Hunza Ecolodge is a place for ecotourism which offers glamping, a treehouse and mini camping, or can be rented out as group accommodation, in Southern Hungary. Our 2 ha of land is located at the border of the forest, in a little village, Bodolyaber. The atmosphere is eco, cosy and designed with great care for private areas and communal places, brightened by a big variety of edible plants.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed at hunza as a group of 12 between the treehouse, cabin, boho wagon and a glamping tent. It was incredibly comfortable, the area around was beautiful with accessible hiking directly from the property. We were there for pizza night which was really delicious as well as a wine tasting. I highly recommend arranging a wine tasting even if you don't stay at hunza. The wine is extremely special and sourced from the southern Hungary region with a lot of care.

We spent a week in Hunza and it was wonderful. We traveled with 2 large families and a total of 4 adults and 12 children between 4 and 16 years old. We divided our travel group between a glamping tent, a cabin in the woods, the bohowagon and 2 tents for the oldest children that we brought with us.
Hunza Ecolodgde is highly recommended. The owners live next to the Ecolodge with their children and carry the love for Hungary and their place under their skin. Not only do they offer their own travel guide, updated annually, with countless tips about food, drinks and feasible excursions, but they are also very helpful and accessible to a thousand and one questions about their small-scale paradise and the wider area around it.
On Hunza itself there are very neat sanitary facilities and a well-equipped outdoor kitchen. Everything is completely fine. There is a private vegetable garden, the shower water is heated by wood, and anyone who wants can order a delicious breakfast that will be placed in a wooden crate in front of your tent at the stroke of 8 am. The icing on the cake is a nice bar (the opening hours are written daily on a chalkboard) and a shop with local products. You can also have a basket of laundry washed and folded there at a fair price. Which also applies to everything on Hunza.
Roeland and Milady are proud of their place and radiate a lot of contentment. 'Hun Hunza' is clearly much more than just a way to put bread on the table. It is a way of life that they like to share with others. Their guest table on Friday with pizza and lots of other homemade goodies is highly recommended and a great opportunity to get to know the other Caminp residents.

They are a bit of an adventure cabins place. This is the families life work. From the beautiful tiled individual bathrooms to the look out point, it's all been crated with natural and reclaimed products. There are many lovely features and paths around the garden that lead you to secret places and cabins. There is a lovely outdoor kitchen and seating area. It is,a small shame that it's not really for disabled people due to tge terrain.

We had a wonderful stay at Hunza Ecolodge. The accomodations had all the feelings of wild camping, but comforts of camping resort. There is varying levels of wild available for each guest to enjoy. Love the smell of the garden and the ducks and chickens scampering around. I only wish we were staying during the the summer when the lodge has regular events. Although, in the off season it is peaceful and relaxing. You can feel how much the hosts have dedicated to the experience.

We stayed at Hunza for a weekend in a treehouse. You can only imagine how happy our kids were when they saw this place. Our friends stayed at the cabin, and it is amaizing accommodation too! You can see how much love and effort was put in every little detail. And the nature there is wonderful. It is hard to describe all that sounds and pleasant smells of trees and flowers.Owners, Milady and Roeland, are hospitable and friendly, and you must join their pizza night, because food was so delicious! Beer and wine also! We hiked through the wood, went for a swim in beautiful Orfu lake ( 9 km from Hunza ), and completed our dream trip in lovely Pecs. Hunza, we will be back !

Beautiful place, surrounded by nature. Very friendly and welcoming people. Well thought out what you need as a camper and with great tips for the area. For our family with 5 children a wonderful place to relax and also explore Hungary further! We enjoyed it!

I had a really nice experience staying at Hunza Ecolodge. The location is beautiful and peaceful. It was the perfect place to stay after one day of Budapest. Milady and Roeland and their 2 children are the nicest people. Every morning they serve breakfast with different products of their own and local products. We also had the honour to join their amazing pizza night. There are also a lot of nice hiking trails around the ecolodge. And the beautiful city of Pésc is only a 30min drive away.

We just had the chance to stay for one week in the Hunza ecolodge treehouse. It was a wonderful experience to stay in in this green paradise with positive vibes, kind and helpful hosts offering the best advise for walks, cultural and recreational trips in the area. The variety of things to do around there was very surprising. All written down nicely in their own travel guide. It is very inspiring to see this young family working with joy and passion. Many thanks from Jan and Saartje!
