This hotel sits 10 minutes from the harbor where most speed boats arrive and is located perfectly for road trips to the major tourist sights on the island. Also, within 10 minute walking distance you'll find a beach ideal for snorkeling. The staff was super firnedly. No passport check required. At one time there was a problem with the WIFI, the staff let us use the data from her cell phone. That is outstanding service. The hotel is very quiet and offers spacious rooms. As for the cons, there is no fridge in the room and WIFI can be unrealiable at times. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

I can not rave about this hotel and the staff enough. Very clean and large rooms, we had a garden view. The pool is a sun trap which is a must, and when entering the pool it is very warm with low chlorine which is great. The staff really made this stay amazing, unfortunately I had a touch of Bali belly and the staff gave me some medication and Gauva juice free of charge as they were so helpful and wanted me to get better. Thank you so so much for being so amazing. I will definitely be returning. Unfortunately I did not take enough photos but trust me, this is the only resort you should stay on when visiting Nusa Penida

Penida is a pretty big island but in our opinion the Ped area where Ring Sameton is located is the best area to stay. It’s right opposite the beach with plenty of cafes & warungs to dine or drink or just chill & watch the boats come & go. The rooms are clean & basic, the pool is nice & the staff are very helpful & friendly. They offer good value for money & will help you arrange any travel needs you may have. We extended our stay from 2 to 5 nights to enjoy all this beautiful island has. Highly recommend this hotel to you.

I booked via email and once we got here the staff told us only the higher priced bungalows were available because it was full even though the hotel had only a couple guests. On check in they told us that if I would pay at checkout they would have to hold my passport? Never seen this anywhere before and declined so had to pay upfront with a 3% surcharge on credit card. Breakfast is very poor. Air conditioning in the room was very weak, they could not fix it and did not offered a different room. Water for the showers and pool is salty. Otherwise is ok.

Location was awesome and grounds were beautiful. It was less than 5 minutes from the dive shop we used, easy to walk to (even with our luggage that we brought with us from th dive shop). But plumbing was broken in our room, and though facilities tried to fix it, they were unsuccessful and had to move us to another room. The other room was larger, but close to the front of the property and nearer to the beach but with that, the live band noise. Both rooms seemed a bit old, but other than plumbing problem and noise, rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast food was just OK. The staff was however amazing - got us on an earlier ferry when I realized my flight out of Bali was a few hours earlier than I had planned for. Kudos to the staff, amazing.

We came to Ring Sameton in March 2023 after having made a booking on Hotels.com.

Upon seeing the room, we found spots on the bedsheets, brown stains on the towels, mould in the shower and cockroaches under the bed.

The pool was cloudy and the entire pool area very dirty.

We were showed two more rooms, but all had stains on the bedding, so we decided to ask for a refund.

The manager promised us a refund but said that it had to go through Expedia. We found another hotel and filed the claim for a refund. A few days later we were told by Expedia that the management had declined giving us the promised refund.

Avoid Ring Sameton on Nusa Penida at all costs. We found another hotel a few kilometers down the coast that was cheaper, clean, friendly and closer to the ocean.

What a disappointment... when you enter the site it looks fine; nice swimming pool and great welcome at reception. However, the room is so incredibly dirty, especially the bathroom... full of mold and even blood on the wall. Of course we reported this to reception, after which we were assigned another room, which was literally just as dirty. Really not a nice experience, it just smells and doesn't feel nice. Blood in the blankets, dirty chairs, really gross. Location, on the other hand, is ideal, just like the banana pancakes for breakfast, which are also tasty ;)

We were welcomed by Indah , at Ring Sameton resort who proposed us a full day visit to Nusa by taxi...
We had the de luxe studio, very big room close to the swimming pool, not recently redone but very clean .WiFi and AC working perfectly, the room has been redon every quickly, as soon as we went to have Bfast .
We had 2 new bottles of mineral water every day
Breakfast , a la carte , was varied , hearty and very good.
I'll go back to this resort , if back to Ped, Nusa Penida

The resort is a beautiful structure with independent rooms such as villas and others as hotel rooms, however acceptable, both for care and for cleanliness and tranquility. Very green with a nice swimming pool with bar available. Very calm and tranquility. Friendly and courteous staff

This resort is in a great location surrounded by gardens. Even though it is close to the main road it is set back and so very quiet. There are lovely restaurants just across the road and several have live music every night. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We were upgraded to s bungalow which was very nice. Air conditioner works well. Breakfast is adequate. The staff are extremely helpful and will organise anything for you. The pool is large and beautiful.Definitely recommend this resort.
