This review is from a stay in February 2020. The staff and owners make this place unbelievable.
The island is very rugged and it isn’t easily walkable, especially when you’re travelling with a young child (4.5 year old). That wasn’t a problem because the owner took my husband on his scooter to the dive shop on a daily basis with no additional charge. The other owner (brothers) took me and my son on private tours around the entire island. It was inexpensive and worth every penny! He carried my son up and down hundreds of stairs in the sweltering heat. The trip was quite bumpy and my son threw up in his vehicle. He was super understanding and helped run my sons back and get him water and cleaned up the mess. Staff played with my son daily in the courtyard area and he loved it.
Breakfast was preordered the day before and delivered on time as requested. It was delicious and none of us had any complaints. They made special pancakes for our son and everything.
The one downfall for us was the lack of pool given the extreme heat of the island. But again, it wasn’t an issue because of the amazing staff. They secured a trip for us to the neighbouring hotel where we were able to enjoy a dinner as well as some amazing pool time.
The cottages are exactly as pictured. The bungalows are very rustic with an air conditioner and large bathroom. The air conditioners have a hard time keeping up, but that was normal in all of the hotels we stayed at in Southeast Asia.
Overall, we would highly recommend these bungalows simply because the staff were so incredible. Couldn’t say enough!

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. For the money we couldn't have asked for more. The hosts were perfect, so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable as well as being in a good location. I would highly recommend staying here and would be sure to return when I'm next in Nusa Penida. Thank you so much :-)

Die Lage ist direkt in der Nähe vom Hafen und das Hotel holt einen ab :). Spart man sich schon 150k idr. Zimmer sind einfach aber sehr sauber. Man hat alles was man braucht hier . Einziger Nachteil sind die Hähne in der Nacht die ständig Lärm machen. Ich empfehle Ohrenstöpsel 😁

We stayed here for 4 nights and everything was more than perfect. Wajan, the hotel/bungalow owner, and his wife were really friendly and helped us with everything!! They suggested us the best tours and wajan him self showed us part of the island and drove us around! We really enjoyed staying here and had a lot of fun and laughed a lot with the hotel/family crew. Everything here is clean and safe and the restaurants near the place are definitely the best foods I ever ate.

Kamasan Cottage ligt gunstig,dichtbij de haven,het is er schoon en de huisjes zijn ruim! Personeel heel betrokken en aardig.Je verblijft midden in de natuur en toch ben je dichtbij alles wat je nodig hebt om het naar de zin te hebben.Ontbijt wordt in de Cottage gebracht.
