I stayed 6 days @ Mambo Dive Resort and loved it. The resort itself is pretty new and you can tell. Everything is taken care into detail. The external areas are very charming, lots of tiny lights and plants hanging and creating a warm atmosphere. You can seat upstairs in a covered area, or downstairs, open air right by the beach. A couple of pools (one mainly used by the dive shop) facing the sea. Bali is in front of the resort, right across the sea, and with no couds, you can see the mount Agung just as you open your the window doors of your room. Great view from the upstairs rooms. Rooms are cosy and taken care in the smallest detail. The linoleum floor may not be as natural as nude wood, but I imagine it is done to smoothen the noise on the rooms downstairs. Rooms are equipped with brand-new towels, hair dryer, two glass bottles of water (and glasses), a kettle, tea, coffee, a small fridge with soft drinks/beers, and also a safe. The bed is comfortable and so are the pillows. You have a tv too, though I had no interest on turning it on, so cannot tell more about it. Bathrooms are bright, with a beautiful well-thought window by the sea, allowing view of the sea, natural light and privacy at once. Lavender soap and shower gel, and Tea Rose shampoo are provided in dispensers. In the room you also get a small bag with some tiny useful tools and products: a natural mosquito repellent spray, a sunscreen, a tiny hairbrush, toothbrushes…little touches that make a difference to enjoy your stay and feel pampered. The terrace has two lovely sofas on the sides for the upstairs rooms, and one loveuse chair and a sofa for the downstair rooms.
You are welcomed with a cocktail (lemonade with pink hymalayan salt), which you can enjoy by the beach. Breakfast: you have two sets with 4 sets of options to chose from each (from toasts to salad, rice, eggs, porridge fruit platter…). All in all, I enjoyed very much my stay. Cosy rooms, friendly, helpful and kind staff, very very lovely structure and location. The restaurants is open throughout the day, although, I have only enjoyed a selection of juices by the beach. The atm becomes very charming in the evening, with all the tiny lights and plants hanging on and around the tables. Could also rent scooters through the staff at a good rate. Special thanks to Mario and Nusan for their kindness and helpfulness. Fully recommended.

Mambo Beach Resort was an outstanding value-for-money accomodation option for our family. We rented 2 rooms for a family of four; rooms were spotlessly clean with spacious shower/bathroom; bed was very comfortable and the balcony offered a wonderful view of the beach and Bali mainland on the horizon. Ground-floor rooms fronted onto a separate swimming pool.
Staff of the resort were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast offered a range of options which perfectly suited our family and we were able to eat with the sound of gentle lapping waves a few metres away.
For the money, Mambo Beach Resort is, to our mind, a great accomodation option for those wishing to spend a night or more on Nusa Penida. Indeed, to not stay at least a night, is to miss the true value of this wonderful island. We came across people who were here only for the day and the timing of return trips to Bali mainland prevented them from making the most on offer.
One of the reasons we wanted to visit the island was to be able to snorkel and we found there was excellent snorkelling straight out from the Resort. One important tip is for those wishing to do this, ensure you where footwear to avoid cuts from the broken coral as you first venture out. A few tens of metres beyond we saw brilliant live coral teaming with myriad varieties of fish and crustacea.

There are options to chose from where to stay at the beach. They have spaces to have food and drinks near the ocean.
The brekafast was very tasty and you get to choose what you want.

We stayed 4 nights at Mambo Beach Resort and it was totally worth it. The fantastic views from our room, the always-smiling staff and the 30 seconds walk to the beach are the main things to remember. The rooms are very comfortable. There is a laundromat and a spot to rent scooters that you can walk to in 1 minute from the resort. 100% would come again.

Putu Diana has been such a friendly host remembering our names and helping above and beyond, answering questions as well as serving breakfast and cleaning our rooms. His other colleague Putu who helped us with bike rentals too deserves a special mention - she was great! We've had 3 amazing days here. The pool is gorgeous as is the beach bar... the rooms too! Would love to stay a few more nights, but sadly moving on!

The hotel is beautiful. The dream atmosphere. The rooms overlook a pool and there is great attention to detail such as bathroom set or glass bottled water. Breakfast is varied and super plentiful. Beach towels are provided and in the evening there is. Always live music. The flaw is that the sea in front has a very strong current and you can not swim easily, least of all Snorkeling. The hotel offers free shuttle to and from the port is opposite there is a car rental that you can take advantage of. The hotel also offers excursions by land and sea. It is located on a small street where you can not walk because it is a sliding road and there are no restaurants but the hotel is so cute that Recommendation to stay inside for dinner!

I had a good time at Mambo Resort. The resort is charming and I like the colorful roofs.
The room itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows are comfortable. It has great attention to details for all the guests’s need.
The shower water in the bathroom is hot and it has strong pressure. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable.
The room has direct access to the swimming pool.
The resort also has a beachfront restaurant that sells various kind of foods and drinks.
The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed our time here. We had a room with pool access. The rooms were clean and decorated in a boho style. The rooms are a bit noisy but as divers we had to get up early anyway. The air conditioning works well. There were hardly any mosquitoes when we were there. Since we often met up very early to go diving (07:00, 06:30) we were able to pre-order breakfast earlier than 7 a.m. the night before. The breakfast selection was sufficient. There was drinking water in the room and you could also help yourself to water at the diving center. The hotel avoids cans and plastic bottles as much as possible, which I thought was very good. That's why there were no soft drinks in the hotel. The price-performance ratio was right for us.

These lovely clean rooms with balcony allow you to chill after diving, or just hang out by the pool. The very friendly staff will make you deelbaar home. In the evening you can watch the sun go down over a drink, sometimes with live music (classic rock, if that’s your thing).

"Great resort on the beach"
Mambo Beach Resort is located directly on the beach. It is a small cozy complex with restaurant and beach bar. The rooms all have sea view and some have direct access to the pool :-) The food and drinks were delicious. The staff is extremely careful and friendly!
Tours of the integrated diving school can be booked at the reception.
We booked a boat trip to Manta Point. We can really recommend this tour. It was an amazing experience to snorkel with manta rays :-) We enjoyed our stay very much.

Hi, go to Sanur Harbour, take a fast boat (45 minutes) to Banjar Nyuh Harbour or Toyapakeh Harbour in Nusa Penida. Banjar Nyuh is slighly nearer. Take a taxi to Mambo beach resort (6 minutes) or ask the hotel whether they can transport.
Hello, I am sorry, we are fully booked.
