MALDIVES islands are OPEN. All the island hotels and guest houses are ready to welcome their tourists. There maybe few hotels still closed for some reasons. Everything is on new normal style with the safety guideline. All the staffs are wearing masks and masks gloves at the Airport and at hotels, social distance and checking guest temperature with a warm welcome make us feel so safe and welcomed🙏
15th October is a BIG day for all the island guest houses. Thank you MILO and Daria for arranging the trip for us. This island is unique. A big Island with more space, most importantly beautiful beaches. The island is very peaceful, the beaches are everywhere and the crystal clear lagoon is all-around. The island is clean, people are so warm and polite. There’s nothing I can fault about this stay. This is not a 5 star resort and you don’t get things like four-season hotels or any other branded resort. We only need sandy beaches and crystal clear lagoon with warm weather with genuine hospitality!

Stayed here for 1 month during the winter (couple with 3 years old son). The weather was perfect (always sunny), the water is warm and super clear to swim with kids and see anormous number of fish. Definitely need 50+ SPF (we used 0,5 l of sun protection cream). There were mosquitoes (because of green plants and palms around), but that was not a big problem. Very beautiful sunsets and night sky.

We spent most time playing on the private beach (the sand is white and ideal to build sand castles) or swimming. Also we tried night fishing, mants observing, snorkeling, aquabike... but the best trip was speedboat riding with dolphines.

There was only one restaurant right near the hotel, you can have lunches and dinners there (we spent about ~70-80 USD per day for 3 persons). Actually, that was the major cost of the trip :D.
Tuna steaks and reef fish were very delicious (I thinks because of special sauce). Also you can bought fruit in a small supermarket.

The key advantage of the Sabba Suits is the teem. Everybody was super friendly, tried to help and do more than we could expect to provide the best service. We feel ourselves like at home that month and THANK YOU!

Me and my husband have just come back from Sabba. It is a small island with a fairly small hotel, one restaurant and max 300 local inhabitants.
It is the perfect place if you want to mingle with local culture, but also to rest in a nice place.
The room has all basic things you need, the hosts are amazingly friendly, the restaurant has good fish and they also organize a few trips.
We had entertainment only in the last night, which was great.
On the constructive side, I would have liked a little more variation in food and some kind of entertainment every night (board games, louder music, any kind of activity to make tourists connect and have fun) as at 7 pm is already dark outside and after dinner you have to go to your room.
Thank you, Sabba, for the wonderful experience we had.

I found the perfect place in Maldives.
A local island and a small guest house with the best team working there. Island life. Simple luxury. Everything you could ask. Friendly staff, smiling from every morning until late night. It is not a distant smile it's a smile coming from there hearts. You get a feeling like visiting friends, they make a jokes with you, they speak open with you, they will answer all the questions.
The wonderful owner Abdulla created a sense of the community and in a few days you will feel like a part of the island and not only guest.
Guest house and island is taking exceptional care when it comes to covid19.
I can reassure you that you will feel much safer on the island than in any European City.
If you want to escape covid come to the Sabba Summer
Food was absolutely delicious, specially bananas pancakes😋
Every day you can go to a different excursions, some take half day some fully day.
The biodiversity is fantastic.
In the afternoon you can spend time relaxing on the wonderful beach or walking around the island.
I want say big thank to Abdulla, Latheef, Kris, Ali, Hassan and kitchen staff they did best to fulfill my every wish.
I will remember this stay forever...

If you can, just go ahead make your dream of paradise come true!

The entire staff at Sabba Summer Suite were simply amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From the moment we arrived at the Island, we were welcomed by the entire team with bouquets, fresh coco, photoshoot and a delicious chocolate cake. Throughout our stay, we were pampered and looked after as if we were celebrities. We enjoyed every single moment at the Sabba Summer Suite, it's a Paradise on Earth. The food at the Lobster Grill was delicious. On numerous occasions during our stay, my wife and I had cravings for traditional dishes that we could only have back at home, and with us being thousands of miles away in Maldives, the Chef made the dishes for us, which were not even on the menu and this made us feel very special.

The rooms were beautiful and spotless. Anytime during the day or night, if there was a need for anything - the entire team at Sabba was always standing by.

Thank you Chris, Milo, Abdulla, Ali and the entire team at Sabba for making our stay....extraordinary and magical. My wife and I still talk about the time we spent there. Miss you all and we are looking forward to our next trip to your paradise.

Regards,
Adeel A.

Have you heard the term recreational or regenerative tourism? Well, this is what it is. After the holiday you feel fantastic and energized. You can relax all day at the beach or do numerous of activities, either with the Sabba Family or on your own. Day tripping, snorkeling, diving, fishing, hunting, kayaking and also jetskiing (there is only one jetski on the island so it is not too bad for the environment). The staff or better said, the family, is just wonderful. All are very nice, friendly and comforting. We were treated like a part of the family and at the end we just hated to leave this wonderful place. Food is simply delicious. Real and fresh without any additives. If you want to give yourself a wonderful treat, visit this wonderful island. All the best to the Sabba Family and to Fodhdoo!

If you really want to relax from city life, this is really the best choice. We would like to thank the whole Sabba team, namely Milo, Abdulla and Latheef, for wonderful 2 weeks in paradise during which they showed us the beauty of the real Maldives. We've never had such a great holiday program, from snorkeling with turtles, mantas and sharks to night fishing. The food, accommodation and generally the service was absolutely great. It is obvious that the whole team loves their work and does not do it just for the money and this is really respectable nowadays. We wish you with Ivan the best and see you next year.❤️❤️🌴

The team at Sabba Summer Suite are friendly and eager to make sure their guests are happy. The food was great and the service at the restaurant was top notch. The best thing about this place was the beach access. Gorgeous beach with an amazing house reef. Loved this little island and would like to visit again.

I returned to Maldive Islands after almost 20 yrs. Of course there are some changes...
Overall I enjoyed my vacation very much. My room was nice, and clean. Food was good, waiters were nice, and the island is beautiful. Of course we cannot expect the same level of comfort or organization we find in a Resort.
Guest houses are very simple.
The beach is beautiful, and the reef is very close.
What I did not expect, after many years, was the amount of plastic that the Ocean vomits on the beaches. It makes me very sad.
I took a walk on the first day, around the Island. The area dedicated to tourists was very clean but the rest of the Island was invaded by plastic bottles, and pieces of glass. Some guests, and I, during our vacation, dedicated some of our time to clean this beautiful place.
I must say, however, that I found out that on this Island there is a beautiful project for plastic recycling. It's called 'My Eco Island'

I do hope that local people understand how important is to save the Ocean, and their Islands from plastic.
Fodhdhoo should implement this project for recycling plastic and set the example for other Islands.

We want plastic free Nature. Let's all help!

Thanks! I had some beautiful days on the island
