We stopped here for lunch on a day out looking around the area. The hotel/restaurant is in such a beautiful setting, but hidden away from the main town. We both chose to have an aperitif before lunch and it came with some lovely aperos, goats cheese macarons, red pepper mousse and a gorgeous asparagus soup. I could have eaten that...

We actively seek out independent hotels, in either out of town or rural areas - and the location of this hotel suited us perfectly. We adored...

There was a limited choice for the set menu and also an à la carte menu. The service was friendly and welcoming, the order taking helpful and efficient...

“View all available rooms - the rooms overlooking the river have gorgeous views, and have that fresh 'country air' fragrance, with the obvious sound of cascading running water. If you like these attributes, then these will be fine - but if you like peace and quiet, maybe a room on the opposite side would suit you better.”
