The name forest escape is truly deserve. Fresh air, organic farms, lavish resort . Staff are very polite. Suitable for relaxation from busy city life. Nature beauty is available here, awesome peaceful resort family, friend and corporate events.
We stayed for two days at Forest Escape. Its off the beaten path but has all the amenities like pool spa kids zone etc. Mr. Jadhav at the reception was quick with our check in and we booked a morning safari the following day. Chef Chauhan has an excellent choise of local delicacies like Malwani Mutton, Mutton Sukka, Thecha , Bhakris and the two iconic gravies Tambda Rassa and Pandhr Rassa. The food service was prompt and chef Chauhan personally recommended some dishes as we were keen to try the local cuisine. Rooms were clean and spacious. Activities like bonfires at night were very enjoyable and made oir stay special.
Excellent for all the possible reasons. We stayed for 3 nights and had a very good time. Magnolia rooms : We opted for Magnolia room which has a bedroom with a living room and 2 balconies. The sofa-cum-bed in the living room was big enough to accomodate the 3rd member in our group along with kid. Balcony was spacious and provided a beautiful view of hills and vast green forest and farm. The Bedroom had a cupboard and 2 bedside tables. The bed was comfortable and linens were neat. The bathroom was so much different from all what we have seen so far. Near the wall there was a mini garden with some beautiful plants which was such a beauty. Overall, the room was a great choice. Food : The meals and snacks were all lip smacking and delicious. We had complimentary breakfast which had, over a period of 3 days, options such as Chole bhature, Paratha with Aaloo ki subzi, Medu wada with sambhar and chutney, Uttapam, Masala and plain dosa, Poha, Upma, Egg bhurji, boiled eggs and staples as such toasts, corn flakes, tea, milk etc.... . Overall the food options were good and ensured least wastage. Property : In front of our room was an elevated deck which gave a good view of hills and farms. One has to be careful while going upstairs, but worth the view. We also opted for Spa services and they had good couple spa package. The masseuse were nice and knew their trade. Multiple swimming pools and vast green area to explore within the property. They also have a range of activities that you can choose from. One thing that I observed that they had no packaged water to minimize plastic usage. The slippers were rubber and not those disposable kinds, which again is very pro-nature. It makes you think of making concious choices. Request you to check the stuff that they sell near the reception, you'll be delighted to find wild honey, bael jam and some pickles too. To conclude, I'll definitely revisit as it is just the kind of place where you go and keep going :).…
Beautiful big property comfortable room. Villa with privacy limited menu but delicious veg menu value for money One must visit apart from Dam. Nehru park water falls must visit nearby 30 kms wind power mill Chalkewadi near Patan on the way back Mumbai and follow same route to join Satra
Stupendous The best thing about Forest Escapes Koyna Resort koyana is the ever-courteous staff. They will make you feel at home. Starting from check-in to check-out this place is ever welcoming. Reaching the location is not a problem thanks to both Apple and Google maps. Don’t be fooled by the rustic cottages, they’re full of luxury from the inside. The linen, toiletries, and overall feel of the cottage are super rustic and luxurious! Food is limited but only because they cater to a small group of guests. But you ask for it and the chef is more than obliged to cater to your needs. Starting from Khichadi for the kids to fried chicken to Gosht! You name it they have it. Jungle safari was fun, despite us spotting the animal only once. Our naturalist was super knowledgeable and ever gracious. Excellent Evening - well organized party Our Company had Award Function for Target Achievements. One night stay at an awesome Gateway Koyna. The party was well organized in the lovely weather on the open-air lawns with a fireplace. What an ambiance out of the world. Service impeccable food outstanding. The rooms are well maintained.
Our second trip to Forest Escapes Koyna Resort Koyna proved that it is without a doubt the best place to stay in Koyna with the nicest jungle views. One of the nicest and most relaxing vacation experiences a family can have is at the resort, where the view from the infinity pool is to die for. Special mention must be made of the outstanding cuisine at this establishment. It's delicious, and the chef did an amazing job of taking care of us and the other visitors. Even the native food was excellent, significantly surpassing all other foods.
Its a quiet resort near Patan (near Karad) in Maharashtra. We stayed in a Delux room which is given to Club Mahindra Members. Its a standard basic room. There are cottages/Villas also available for non members which are bigger, some with attached pool. The resort has a lawn, swimming pool, SPA and activity room and a farm nearby which can be visited with host guide. The room is very basic without proper place to keep luggage (you need to keep it on a sofa in the passage or on the ground), there is no mini bar. Attached balcony has a mountain/pool view. The food is available in the restaurant and you need to order it in advance as kitchen capacity is limited. The taste is good and service is excellent. You can take a walk within resort on paved roads and enjoy some greenery and get to know various trees planted. You can buy locally produced fruits, papad and other items. The Koyana dam is 8-9 km away and if you come during rainy season or just after that, you can visit/enjoy waterfalls near Navaja/Ozarde etc. Its a good place to relax with family for a couple of days away from city hustle/bustle.…
