It was just perfekt and we extended our stay because we just couldnt leave this lovely paradise and the Sanctum family. It fet like being with friends Who welcomed us by the bottom of their heart. Cedrick and Fate as well as all other members from housekeeping, cooking, diving have been so helpful, lovely and enjoyable company. It was easy to adress any need or wish in terms of food, accomodation, transport, expeditions and diving. It was also heartwarming to see how they interact with each other. It seems like the whole team really love their place and work. the rooms are spacious and well-furnished and come with moskito-nets and Fans. They have been Set up with a nice style. Upon request the rooms were cleaned and there is also an Option for laundry service. The dive sites are unique and rich in all different kinds of underwater life. The diving was organized and done very professionally. Also the equipment is well maintained. All Divemasters, instructors, guide and captains did very well to make every dive safe and enjoyable. I could come continue forever with this positive review! just visit them by yourself and see it on your own.…
Sanctum is a dive center in one of the best dive (or maybe the best) sites we have dived. Most of the Una Una reefs are in excellent condition. We loved especially black forest and Cedricks secret site. The house reef is perfect for snorkeling and free diving. We encountered for example turtles, rays, morays, napoleon fishes and small squads on night dive. Fauna is plenty. Sanctum itself is a full service dive center with a free nitrox. Breakfast and meals are included in accomodation. Food is good and there is plenty of it. Accomodation consist of slightly different beautifull bungalows. Staff is great and includes a lot of local people including 2 professional dive masters and kitchen crew. This was my second trip to Sanctum (first was in 2015). If you want to experience world class diving in a great atmosphere and excellent accomodation, choose Sanctum Una Una. Only down side is the long trip to get there. But that might also be the reason why it is so well preserved. Thanks Cedrick, Fateh, Un, Valdo and the whole crew!…
Very beautiful resort with well equipped rooms! The food was good and with variety. Great diving center where we did also reef replanting and our nitrox certificate! There is also all the material to do yoga and other activities. Fantastic sunset everyday 🌞 Super week in Una Una !
My family and I had a fantastic five days at Sanctum Una Una Eco Dive Resort. The Diving was the best I have done in Indonesia, and having lived here for five years now; I have dived in quite a few places around the country. The was an abundance of dive sites at Una Una, with an impressive amount of variety. I was particularly impressed with the condition of the reefs and the amount of fish seen at the various dive sites. The equipment was modern, well maintained, and there was plenty of it. The dive instructors were highly professional but very relaxed at the same time, which allowed for a stress-free diving experience. Hospitality at the resort was outstanding, and this fun, family-friendly atmosphere made our stay really enjoyable. This was down to all the staff who were working at the resort. The accommodation was good and having electricity 24 hours a day was a bonus as we could use fans during the night. We were given an additional room at no extra cost to make our stay more comfortable, a lovely gesture! There was also free internet which was another big bonus, especially for the kids. The food was delicious, with lots of variety, ranging from Indonesian classics to salad and pasta. Cold water and excellent coffee were also very much appreciated. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this resort. …
Our stay with our family (2 kids) was perfect at Cedric's homestay! It's a quiet, peaceful and joyful place. When you arrive on the island you seem lost at the end of the world, but you have everything you need at the Sanctum resort. The food is great, the rooms are comfy, the beach is 5 meters from your door... What else do you need?
We booked for 2 nights, but extented to 9 nights. This basically says everything. Diving spots are AMAZING (nitrox!!), staff friedly and professional, we were welcomed very warmly, food was delicious, prices are really fair, we would definetively go there again.
I enjoyed a very exciting week with Sanctum. Obviously, scuba diving was my primary reason for braving the crazy logistics to actually get to the Togeans! The manager Cedric was in excellent communication with me in answering questions and providing helpful advice about travel logistics. Diving Wow, just WOW! Definitely worth the effort to get there Great guides Obe and Vicki. The dive shop is organized and equipment seems well maintained. The dive boats are typically for 4-6 divers and there sites as close as 3 minutes and as far as 30 minutes Resort The lodging accurately reflected what was described online- functional and clean and relatively no frills, which was fine since spending time in the room other than sleeping is a missed oppprtunity to be immersed in the outdoors. The meals were varied, fresh and quite tasty. Communal seating. Nice bonus to have soft drinks and snacks available for purchase….and of course Bintang beer!!! Fa and Gira were key staffers that contributed to such a friendly environment, Value The pricing for everything was very fair and reasonable. I appreciated that Cedric helped me find another resort to allow me to explore a little bit more of the Togeans before I left. He also reminded me of me brain freeze moment when I left my cash in the resort safe. He made plans for another guest to meet me to get the cash back to me. Grateful for his honesty and trust. Volcano Msnynbolcanos fir the landscape in Indonesia but to my knowledge there is only one - at una una, that has scceds to the floor of the actual volcano caldera where you witness puddles of water boiling like a caldron, vents spewing out scalding steam and huge plumes of steam cloud shrouding the floor. It’s about an hour and half each way following a stream that gets progressively hotter. A must/do. I didn’t give Sanctum 5 star review, they truly EARNED it!!…
Appolo, karang lembut, black forest the best, And barren land we can find ambon scorpion fish The food very delicious All dive with nitrox Course available with the best instructor Service very good and fun.
6 days in Sanctum to regenerate ourselves and live a unique experience of feeling at home while being almost at the end of the world. The journey is definitely worth it thanks to the kindness of the team, the incredible diving and snorkeling and great food blending local recipes with some French flair. Cedrick and Fate are great hosts always there to meet our needs and make sure we get the most out of our vacations.
We loved everything about it. Cedric and his team did everything they could to make our dreams come true. We stayed longer so we could get our open water certificate Cedric made it happen! The food was just fantastic. So good. A very welcome variation to fish and rice you get in other places. Fa made bread in the morning which we highly appreciated. The diving was unforgettable. Such beautiful reefs, very good equipment and very capable and friendly dive instructors. We also loved the volcano trip.. hot, steamy and very surprising. A place like we’ve never seen before with also very beautiful rooms. Our children (16 and 18) just loved the place. The only regret is we couldn’t stay longer. We moved on to Toraya and stayed with Cedric’s family which is also highly recommended. Forget the touristic traditional villages. You can see them up in the mountains without all the other tourists. (ask Cedric how to get there) Sanctum Una Una had everything we wanted for a fantastic vacation!…
