Hill retreat spread over 10 acres of misty mountains of western ghats in Northern Kerala. We are eco-friendly, yet have modern, spacious and well furnished rooms with balconies overlooking the mountains, elegant dormitories with lockable wardrobes for budget stay, an Ayurveda centre specialized in the five action body cleansing process called Panchkarma and a pyramid shaped meditation hall called Osho Pyramid. You are welcome to enjoy the daily meditations with us without any extra charges. So, we offer you a holistic wellness experience by total detoxification of body mind. Healing the body through Panchkarma, vegetarian food made of fresh produce from in-house organic farm, purified spring water from the mountains and fresh air. Deconditioning the mind through meditation, silence and celebration.
My wife and I stayed at Sattwa for one day this month (October 2020). This was our first trip since in a long time. We reached the resort at 9 am. It was early but still the people at the Reception made us comfortable and allowed early check in as our room was not occupied. Our luggage was sanitized and we were shown our rooms. Cars have to be parked outside the second gate. You have to walk to your rooms but we were permitted to take our car a little inside as my camera luggage was heavy. Rooms and washrooms very clean. The main reason we came here was for bird watching and photography. We didnt see much birds as the weather was cloudy and it had rained the previous day. Pools were not allowed to be used due to Corona and the resort strictly followed government norms during the pandemic.There is ample space in the resort for nature lovers. there were different walkways and we did enjoy the silence except for birds and natural sounds. There is also a stream nearby. This is a place for people who enjoy nature. There is a meditation centre but it was not opened due to the covid protocols being followed here. The food was above average. We did enjoy the complimentary breakfast and all other food. You have to order your food in advance. Service was excellent. We will visit Sattva again and do recommend this place for families.

It’s definitely a 5 star for the location. Aweosme. The supreme deluxe rooms got awesome view. Towards the pool, the view of 3 mountains surrounding the resort is just heavenly. The view from the rooms is just awesome and you don’t feel to do any other activity when here rather than staring at the nature. The climate is superb, cold and never ending breeze made the days here really worthy. The food options need to be improved. There was quite a lot in menu, but hardly few to offer us during the 2 night stay. We’re told meals can be arranged if we precook, did that for 2 days and we it’s not done. Had to rely on fried rice and noodles for lunch and dinner for 2 days. Please try to get more food options. The property was given for groups who visits in the morning and leave by evening. Not recommended for such a property to entertain this as the guests staying there found it really difficult. During the 2 days of our stay a group of around 30 people were using the pool at a time. Felt it unsuitable for the ambience of the resort and was not in state of mind to go near the pool after the group allotment in the pool. Couldn’t stay there peacefully during their visit hours. Though we were given 1 hour slots for using the pool, there was no one to control near the pool. During our time, some other guests too used the pool, we wondered why they kept the slots for… the staffs to whom we seek help regarding route, nearby attractions, food, had absolutely no idea about anything there. They were appointed for last 1.5 months and lacked training.
If improved a bit, this property definitely demands a 5 star.

On 27th and 28th of last February, my family and I had a wonderful time at 'Sattva the Awakening Garden' at Kakkadampoyyil. It's location and ambience is so superb.The time we spent there made us feel very close to the Nature. The whole property is well maintained, serene with good hygiene. The staff there is hospitable and cordial in all respects. We had a tasty and suptuous dinner and breakfast .The location and position of our rooms were amazing as it lent a marvellous and panoramic view of the Ghats from our balcony. The swimming pool with fresh and crystal clear water gave us a wonderful experience. Really memorable and highly recommended. John Antony Maniamkot

I booked 4 rooms in this property to unwind and relax with my family. With all the reviews shared regarding this property, I was expecting a calm and peaceful atmosphere. However, what I experienced when I reached the location was just the opposite. There was a huge crowd of about 30-40 people in the premises, who were just hogging all the common areas and facilities. I was surprised to see such a huge crowd as they have very few rooms. That is when I was informed that those were a group booking for day activity. What made it worse was that all of these folks were roaming around the property without wearing any mask and no social distancing. While I pointed this out to the manager in the property, there was still no action from their side. All of us decided to go back to the room and just remain holed up inside until the group left. So my plan to unwind and relax was gone in the wind. Even next day morning, there was a biker group who was visiting the property and hence we had to wait for them to leave before having breakfast. I am not against day packages, but then there should not be allowed to disturb guests who have paid for rooms looking for a peaceful atmosphere. If your are looking to have a peaceful and calm atmosphere, then I would recommend you stay away from this property. The only reason why I am giving two stars instead on one star is because of the excellent staff they have (except the so called manager who looked completely incapable of running such a place)

I was one of the lead facilitators of the RuH retreat and it was a pleasure to host the retreat in Satva meditation resort. The staff was very helpful and so was the food of absolute delight, we relished on kerela cuisine. The whole ambience of the resort is a treat.
I highly recommend Sattva for co- travellers walking on the path of seeking their higher self!!

My stay at Sattva was very pleasant and peaceful. I visited the resort with my family and even though it was a short trip, we enjoyed every second we spent there. The scrumptious food that the chef so expertly prepared for us, the swimming pool and other activities there fit perfectly for our short stay.
When we arrived, they made sure to follow all covid protocols. Sanitized our bags and ourselves, temperature tests. And because of this pandemic, there were not a lot of activities as before due to this pandemic like spa, fitness, yoga and Ayurvedic centers but they are slowly opening them all up once again.
We will definitely be going back there so we can get the full Sattva experience and trust me, this place is worth it.

Had a reservation for the family for 24 members.. But unfortunately, couldn't go and had to cancel reservation..they had guaranteed a complete refund within 5 working days... It's been one month now, and they have not refunded the amount, They are not even answering the call ...Very Very disappointing !!

We had a great stay with sattva resort.The location was fabulous,good staffs. What a place yaar. Simply calm and quite. We loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staffs were always friendly to guests. the breakfast ensured the needs of us. The resort ambience is superb.

It was an escape for us from our busy schedule. Situated at the picturesque small hill station kakadampoyil. The property was very clean and mingles well with nature. Staff were very courteous. room was very good with good views and facilities. Food was average. Overall our experience was very good.

Excellent place to go with family and relax . Owner is very friendly . Food is delicious. Rooms are extremely clean spacious and pleasant. Staffs are friendly and serve with a smile. You can enjoy rain and wind here . Meditation hall is superb with a good sound system and offering free meditation .
