We stayed as a family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) for 10 nights in a superior family room. Our thoughts as follows Room - very clean, well maintained, air con (included in room rate, as is the safe) great, bit on the small side for 4 full-sized people, spacious balcony, bed very comfy, pillows hit and miss - they all seem to be different and are changed frequently, some were very lumpy but reception were helpful in sorting this out Dining - if you're hoping to self cater at all it's a bit of a struggle as there's only a fridge in the room, bar food excellent and freshly made (around €8 a dish) but some foods only available when the restaurant is open, breakfast fairly similar to the all incs. we've been to but a good selection, if you have dietary requirements you may struggle a little (especially with the bar menu) but again the hotel will try to accommodate you if you ask ahead. Diner is available each night for €20 per person if requested after breakfast - the menu looked quite varied and tempting although due to our dietary requirements we didn't try this out. Noise - generally very quiet, the bar plays music from around 9am to 12pm so request a room away from it if noise bothers you - if there was one thing we would change about the hotel it would be that the music was less loud. The hotel is located in a quiet area so you will benefit from hiring a car unless you plan on staying at the hotel for all meals. Pool - very clean and well maintained, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, lovely hammock type swing to relax on, for some reason (possibly the water or our sun cream) our swimwear all became tinged with green but this did come out with a white vinegar soak once we returned home, the rooms are positioned around the pool so it's a very quick trip back to the room. Staff - all fantastic, very friendly and helpful, cleaners did a thorough and sterling job. General - remember the hotel tax (due on check out), car park always had enough space for us, the hotel has a pool table (€1 ) and fusbal table (€1) as well as free table tennis, the football pitch and spa mentioned on the website are no longer in operation (although a massuse can be arranged by the hotel), the view from the restaurant is beautiful and a lovely way to start the day.…
Excellent hotel, located in a very quiet area and amazing staff. Thank you Helena and Nina for making us feel at home. Both of them delivered a great customer service, given very useful information and always with a smile. Room cosy, cleaned and functional. Breakfast was fantastic as well.
Great experience with the people, the staff, the food, and the service. The receptionists were always kind and able to solve any problem. Food at the bar was available until midnight so we could eat there in many cases. The food in general was very good, but the amazing thing was the hamburger: fresh meat, fresh bread and veggies. Homemade. Delicious. And so were the salads and the gyros. The rooms were always clean. Also the quality of the customers was really good. We met nice people. The overall resort was quiet at night and we could rest very well. Thank you for the wonderful staying.
We stayed for one week in Zefyros hotel. It's not in the city but it is right in the centre of the island, so it serves as a perfect base for daily excursions in the mainland and the wonderful beaches of the northwest. Nice, cosy, clean hotel with very nice breakfast and friendly staff that will help you with your trips. Definately will stay again, thank you Zefyros!
The hotel is situated in a remote area which makes it unique. The area is very quite with a shop almost next door or for 10 minutes walk with a supermarket. You need a car if you want to travel to Zante or to the closest beach, which is at @15 min drive. I like the position of the hotel because time spend to each location was @ 15-20 min except south ( Dafni beach ) which was 35 min. The hotel itself is very clean, with friendly staff and if you have a problem in the room they will fix it almost immediately. Breakfast is delicious with a different traditional cake every day. We didn't had dinner here but we were informed if we want we can order something with a day before. The pool is perfect, with clean water and kids had the best time ever. Around 8-9pm pool is closing but bar stay open late. Also food at the bar is delicious. All rooms are big, clean and air conditioner which we had it for free. Highly recomanded if you want a quite relaxing holiday away from the big and crowded city.…

We stayed with my girlfriend at this hotel 7 days 29 July-5 August. We were very happy to stay at this hotel. nice clean rooms with air conditioner and big swimming pool which you can rich from your room. Breakfast was great with a big choice. all staff is very friendly and helpful especially receptionists Vasiliki and Nina.Distance to the airport 9 km. and 9-10 km to the beach but no problem it's also a pet-friendly place.I will recommend this place to stay and definitely will come back
We stayed at the Zefyros for the last few days of our holiday on Zakynthos, and we are so pleased we did! The hotel was very peaceful and quiet, with no crazy sunbed wars or loud entertainment. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Nina and Rafaella on reception, and the resident doggy! Our room opened onto the pool and it was comfy, cool and clean. We did have some issues with the toilet flushing but no big deal really. Shower cubicle was a bit small but again manageable. The pool bar is very good value, and we had lunch there a couple of times, as well as drinks and coffee. The buffet breakfast was of a good standard and variety, although it was a bit of a wasp-fest if you sat outdoors (only a few indoor tables). The pool was clean, unheated, and had a kids section for little ones. There's also a games room and spa although we couldn't get a massage appointment when we asked. You will need a car here unless you want to spend all your time at the hotel - there's a shop a few hundred metres walk away but it's a narrow unlit road and there's no tavernas etc in walking distance. We will definitely return here when we come back to Zante.…
As experienced travellers, we were looking for comfort whilst away from all main tourist resorts. We Knew a car was needed for at least a week of our 10 day stay at this hotl. The location of the hotel is very remote, with very few local amenities and a shop a short walk away. There is very little to do at nighttime with no bars or tourist activities nearby. The hotel is very comfortable, the breakfast boring and average. The beds very comfortable and the cleaning is done every day. The bar is the main area of hotel interaction and loud music until 12 at night. The pool can get very busy and noisy around mid afternoon. It's a shame staff at the hotel do not help guests interactt and share actiities more to take away the isolation of the hotel at night time. The advertise and show photos, of pizza ovens, a small ampitheatre area and also a cinema room, there is also a small tennis court, unfortunatley they make no attempt to make use of these facilties in the interest of the guests. I did ask about wether they had a cinema showing any night of the week and the answer was no. The hotel does have a mini bus which will pick and return customers to the airport for a fee of 5 euros each way each. Please do not be fooled into thinking the taxi service to any nearby areas from the minibus is as reasonable. Zante town by hotel minibus is a fee of 6 euros each in the car, each way. so for 2 of us going to zante town and back one evening was 24 euros. Which i thought was extreme as a hotel service especially as most hotel minibuses for customers are free. The hotel also advertises its facilities of hotel transfers as included but charges 5 euros each, each way. This was misleading when booking. Overall the hotel is very good, but i felt but at times very noisy, it is not really a complete get away especially for couples. Do not go if you you want nightlife. I would like the management to explain how this an eco hotel because i did not see any form of recycling or evidence of it. We would have like to have seen evidence of plastic bottle recycling and straw recycling, which is such an easy thing to do.…
What an experience from start to finish? Coming here as a last minute holiday with the family of 4 adults and 4 children, we couldn’t have picked a nicer place. The hotel was very quiet when we arrived. The pool was empty and pretty much to ourselves. The staff is amazing. The bar staff were brilliant and friendly. Lucas...what a guy?! So helpful everyday willing to take us into town whenever we wanted pretty much. As we didn’t have a car, we were a little bit out to walk but Lucas was so helpful for this. The rooms are clean and very nice. The views around the hotel are stunning. The food is great. The breakfast is ideal to get you going! The night food was very nice too. All in all, we would and will return. The location isn’t at the beach or anything but with a trip you are there within 10/15 minutes. We have just enjoyed it all. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing many days just doing nothing but enjoying time to stop. Thank you for a great holiday! All the best, Blackburn Family. …
