What a hidden gem we found. Located away from the bustle of pong dam this is truly one of the best properties we have been to. Constructed in eco friendly way with mud houses, the rooms are comfortable and bathrooms clean. They have sustainable tourism at their heart and zero waste policy which makes the stay extra special. Kudos to the owner for having this vision and executing it in a way which makes it so comfortable and enjoyable. Mr Mukesh is full of anecdotes and stories which make for some pleasant conversations. Chef Mahavir and Mr Sanjay make the meals super enjoyable. The food is absolutely lip-smacking. We were treated to the local dham which was one of the best we have had. We are already planning for our next visit.

The Pong Eco Resort is a one of its kind experience of a vacation as it is a complete package in itself giving you the experience of trekking on the hills to enjoying sunrise on the beach to a walk through the village to a visit to ancient temple to boat trip to a island. What more can you ask and the icing to the cake is its incredible host Mr Mukesh and his family and his exotic layout of home cooked authentic pahari food. A few inconvenience in that sometimes electricity problems and being cutoff from main road but if you love being in nature you won’t regret going here. Would appreciate Mr Mukesh a generator backup would do great and glass on the windows which just has a net cover. Otherwise it was a pleasure to be at this place. We celebrated Diwali here with Mr Mukesh and other guests and it was just ‘home away from home’. Mr Mukesh is one man army and you just have to contact him and he will make you comfortable.

Good location, warm and friendly people. we were a group of kids and adults 16 of us had a great wonderful time together. you are very much in the forest reserve yet feel safe as the property is next to a village with about 10 houses mostly mudhouse. its a beautiful village to walk around, if you take a morning walk in 10 mins reach to enjoy the rising sun by the pong reservoir. its an experience for sure. talking about boat ride, there is govt forest department operated boat trips, boarding point about 15 mins walk from the property, they run the boat with a diesel generator which makes too much noise literally killing the experience and even causing headache...its an hour plus round trip, my suggestion jus take the boat ride to ramsar island which will take about 20mins and enjoy time at the island its beautiful really there are plenty birds and serene must experience... any place in nature if you sit by make no movements in about 10 mins you will see all the magic. walk around the island is peaceful and refreshing...Mukesh ji the host adds to the charm of the property, his love for food...expect good relishing variety rich food... rooms are clean and warm decor. planning to visit again soon

Had an opportunity to visit the place for a short overnight stay with family. The property is located in the middle of a jungle in a small village surrounded by water from three sides. The rustic, serene and peaceful ambience is comforting for those looking for breaks from the hectic and stressful city chatter. Besides spending a day at leisure, there is plenty of opportunity to trek, boat ride in the lake, angling, bird watching etc. for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers. The property is constructed and beautifully managed in an eco friendly way by Shri Mukeshji and his wonderful and caring team. Almost in the middle of nowhere with limited resources, it's a place worth exploring. The icing on the cake is the personalized care by Shri Mukeshji in ensuring you have a comfortable and memorable stay. A must visit place. Sanjeev Hans

AWESOME - That would be an appropriate one word I would sum my experience of stay at Pong Eco Village. The property is located in a peaceful and serene locality. The most interesting thing I found was that the rooms and the entire property is made with natural materials which is a rare in today's modern age concrete structures. The nature walks to nearby beaches is a must, specially to witness sunrise/sunset. (Yes you read that right, there are 3 of them at walking distance). Icing on the cake is the awesome food by Pappi & Sanjay bhai. Thank you mukesh bhai for this lovely experience. I would be back soon for more.

We were three friends who visited this little eco tourism place very recently, The hang over of hospitality of the owner Mr Mukesh is still not over. Thank god for making people and places like this. The place offers you to have experience of staying in a village, the kind of set up created by Mukesh is like a mud village home. Very clean and the food is amazing, I been vegetarian I must say the best Dal makhani I have ever had, and home made achar is just yum......y. Lot of birds around the place , a nice spot for bird watchers. A must visit place for nature lovers. ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU MUKESH FOR BEING SUCH A NICE HOST. Would like to visit again.

Picturesque view of Mighty Dhualadhar ranges synchronised along with Maharana pratap sagar bank, one can listen to nature composing the forest's grand opus, seasonal migratory birds inside the Forest blessed in pong eco village, the wondrous beauty of Mother Nature ,bask in the surreal splendor that surrounds it, get enchanted with both earthy scent and sea breeze . Luxurious & warm stay with great food and people. When we take the time to examine the of the world around us, we are able to see parallels within our own lives. One who in tune with nature is in tune with the practice of living. Nature moves in a spiral as do our personal lives. It is important to spend time in nature because in this way we can become aware of its wisdom. The Pong Eco Village is been my favourite place, one can find peace and get connected with nature instantly in pong eco village.
