Aeolis is a brand new residence in Lesvos island far from the tourist mass. Is located in Geras gulf only 20 minutes drive from the centre, port and airport. This historical location provided us with the stone, water, colours and inspiration to create self-contained and spacious residences in idyllic surroundings by the sea. Aeolis has 4 maisonnettes, 2 small apartments, 2 studios and 2 double rooms built around the swimming pool.

Detailed Reviews
I just got back home from Aeolis and had such a good time, felt I really needed to post a review. My room was great, the food was amazing, the location right next to the sea could not be better, plus option to swim in their lovely pool. Staff are really friendly and helpful. A well deserved 5 stars from me. I will definitely visit again.

Excellent place to stay at Gera, right in the middle of Plomari and Mytilene. Great tavernas in the area. Amazing host, great hospitality!!!
Different item in breakfast everyday and enjoy local delicacies. Spend an evening by the pool with a drink from the bar.

My best recommendations for Aeolis Luxury Apartments & Studios! 10 out of 10! New, fresh, clean, fancy, no complaints on whatsoever! We stayed about august 15th only for one night and I wish I had booked it a little longer. Small hotel, which I prefer, nice pool (but cold) but I must admit the environments have a small part in my judgement; the Gera gulf water is about 10 degrees warmer than the open sea water. The sea is fantastic for families with small children as water is very shallow for appr. 50-70 meters out at sea. Authentic, nice restarurants not far away from hotel ( I recommend going south for a few km, "push" your way through the very small city of Perama and watch out for restarurant at left side, just wonderful at seaside...) I envy you who are going here!

First time at Gera beach in lesvos and we tried aeolis studios. The location is great, far enough from the city but close enough to visit mytiline on a regular basis. The rooms are clean, the grounds and the pool are kept in great shape. The owners take pride in how they treat their guests. I will come back to this area and this is where I will stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay Sofia and Despina

Love exploring the Greek Islands and have been to Lesvos several times before although mostly to Molyvos, Eressos and Petra. This year we had the good luck to find the Aeolis Apartments in the Gulf of Gera. The apartments and studios were beautiful with lots of space inside and out, which was something that we were dying for after 2 weeks of traveling around tiny apartments with 2 young kids. Everything was immaculate with luxury bathrooms and kitchens. The pool was large and the sea just across the road with sweet beaches covered in shells. The price was more than fair for the standard of accommodation.
Daisy and her family could not have been more helpful from ordering us take away souvlaki from one of the best grill shops in Greece to bring us gifts of freshly laid eggs for the kids and fruit from their garden.
Evriaka is quaint with a tiny harbour, a couple of nice tavernas and bars, a bakery and coffee shop. The Gulf of Gera is unspoilt Greece with tiny villages and pretty tavernas.
We found this at the end of our holiday and were sad not to be able to stay longer but will definitely go back. This is the first time I have been motivated to write a review and would recommend Aeolis Apartments to any one.

We have just spent a week in Aeolis apartments and studios in Lesbos. This is a great accomodation in a quiet village only 15 metres from the shore of Gera Gulf. They have beautiful rooms, with seaview, a great pool, a lovely garden and Daisy, the owner is a great host who is always there to help you, or just for a chat. Aeolis is only a half an hour drive away from Mytilini and in a very central spot on the island. We had a great time!!!

Turned up at the hotel in hire car (it is relatively remote) to be told existing guests had asked to extend. As they were 'business' guests they were allowed to do so and I was bounced to an 'alternative' they had arranged more than 6km down the road. Instructions to get there poor. Was then a self catering facility with no common area/facility and remote from any restaurant. Unapologetic.

A very nice hotel in a quite and traditional village. Rooms are large and comfortable, Breakfast is great. The area is very close to the atraction sides, such as agiasos and plomari. But the best part of the hotel is the owners. The hospitality and close attention of two sisters is exceptional.

Wonderful small hotel in Gera. Great ocean views and a true relaxing Greek vacation. Hotel is immaculate and nicely decorated. Owners are very friendly and hospitable.
I am a travel agent and would definitely recommend this to my clients who want a true Greek Island vacation without all the Glitz of a big hotel. Great pool for kids.
My family and I look forward to our next visit to Mytilini and we will be going back to Aeolis.

I made a reservation on a Booking for a double room and was expecting something much better according to photos on site. Also, the pictures of food attracted my attention, but nothing of that rally happened.
We got a very poor decorated room with few peaces of furniture – no cattle, no glasses, no ice when we asked for one...nothing, a tiny refrigerator on a floor. Very small bathroom with broken shower and a balcony without any shade with a partial see view (the other part is a roof). More like a backpackers place than a luxury apartments.
The other thing that bothered me was a breakfast that you have to order a night before and to know exact what do you want to eat and the exact time in the morning when you want to eat. Your scrambled eggs will be left for you on a table in time and if you, in any case, do not come immediately, it will get cold and not eatable. I would call this a business model for breakfast, rather than a holiday one. We gave up from breakfast at our second day.
And all that thing about organic stuff is too much. You have to know that everything is organic on the Lesvos island and that is exactly what makes it so favorable destination in Greece.
A strange thing happened at our last day, the cleaning lady left us a handwritten note on the toilet that we should not throw a paper in a toilet. As a very frequent visitor of a Greek islands I am very familiar wit this problem, but if there is no sign anywhere, I will assume that throwing paper is OK. So, this convinced me that they did not care much about that room and that it is just a room for housekeeper or something similar.
I guess that there are some good rooms and apartments, according to reviews, but our experience was very disappointing.
