Tranquilandia is a typical break from the urban grind and provides a taste of rural life. We have 4 cottages to offer: a Bamboo cottage with thatched roof, 3 cottages with tiled roof, all have twin beds and bathroom attached. The beakfast is complimentary and dinner is chargeable. Food is cooked by us at home. We have a Yoga Hall for daily practice, a natural swimming pool without chemicals,a play area for kids and an open space for dinning. You can walks to tribal villages nearby, go to Sirvani river, visit Silent Valley and enjoy sunrise and sunset view points. Clean outings and get together to help unlock the potentials of body and minds in pristine environments. This is Tranquilandia for you.
We spent only one night. It was awesome experience. The swimming pool gave the experience of a natural pond- totally chemical free. Food served by shahul and Sandrine was just homely. The banana 🍰 by Sandrine is a must try . The ambiance is super cool. You'll experience non polluted virgin air. Day time it was lil hot but night we need not use fan. If you want to spend a weekend with nature come here. Thank you shahul and Sandrine for a wonderful experience.

We chose to stay at Tranquilandia last week when we looked for a serene place with no extra frills nor much crowd and really had an awesome time there.
Though I heard about Shahul and Sandrine’s Tranquilandia from my brother who knew about it from the time they had set up the place years back, It was my 1st experience visiting the place and meeting these wonderful souls and their blessed kids Mia & Vidya who love to welcome their guests.
Mia & Vidya were so open for talk and they entertained my daughter and son so well throughout the stay.
The location of this place is perfect for nature lovers and who want to experience nature at its fullest and to get the company of a wonderful family out there who love to spend their time with you. The place is full with trees, flowering plants, butterflies on the flowers and above all the sound of bird chirps whole day.
You can see three friendly dogs, 3 different breed guarding the place. They would love to stick around you expecting your cuddles.
The room we stayed in had all basic amenities with an extra bed for four of us and was a perfect fit for that kind of environment. There is a clean swimming pool next to the room with fresh water from well, surrounded by greenery creating a lovely atmosphere to swim.
They cooked us some delicious chicken curry, paneer and mushroom for dinner and the authentic Kerala style breakfast (Puttu with Banana, Fish Curry & the healthy Chickpeas Masala- All with a Shahul’s touch). Not to forget the fresh loaves and coffee by Sandrine at 06:30 AM which gave us energy for a long walk which we took to the view point before we had our late breakfast.
I would definitely recommend the place for the ones who love to stay tranquil from their busy life and for those who love to spend time with nature. There are some good spots nearby offering scenic views and mountain terrain for a drive.

The stay there was amazing! Tranquilandia is truly a relaxing place and staying here is an excellent way to take a break from studies or any stress with a lovely welcoming family. Tranquilandia - Peaceful Land. A place really everyone has to visit once in a while. Sandrine is the best host, she is the women behind the property who has many roles like taking the bookings, handling the finances, maintaining the rooms, cooking the food. Shakul is the man who has a wide knowledge about various fields and an extra ordinary chef too. Their two daughters MIA & VIDHYA are two princess who take good care of the kids. Food is awesome, Location and Ambiance is too good. Swimming Pool is good for kids to spent time well. Rooms are pretty ok. Weekend Getaway can be planned. A good place for rejuvenating your body, mind and soul for a day. We will definitely come back. Boomerang.

We were looking to stay in Anaikatty for one night and found Tranquilandia with very decent prizing and good reviews.
The hosts were amazing and we have had a great welcome.
The resort was surrounded by natural vibes and it is ideal for rejuvenation.
The place is really equipped with trees , mountains and pool.
The food was really delicious and it was prepared from their home and served in hot.
The children loved the frenchy style of hot chocolate.
As a family, we have had very great and lovely time and it stays in our memories for longer time.
Thanks to the wonderful hosts and their children (Really helpful).
I would strongly recommend to visit this place and you never get disappointed.

The place we stayed at Tranquilandia for 1 night was an exhilarating experience filled with nature and wildlife. The location was serene and natural with many animals, and it had a pool with no chlorine which was kept very clean and very fun to swim in. We personally as a family enjoyed this due to the pool and the food which was scrumptious.

We stayed at Tranquilandia for 2 days recently and really had a great time there.
The location of this place is perfect for nature lovers and people who want to experience nature at its fullest.
The whole place is covered by trees, and a variety of plants with insects, butterflies, and bird sounds ringing in our ears throughout the day. There are 3 amazing dogs with the elder one being the calmest and sweetest and the youngest one being really playful. They will always be around you waiting for cuddles.
The room we stayed in had all basic amenities and was a perfect fit for that kind of environment, there is a swimming pool next to the room surrounded by neem and sandal trees creating a beautiful atmosphere to enjoy a swim.
The family who hosted were welcoming and friendly, they cooked us some delicious chicken curry for dinner and authentic south Indian foods for breakfast during the course of our stay. 2 little daughters were also open for conversation and we had a fun time getting to talk with them and know them, also enjoyed seeing them playing with their dogs.
The 2 days went by really quickly, there are some great spots nearby that are within a 30min to 1-hour drive offering scenic views of the river and the mountain terrain. Would definitely recommend it for people who are looking to disconnect from the busy city life and for those who enjoy spending time alone in nature.

I spent almost a week at Tranquilandia (early March 2020) and it has been an excellent stay. The family Sandrine, her husband and their daughters are wonderful people, very helpful and make you feel like at home. The food is excellent, the lodge is fine and confortable, there is a swimming pool, great for hot times and you can do several walks around, including one to the village and a river. Sandrine is a yoga instructor and her lessons at 6:45 were very appreciated. The girls are adorables and it is very good to be around them. C’est vraiment une excellente adresse. Ces 5 jours auraient pu durer bien plus longtemps et j’espère revenir! C’est très calme et dans la belle nature et permet une autre approche de l’Inde. Merci à toute la famille pour votre gentillesse ( et m’avoir accompagné faire des courses d épices et vêtements traditionnels a rapporter en France !)

Awesome place to escape from our busy city life. We had a fantastic time there. Their hospitality was so good. It has a swimming pool with natural river water and best part is chlorine free. They clean and refill the pool for every guest. The homemade food they provided us was soo delicious, we had soup,roasted chicken ,chicken gravy with chapathi for dinner and puttu, channa gravy, fruits n juice for breakfast. Puttu was very authentic. The place was fully surrounded by plants, flowers , colourful butterflies and dragonflies. 😊 totally we had the most peaceful, relaxed n joyful days.

Awesome and a very nice place to stay in Tranquilandia which is surrounded by hills and wonderful landscape. Managed by a fantastic family who treats their guests like real guests unlike any hotel where guests are treated robotically. Definitely you will enjoy the location and spend wonderful time with your family. Safe and excellent food during the full stay. The place is filled with greenery and lots of trees. The place also has a comfortably sized playground to play with your family members. Swimming pool with fresh water (no chlorine) was really a delight. Long story short, Tranquilandia is a perfect getaway from the urban hustle and bustle.

We stayed at Tranqulindia It's very hard to describe the beauty of that place in one review. They treat everyone like their own family. (Unfortunately, we missed Sandrine, Mia & Vidhya. But surely will meet everyone next time.) The extreme hygiene and tastiest food we had that because they make the food with love😍😋 My son become an amphibian since he loved the freshwater pool which is added with natural leaves 🍂 Wake up with a Bird chirping sound 🐦 Having food with beautiful butterflies 🦋 Enjoying the pool with natural leaves 🍂 Nature will completely heal your body, mind, and soul. If you visit you will get a soulful, divine, and calming experience. If you are a nature lover this is the best place to be.
