymoon dinner at Huvandu was no lesser than an dreamlike meal- Last supper before leaving for Maldives- Perfect food with superb lcoation with surreal ambience and yes the perfect dessert. Thanks Nasih for the quality service. 5) Water Acitivites- Team handling this department were extremely cordial and welcoming. My fav acitivyt was sea bob and my wife's was fun tube. No one should miss sunset cruise in Maldives 6) SPA- Spa was good too 4 star 7) Housekeeping-Cleanliness and Efficiency at it's best. 8) Unprecedented incident - Had a minor accident inside the room wherein injured my head. I must say, thank you GM Victor for ensuring to arrange doctor services without charges and also keeping a constant check on me. He ensured to meet me before check out and, I shared my pleasing experience to him with all my heart. Thanks Victor for having such a warm, hospitable, lively, exceptional and world class team. I have already started recommending this lovely peice of island to all my forks and relatives. This has indeed been my best experience in terms of hospitality. Pls convey my special thanks to names mentioned and hope to see you all soon. Thanks Reethi Faru for having us and hats off Victor & team for making this island- a true paradise. :)

The Reethi Faru Resort is paradise. The Maldives are paradise. My husband and I wanted to visit The Maldives for our honeymoon, almost 29 years ago. Unfortunately, at that time, it was just too pricy to travel from the USA. Fortunately for us, we were able to take this vacation, now, with our two children and another family of four. Not knowing what to expect, except paradise, we must say Reethi Faru even surpassed paradise! We flew into the resort by seaplane. What a fun experience! We were greeted by a full staff and taken to the registration area, where we were presented refreshing drinks and a comfortable place to sit while being instructed about the resort. After checking in we were escorted to our two overwater villas. The whole check in was so personalized. Our rooms were amazing. Hearing the water lapping under the villa was calming. The rooms were clean and provided everything we needed. Plenty of storage space, sitting space, working space (though who needs to be working at a desk in this paradise?), and so much room to move around. The bathrooms provided a tub, and two showers, one in side and one open air. That was a real treat! The deck looked onto the water, the reef and the sunset. It was such a relaxing way to live. Traveling during Covid made it feel like our own private island, thought maybe it is always like that. There is a no shoe policy which kept our stay relaxing. The paths are swept daily by very kind women so there was never concern of stepping on anything. The dining was amazing. We dined mostly at Vakaru, the buffet restaurant. Shiraz (sorry if spelling is incorrect) was our dedicated server. We had a table for eight and he served us every evening of our stay, when we dined at Vakaru. We felt the variety of food and the taste was exceptional. The portions were so big we had to keep asking for "small" servings. The live grill provided wonderful options each night. Breakfast always included the freshest fruits. We also ate at the Grill, where the seafood pizza was the best! One night we dined over water and the ambiance and service were wonderful. We definitely dined well. There are many beaches of the island to enjoy and each one has a slightly different feel, with slightly different bars, but all enjoyable. I would say Nala was our favorite, but all were worth a day. The water sports center was fun. We rented snorkeling gear for the entire week we were there, and spent time snorkeling every day. Although the coral has been ravaged with coral bleaching, the fish were abundant and colorful. And steps are being made to help replenish the coral. We also arranged for a Wave Runner, clear canoe, and Stand Up Paddleboards. We also played with the Sea Bobs. This was a new experience and one that we found to be super fun! The staff at the water sports center was very helpful and accommodating. The spa was beautiful. We enjoyed the boutique and both my husband and one daughter enjoyed massages. They provided a relaxing environment and privacy. Both enjoyed their massages, and the women working there were very sweet. We visited the gym daily. They provide yoga classes and have both cardio equipment and weight equipment. While the humidity probably creates a lot of maintenance for the gym staff, most of the weight equipment and some of the cardio equipment was dated. Victor, bless his heart, got an earful of recommendations from my husband regarding this, and was open to his suggestions. That is the sign of a great manager. The pool had to be closed for unforeseen repairs during our stay, however it did open the day we left and we got a few minutes to enjoy it. I believe this would be an area we would have frequented, with a nice, covered bar. We took a dolphin excursion and were not disappointed. The spinner dolphins were playful and plentiful. After spending a good amount of time with them we headed out to a sand bank. It was a good distance away, and probably one of our favorite memories of this vacation. The sand bank was purely white sand with one small outcropping of a few trees. The water, as everywhere in The Maldives, was crystal clear and a beautiful blue. We snorkeled and explored and sunk into that fine white sand. The staff that drove us out there was so amazingly kind. One member carried our backpack over his head to the island to keep it dry and allow us to have it. Our boat ride back was relaxing after a full day of fun. We relaxed on the roof of the cabin and enjoyed the views of all the islands we passed. The staff and Reethi Faru is superb. We appreciated our server, Shriaz, and his not only being attentive but knowing what we like and anticipating what we needed. Faiz was our house attendant. He took such care of our villa and his desire to go above and beyond showed. The time it took to leave us creative and beautiful messages made out of leaves and flowers made us smile. The amazing animals he created out of towels was heartwarming and the flowers he left for us the first day we arrived stayed fresh and beautiful the entire stay. He took great care in the detail of keeping our room clean and even making sure our swim suits were positioned to dry quickly. He took time to open and close our umbrella each day and straighten up our cushions. We were very impressed with his care. Marco, at the water sports center was patient and helpful. We asked many questions, changed our minds many times and in the end he provided exactly what we needed, always friendly. We also very much appreciated Victor and his ability to listen. We not only were heard, but he addressed our comments. He was also fun to talk to regarding his hometown! Reethi Faru Resort is very eco conscious and we thoroughly appreciated that. Two large bottles of water were supplied to each of our villas daily. They were presented in reusable glass jars. The amenities in the bathroom were presented in reusable ceramic containers. No plastic could be found on the island, and the plastic brought to the island by vacationers was recycled. The commitment to coral regrowth was commendable. The care they take in the environment is noticeable. We had the trip of a lifetime, and were so happy to share it with our children. We would absolutely love to return. We sure wish it were not so far away, but do plan to return, sooner than later!!

Our family of 4 traveled to Reethi Faru the first 2 weeks of June with another family. Seriously, we all felt like we had found paradise! Everything about this resort was amazing from the rooms to the staff to the food to the snorkeling. The weather was perfect and the ocean temperature was perfect. The inside of the island is all tree lined sand paths with the perimeter, which took only 20 minutes to walk around, white sand beaches with the clearest most turquoise water you will ever see. The island has a no shoes policy so you seriously did not have to wear shoes the entire time if you did not want to. There were ladies sweeping the sand paths all the time so you didn't need to worry abut stepping on anything. Sadly most of the coral in the Maldives was killed off a few years ago, but the snorkeling and fish were still amazing! Plus the island is trying to plant and regrow coral. We stayed in the overwater villas. The rooms are darling. We loved the outdoor shower in the bathroom. It was so nice to sit out on the back deck any time of day and be able to just walk down the back steps into the water which was decently shallow. The room was very clean with a small refrigerator, armoire closet, desk, small couch, coffee table and large flat screen tv. The young man that cleaned our room each day did a terrific job coming back a second time each evening to sweep out the days accumulated sand and turn down the bed. He even decorated our beds with these amazing leaf and flower decorations which we looked forward to coming back to each day. There is one main restaurant which is buffet style and then 4 ala carte restaurants on the island. We ate mostly at the buffet. The food was always excellent with a great variety, and the staff were always so nice and had smiles on their faces. We went during Covid so there were not many travelers there, so we had the same table reserved for us the entire stay with the same waiter. Not sure if this is how they would do it during higher traffic times, but it was a nice touch. There is a bar/nightclub and game room for the kids. There was music and karaoke on different nights. One night there was a DJ and we had a blast dancing with our kids. Many people may think of the Maldives as a couples vacation, but this was a great family vacation for us. Unfortunately, the week we were there, the swimming pool was unusable due to maintenance, but the beaches are amazing so it wasn't a problem. Also the manager gave us some complimentary things in order to make up for the pool. We took advantage of the excursions and water sports. We went on a dolphin safari that included a trip out to a sand bank. That was probably my favorite thing of the trip. We saw herds of spinner dolphins. Then to pull up to this small island of the whitest sand with a small cropping of trees and again that signature turquoise ring of the Maldives around the island. We seriously felt like we had washed up the most beautiful deserted island. We had a sunset cruise one night. We rented SUP's, a clear canoe, and the wave runner. We were able to use the Sea Bobs which we had never seen before. If you get a chance, try these out. They were a blast! The spa on the island was also very nice with a cute little boutique and the nicest staff! There is a gym on the island which is a little old but worked fine. They offer yoga classes. Our only comments would be that the wines were a little pricey for what was offered, and we had hoped to get souvenirs with the Reethi Faru name, but they only had things that said "Maldives". Neither issue a game changer. Again, for us, this was the trip of a lifetime!! I am so glad that we chose Reethi Faru. We hated to leave!

Really beautiful and well maintained island escape! They really take the eco-friendly and sustainable approach to running their resort. There was so much to do on the island from photographing the fun palm trees on the beach to trying all the water sports and snorkeling. Our favorite part was the cuisine and loved eating at Reethi Grill the most!
