Staying at Chirping Orchard was great fun. We visit them almost every year. Rooms on the 1st floor are spacious and comfortable for senior citizens. It also has commanding views of the valley. Staff is very cordial and flexible. Meals are freshly cooked and have balanced oils and spices. I particularly love their open area.

Visited Chirping Orchard on July 10 for four days. Nice views and great food. The orchard was full of apples and pears. Rooms on the 2nd floor give you views from the bed itself. One can just sit in the the balcony and keep enjoying the unobstructed views.

The Property is good and the food that they served was good but the Hotel Owner Alok and his staff Himanshu & Harish are just too BAD. I booked them directly without using any platform and paid a substantial amount of advance with full risk of mine. When I reached the hotel (after a drive of 12 hrs from Delhi in a TT) with a group of 14 people without even offering water they asked me to pay the full balance amount and then they would give me the keys for the room. They say it’s a rule in Mukteshwar. The staff Himanshu bluntly said that and was supported by his co-staff Harish and owner Alok. Pls be aware of they over charging you for your food or for your drivers stay or his food even. They need to learn what customer satisfaction is and how easy that can be a good marketing tool.

The location is excellent and so is the service. Can't find a better place that this resort in Mukteshwar area. The staff is already ready to serve and the views are awesome. Most of the resorts dont offer these kind of open spaces and lawns and the rooms are also more spacious than your typical hotel/resort rooms.

We visited this beautiful property recently. Rooms alloted to us were neat and clean. Food served was fresh and scrumptious. Best part was the hospitality and staff behaviour. Mr Alok was really cooperative and courteous. Himanshu bhaiya offered us some tasty raagi cookies with tea, which we also purchased later from their in house bakery. Children had a really great time with BROWNIE 🐕. They also have indoor and outdoor games for children, alongwith a good collection of books. Great time spend over-all. Will surely look forward to stay here in future. Keep up the standards high Chirping orchard 🤘

We stayed for 3 days at The Chirping Orchard during a family trip in May 2022. The location was very good and the rooms were clean. We had booked 3 rooms on the first floor, which had nice sit out area in the front. We could see different birds at this place. Special thanks to Rajesh and Harish. Rajesh ji helped us with the room service and also taking care of us in the restaurant. He was always available for any help with a smile on his face. Harish ji helped us couple of forest walks nearby the property, He has good knowledge about the local trees and birds. We had left few of our bags at the property as we didn't need them during our trek in Binsar. Harish ji helped us in delivering our bags safely to our last destination (Naukuchiatal). The owner, Alok Rai is also a nice person. They own a cafe, Chirping Tales and a bakery, Mukteshwar bakery. We tried food / cookies from both places and it was good. We saw a branch of Mukteshwar bakery in Bhimtal. If they could serve few local Kumaoni dishes for lunch and dinner, it would have given a local feel. Overall good experience.

A really beautiful place situated in a rather quiet and peaceful location in Mukteshwar. Reaching there, especially at night can be a little challenging though because the hotel board on the main road is very small and not very lit up and visible. However the people at the hotel were kind enough to call us guide and guide us to the exact location at that time. We stayed at the property for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Firstly the location is beautiful as the cottages are located between the magnificent hills of Uttarakhand. Rooms are spacious and so is the bathroom. All the things were clean and well-kept as well. They have a common area for dinning and chilling, were you can choose out of some amazing titles to read along the valley-side. They also have some games kept there so children can enjoy as well. The staff was super helpful and polite throughout. We were hosted by Harish and Rajesh among all the other staff present there. The food was pretty good as well and you can try some local kumaoni delicacies, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. They also have lots of open space and a lawn with peach, plum and apple trees and a lot other freshly grown small crops like rosemary. The staff present there can also guide you and take you for walks throughout the surrounding hills and forests. The best thing about the property and the location is birds. If you are someone who admires birds you will be in for a treat. The entire day there are a lot of birds near the property itself because of the abundance of trees and vegetation for them. But also going around for small hikes can be really fruitful as you’ll have some of the best bird sighting experiences of your life. In general an amazing place to stay if you’re in Mukteshwar.

The Chirping Orchard, beautiful resort surrounded with mountains and valleys. Lush green gardens (depends on which month you are traveling in) and absolutely warm hospitality by the staffs. To be honest it felt like home away from home. The glass door cafeteria is my forever goto place on cold evenings, anytime (If you are a chai lover, don't forget to have Hemant's lemon-ginger tea while basking in the warmth of book corner. From food to the stay, every single person in the thread takes care of your requirements & makes it feel like home. ❤️ Alok & Anupam had been kind enough to reassure the same. While your stay, whatever you need, Harish is your guy. Best part is one can travel with pets during family trip, just request for the specific requirements before hand. Keep spreading love TEAM.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at this homestay property. It is located at the fag end of a narrow winding road and shares the approach road with properties nearby, twice we had to reverse uphill to let another vehicle pass by. This was expected due to the rush around year end, though. In terms of the property itself, it has a basic look and feel. Rooms overlook the valley on one side and the backside opens into a courtyard shared with nearby houses. While booking, we were told the rooms do not provide any heaters but instead bed warmers are provided. However, with temperatures hitting zero, one surely misses a room heater. There was an electric kettle but without any tea/coffee sachets - we ended up ordering tea from the kitchen, each order would take 20-25 mins. Food was average - we did order a number of starters and main course options and the taste was quite inconsistent. We ordered some chowmein but had to send it back since it was heavy on salt. Lunch took an average of 50-60 minutes each time and this was a bit of a disappointment - we were told this is standard since everything is cooked fresh. The highlight of our stay, however, was the bonfire that the property arranged for all guests. It was nicely managed and wood was replenished by the staff each time the fire went down. Overall, we had higher expectations from the reviews we read and pictures we saw but came away thinking there's still potential for improvement for Chirping Orchard.

We stayed at chirping orchard mukteshwar from 29th Aug to 2nd September and the stay was quite peaceful (what we had been hoping for). The weather changed many colors and on one lucky day we got an eyeful of snow clad Himalayas. The staff is quite responsive and place has a cozy feel to it. I enjoyed plenty of outdoors and my kids even played badminton most of days. The resort has unobstructed views and ample garden space. Breakfast is limited but we enjoyed homely food(exactly to our taste) in dinner. Because of rains we couldn't go for walks etc...but the resort has ample open spaces. The USP of the place is the glass restaurant which is ideal for spending time in almost any weather. I spent most of my mornings and evenings there. Just open the glass windows there and the nature enters in quickly. It is a carefully crafted place with nice collection of books, space for reading and gazing at layers of mountains. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would love to come back for another interesting conversation with Alokji, one of the owners of place. Our best wishes for your future endeavors. Special mention for Harish, the manager and staff Himanshu and Yogesh. A trip to remember...
